OK, so Swapticons are a pair of cube shaped robots who combine head first into either a vehicle or an animal. And how much thought did they put into that scrap?

Anyway, I have a better idea. How about a Transformers toy line where everyone can transform from vehicle to robot, then combine into a bigger robot where one only forms the upper half and the other only forms the bottom half; finally, the combined form can also transform into his or her own vehicle mode. I can it.......... Transformers: Powerlink Combiners.

THE BOT/CONS

We would have five teams of two Autobots and seven teams of Decepticons, the first one of each two pack will always form the interchangeable upper torso, the 2nd in said pack will always form the interchangeable lower torso and their combined form has it's own name.

THE AUTOBOTS:

1. Optimus Prime + Ultra Magnus = Ultra Prime,
2. Hot Rod + Bumblebee = Rodimus,
3. Arcee + Windblade = Chromea,
4. Jetfire + Skyfire = Safeguard and
5. Grand Slam + Raindance = Slamdance.

DECEPTICONS:

1. Megatron + Starscream = Galvatron,
2. Shockwave + Skywarp = Cyclonus,
3. Soundwave + Thundercracker = Scourge,
4. Nightbird + Slipstream = Flame War,
5. Tankor + Jetstorm = Tankstorm,
6. Giga + Mega = Overlord and
7. Nemesis Prime + Bugbite = Anti Prime.

NOTE: Overlord and Anti Prime would be their own separate team(s) as they hate the other Decepticons as much as the Autobots.

THE STORY:

In their fight over The Enigma of Combination, one blast from both Optimus and Megatron caused it to unleash some of its energy, resulting in turning all the Autobots and Decepticons present at the time into Powerlink Combiners. Now and after the Enigma somehow landed on Earth, so will their War.

IN CONCLUSION:

I know there is no chance in the inferno of this idea ever happening, just like I know a lot of people have a better idea than this, I just wanted to share what my this ridiculous thought and hear from everyone on how good or terribly worst this idea is. Goodnight everybody.

By flexible I mean which of the big three Toku shows allow for more flexibility and experimentation with format, tone, genre or suit design etc

Seasons and/or movies I guess.

Mature/Dark/adult/Teen/Older Teen whatever you want to call it. Something that seems less like it is aimed at kids.

I'm a PR fan first but I've really been enjoying the differences between it and Sentai and getting into Metal Heroes and other tokusatsu

I wanna know if y'all can show me more villains with upgrades.

I like how the Golem Soldiers/Putties have a hardened version for Zyuranger and a vested upgrade for the Lord Zedd arc in PR I really also like the Renshi from Gekiranger/ Jungle Fury and I think they have the best upgrade gimmick I've seen for Mooks to Generals

I used to have this DVD of this one tokusatsu show remember it but I think I can recognize the design and opening, but I can't get to remember what the name of the show..

The first scene it likes 4-5, men and women in their tokusatsu fighting again some kind of alien space ship during night time.. the men share same black suit, and women red+white.. the only different is their weaponry.. maybe one of the guy wearing shoulder Cannon, and it seems they at utter defeats maybe some of them die afterward.. the main character isn't there in first scene I assume , he also have same suit as other guy but the only different is he wear some sort of raggy cape
