The first games are only three weeks away, so I will switch into a weekly update mode. Each week I will post the status of some of the games.
As some of you Austrian guys asked me if I can add the Vikings and Raiders, I can do it, but need your help: If someone gives me the capacity of the available sectors in the stadiums, I will track at least some of the Austrian games too, maybe also with forecasts. Additional informations are appreciated as well, for example the status of the last four rows in the North stand of Generali Arena (empty or occupied by contingents?). Just contact me here or via PM for additional informations.
Unfortunately I have to flatten my forecast numbers in almost every game this week. I`ve expected higher sales at this point but they honestly didn`t happen. As usual, orange cells are downgrades, green cells are upgrades in the numbers. I`ve cut the number of the Bremen game from 17k to 15k. At least the first Hannover game against Frankfurt seems to slowly increase at this time.
The Season opener (RF@CC) should still be a 5-digit-game, estimated now 10k. The other three Cologne games in Aachen look horrible. In these games I have an average of one (!) sold ticket per day so the interest in these games seem to be almost zero in the pre-sales. The sudden jump that you see in the curves is due to booking of contingents. I thought there would be a cooperation between Alemannia Aachen and the Centurions but I can`t see that at all in the numbers.
The Fire games will take place late in the season so there is enough time for a significant increase in the sales. But honestly I`m currently not so convinced of my former estimations that`s why I cut each of the game forecasts by 1k.
Good thing is the sales rate increase for RF@FG. I haven`t really figured out where it comes from, but hopefully it continues during the next week.
Nuremberg sales have almost come to a complete standstill at this point. I`ve cut my estimation from 17k to 15k.
Sinsheim is at the slowest sales rate since the start. Therefore I`ve cut my forecast to 12k.
No hype in Reutlingen at the moment. Maybe numbers increase after the start of the season.
Welcome to our Free Talk Friday Thread where you can talk about whatever you'd like!
Want to talk about life? Got something cool you want to show the community? Share pictures of your cat? This is the right place for it! You can of course still talk about Football & everything that might not justify its own thread :)
We will not enforce rule 4 in this thread so you can also talk about politics - just keep it civil!
This thread is posted every week on Friday.
1.) Cologne finish ahead of Madrid and Hamburg.
2.) Prague have one close game against Vienna.
3.) Hamburg lose ten games.
4.) Rhein lose two games in the regular season.
5.) Milano win five games.
Which one is the most likely/unlikely in your eyes?
I made 3 tier lists, one for each conference. Place 1 team on each tier and show what your predictions are for the new season.
Central: Create a ELF Central Conference 2024 Tier List
Western: Create a ELF Western Conference 2024 Tier List
Eastern: Create a ELF Eastern Conference 2024 Tier List
Here is my prediction:
(Western, Central, Eastern from left to right)
They still had an advertising space on the FIBO kickoff event so they will probably launch a product again this season.
Has anyone heard details about it? Will there be a sticker album? Release dates?
Hendrik seems to be the oracle of the ELF as he predicted all three previous ELF champions (Galaxy, Vikings, Fire).
This year he predicts Rhein Fire becoming the ELF champion again. This would be boring, hopefully he won`t be right again.
In order to find out who is the best analyst I post the published "powerrankings" of the latest Foot Bowl stream. At the end of the season I will evaluate it by calculating the deviations. The actual ranks will be based on the W-L record and playoff results.
These are the predictions I recorded during the stream:
Both LBs.
Both former Centurions.
Weitz 8th overall (1st round, 2023: Centurions, signed by Rhein Fire for the 2024 season)
Ogbevoen 17th overall (2nd round, 2023: Raiders Tirol, signed by Cologne Centurions for the 2024 season )
Poor Centurions. Get robbed by Rhein Fire for 2 years and now by Winnipeg as well. :D
Dear Community,
Every few months I would like to give you an overview of what has happened in the ELFpedia, what is new and not forget to encourage you to participate in this project.
Questions
Can you use this function properly without an explanation or would you like to have a short help video? For example, I once created one for the offseason tracker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyvK25EEfeM
Example where I have used DPL3: https://elfpedia.eu/Players_outside_their_own_country
Note
This is a complex feature that I am not yet 100% familiar with. If someone already has a lot of experience with it, please let me know!
I can see that the number of requests in the ELFpedia is steadily increasing, but the number of people contributing content is stagnating. Conversely, this means that many things take a long time before I can finish putting them on the wiki on my own.
However, anyone who is interested can help us out. You also don't need to be afraid of destroying something, this is only temporary in a wiki and can easily be fixed again.
So don't be afraid!
If you have your own project, for example, or are planning one: Come to me and we can see how we can implement it together in the wiki.
Do you have any general suggestions as to what content is still missing? Or questions about how something works?
Feel free to write them here in the post, I'll be happy to help!
I am also currently looking for a graphic designer who would like to do something for us, if you are interested, please contact me!
CSS / Javascript professionals are also always welcome :)
The target of the league is to have 750.000+ spectators in the stadium over the course of the season.
For this reason I would like to track the official numbers of spectator for each game of the season together with you.
I would like to use the following layout for weekly updates.
Please let me know what you think of it.
If you have any further Ideas please let me know.
PS: The hype is already there. Cannot wait for the season to start.
I have just written an article about how the ELF metagame has evolved since year one when comes to A-imports. I would like to know what you think in this matter, hear your opinions in this subject.
I leave the link to the article below as a reference. Looking forward to your opinions.
Cheers

Just in the title really, I see them sporadically pop up on social media but can't find an honest and true list of these things.
Regarding stats, there are a few sites that have them but not to the degree the ELF has their 2022 stats.
Any help on the topic would be appreciated.
I was thinking about how the production could be improved, preferably without adding high costs. One thing that came to mind was to include drone shots during the game. For example at the evening games in Madrid or during daytime in Tirol showing the mountain range. I think that would also add up to the characteristics of the teams as the landscape ist something that makes Tirol unique but you don’t really notice it with the normal cameras at the stadium. Other things I’d love to see but are probably to expansive at the moment are onfield reporters at every game, commentators in the stadium, an expert team who analyze and talk about the games in the elfzone conference and something to catch the atmosphere of the fans before the games like doing fan interviews during the power parties and stuff. What are your ideas?
Bravos will play in Vallehermoso Stadium, it's official.
Good choice imo. Never been inside but the stadium is in the heart of the city, near La Castellana and less than 20 minutes walking from some big train/subway stations like Cuatro Caminos, Moncloa and even Nuevos Ministerios. Great location and looks decent inside.
The stadium can fit 10k people.
Nick Alfieri did a great interview with the new QB of the Vienna Vikings Ben Holmes.
It's not a bog-standard interview, but really interesting!
BEN HOLMES: Adversity, Loss, Leadership, Fatherhood, Vienna Vikings, ELF || IMPORTED (youtube.com)
Bravos just posted this on Instagram.
Ruben Ibeas (Grizi's NFL podcast co-host) also published something about Deebo and Grizi from today, I guess teasing a future podcast.
The Helvetic Mercs will play their homegames in Stadion Brühl (capacity 12,500) & Sportzentrum Kleinfeld (capacity 3,500).
Right staring point is the old stadium from last season
Stadion Brühl is the left.
Sportzentrum Kleinfeld is the southern point.
So only 1 game (1st vs Dragons) to be played in the bigger stadium.
All others will be held in the smaller one.
Welcome to Rookie Wednesday! Here you can ask any question about the European League of Football or just American Football in general.

The new collection is now online.
The products look pretty good.

If you want me to add some more leagues next time, just tell me. Thanks for reading!
Today I received the ELF newsletter and it is mentioned that the gamepass will get a new feature called ELF Zone. When I click on it I just get forwarded to the gamepass site without any further info. Does anybody know more about this? Will it be like NFL Redzone feature? That would surely be awesome, ideally with host but even without if it always shows you the game where the action is.
New: I`ve added colours in the forecast cells. Green means that the number has increased compared to last update. Orange: Number has decreased. No colour = Stable or new number.
Sea Devils: No much change here for the Hamburg home games in Bremen and Hannover. I`m getting slightly concerned about Bremen because the curve flattens now significantly. So I reduced my forecast number from 18 to 17k for the moment.
The sales rates have been very stable for each of these three highlight games. Still the PreZero Arena seems to attract a lot more people than Bieberer Berg... (but we have to keep in mind that Galaxy could sell a lot more standing room tickets than I would expect. As you all know I can not log them)
Rhein Fire: No unexpected change here.
Edit: The German newspaper "Rheinische Post" (partner of Rhein Fire) mentioned my last update from this subreddit when they published an article about the early progress in Rhein Fire sales and a very likely new sales record for the new season:
To be honest: I don`t know what happened at RF@CC. My log today has shown fewer sales than last week. Two possible reasons: They opened a new sector (I haven`t spoted one) or they changed seats to available that have been marked as occupied before, for example contingents that haven`t been fully used. If anyone has a hint let me know. Third reason would be that I made a mistake when collecting the data (will check that next time).
Cologne has also announced 7,5k sold tickets this week. This also doesn`t really match with my logged actuals. Could be that they gave tickets to people behind the field goals. But it doesn`t look like it so I think this was just a number for public relation reasons and my number is the correct one.
Notable: There is a signifcant increase in the sales for the other three Aachen games. Again hard to say what`s the reason for it. Could be advertising. That is why I have increased my forecasts for the third and fourth game in Aachen.
I will post my next update again in about two weeks. Afterwards I maybe switch to weekly because then we should finally see more and more steep curves. And I know everybody here loves steep curves ;)
