Spring just got a whole lot stronger. Welcome to the United Football League. Welcome to the home of Spring Football on Reddit.
We are here to discuss all things UFL, an American football league that formed when the XFL and USFL merged.
Whether you started out an XFL fan, a USFL fan, both, or neither, you are welcome here.

Skip holtz mentioned today on his interview that from what he’s heard the Arlington hub will likely remain in place for 3 years then teams branch into their markets and then after a few years of being in market look for local ownership.
Something interesting with that is it sounds very similar to what Murdoch and fox had said in the past the plan for the USFL was but now instead of USFL hub we have the Arlington one (which is much better).
It seems like this version of the league is following fox’s business plan, I wonder how patient they’re willing to be with that.
San Antonio Brahmas - Great: Kellen Mond is one the best prospects to ever come to spring football, he'll be fun to watch in San Antonio. The Brahmas are set at quarterback.
Arlington Renegades - Mostly dependent on Luis Perez: He led the UFL in passing yards last season and did great for the Chargers in the preseason. He's a top tier spring football quarterback, and Arlington still has the rights to him, so if he's back they're golden. Although, Lindsey Scott Jr. did great in college, granted he was FCS, but he's got potential
St. Louis BattleHawks - All dependent on AJ McCarron: There's not much else to say, it's really just a matter of whether McCarron comes back for a third season or not.
Michigan Panthers - Good: Perkins was solid before the injury, and Perry will also add to the room. I think Perkins beat Perry, but it'll be a good competition. The Panthers are set at quarterback.
Birmingham Stallions - Good: It's either going to be Sam Hartman or Matt Corral, my guess is the latter since I think the Commanders will offer Hartman a futures contract. Corral never impressed me in his limited time in spring football or preseason NFL, but he's another great prospect, so the Stallions are set at quarterback as long as Corral returns, which it looks like he will.
DC Defenders - Below Average: I know there were some injuries, but I don't think Ta'amu is a top tier spring football quarterback any more, and we don't even know if he's coming back. That leaves McClendon, Jones, and Slovis. McClendon is mid, Jones mostly sucked in his preseason time, and Slovis is an unknown (though I think he has the best potential of the bunch).
Memphis Showboats - Bad: I wouldn't be saying this if I thought Jason Bean would actually play for Memphis this spring, but he impressed in the Colts' preseason so I think he'll stick around there for another year or so. Currently the Showboats have Cookus and Dormady, who were both unimpressive last year. Unless Bean plays they need to find someone else.
Houston Roughnecks - Bad: The main team in need of a quarterback didn't take a rookie this year, strange. I don't see anyone on their roster who is remotely promising, but as a Texas team, I am praying that the Roughnecks sign Max Duggan.
as much as I enjoy watching the NFL (go Bills)
The UFL hits 10x different and I love watching underrated and unheralded players get their opportunity to shine. I miss it dearly.
On another note, they definitely need to release the schedule soon, it’s pretty ridiculous that it’s not released several months before the next season starts. Anyone have any guesses as to when that schedule (with full dates and times) might drop?
I live in NJ and was planning to take a few solo trips to watch the Defenders play and I’d love to know soon so I can take off work
