I've seen the Specs of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL Online and I've watched some YouTube Videos on it and the only real differences between them is the Design and somewhat better Camera's the Screen size and the Battery size and the Charging Speeds will apparently be the same as the Google Pixel 8 Pro. The only key differences are the RAM being bumped up from 12 to 16 GB's and the New Tensor G4 Chip but apparently from what I've heard that isn't much of an Upgrade compared to the Google Tensor G3 Chip in the Google Pixel 8 Series Phones they are actually calling the Google Tensor G4 a minor Upgrade compared to the Google Tensor G3. In my opinion it doesn't seem to be worth Upgrading especially since I have the 256 GB Model of the Google Pixel 8 Pro and 12 GB'S of RAM is more than enough for a Smartphone for the next few Years. I hate to say it but I don't think Google will get many people to Upgrade from the Google Pixel 8 Pro to the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Thoughts?
I have an old LeEco phone my grandfather offered to me after being on an old bag with a bunch of old phones from my uncle (LeEco Le2) but it seems that it is frp locked to his account I can technically use it as I installed a launcher and opened it form the setup but I can't use any Google apps We don't really have that good of a relationship with him lately so I wanted to ask if there's any way I can make use of the phone with one of my Google accounts (Currently in android 6.0.1)
Does anyone know of any credible sources? Are carriers tight lipped with this info? Thank you! #nerds
For some reason, a few days ago, my Google Play Store stopped updating my apps. I assumed that I had to many apps again, so I deleted almost all of them. It still didn't work, so I cleared a good 20% of my systems storage. I tried restarting my phone (which I did three times already), I've tried deleting and redownloading the apps I needed updated, I've tried everything. Yet, it still isn't working. Is there any way I can fix this?
I have some older Android phones running apps that make pristine pieces of hardware that cost me several $hundred remain useful.
I need to update an app on a Pixel 3a and Play Store wants a password.
I am logged into the phone and so perhaps it wants my Google password, as the device password, which has successfully logged me into Google Mail etc, isn't floating its boat.
The Play Store isn't giving me a 2FA option or "forgot password" and I have no plans to type my actual Google password into a phone (it's 32 characters long, to start with, and the phone is "mounted").
Why won't this phone give me a 2FA option to get the Play store going? Is there a way to do that? Why won't it use the account that I'm logged in to on that phone to do a 2FA with my current phone?
I'm a little aggravated right now but even considering that I think this is frigging stupid.
I guess I could get my account password from Chrome or Firefox, on that same device, which I'm sure I can, or mail it to myself 😬😬😬, but it seems genuinely broken that when I'm already logged into the phone, Play Store wants to be special but won't give me the usual 2FA option.
Unless I am misunderstanding something major.
hey reddit, i got this 6a since 6 months ago and always have the same issue, when the battery dies takes to long to turn on ( last time that happend i spent 3 dias whit out phone) last night my phone was 1% and i put it on the charge but dies any way since last nigth i tried to charge it whit the cable, on my pc but nothing works. anyone have the same issue?

Apparently you can use this to reach the top of your screen when you are using your phone one handed.
What are the best places to look at for unlocked android phone deals? Interested in getting a Galaxy S21 and am wondering what are some places to look at other than Amazon.
Hey fellow Android enthusiasts,
I recently came across a helpful blog post on Scalefusion that discusses the implementation of remote wipe functionality on Android devices. While it might seem like a promotional piece at first glance, I found the information quite valuable and wanted to share it with the community.
The blog post delves into the importance of remote wipe as a crucial security feature for Android devices, especially in scenarios where a device is lost, stolen, or needs to be retired. It provides a detailed guide on how to set up and utilize this feature effectively, ensuring your sensitive data remains protected.
I appreciate that the post doesn't just tout a product, but instead offers insightful information that can benefit anyone looking to enhance their Android device's security. It's always great to have resources like these available, especially for those of us who prioritize safeguarding our digital assets.
If you're interested in bolstering your Android device's security, I'd recommend giving the blog post a read. It's a worthwhile read for anyone who values their data privacy and wants to take proactive steps to protect it.

Heads up - with r/AndroidAuto deciding to be closed indefinitely, I have opened r/AndroidAuto2 as somewhere to discuss Android Auto, ask questions, and to share news/updates.
I just downloaded F-Droid app and wanted to see if there is a good security app that is not on Google play store, any suggestions?
Also, does anyone know if there is a TRON script for Android? With all of the viruses coming out for PC's and especially android, since there so common. Is there any malware protection for users?
