Republic, Separatist, Rebel and Imperial fleets fight for the fate of the galaxy in Star Wars™: Armada, the two-player miniatures game of epic Star Wars space battles!
Massive Star Destroyers fly to battle against corvettes and frigates. Banks of turbolasers unleash torrential volleys of fire against squadrons of starfighters. Engineering teams race to route additional power to failing shields. Laser blasts and explosions flare across the battlefield. Even a single ship can change the tide of battle.
In Star Wars: Armada, you assume the role of fleet admiral, serving with either the Republic Navy, Separatist Navy, Imperial Navy, or Rebel Alliance. It’s your job to issue the tactical commands that will decide the course of battle and, perhaps, the fate of the galaxy.

Hello everyone! For those who celebrated, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you’re looking forward to a fantastic December. We have a lot of exciting updates to share today, so let’s dive in!
We’re thrilled to introduce the Armada Legends development cycle system! Each month, we focus on adding new ships, squadrons, and upgrades to expand the Armada Legends library for casual play. The process includes a fixed faction, ship/squadron rotation and a community poll to decide on relevant units for that cycle. Upgrades are handpicked by the dev team from community suggestions to ensure balance and variety. This collaborative effort keeps Legends content fresh, engaging, and perfectly suited to our community.
We’ve mapped out an exciting year of development cycles to give every faction a chance to shine. From CIS ships to GAR squadrons and beyond, each month introduces fresh opportunities for innovation. Here's a glimpse of the rotation, starting with December 2024’s focus on GAR ships:
Ships: CIS > GAR > Rebel > Empire > repeat
Squadrons: Empire > Rebel > GAR > CIS > repeat
Upgrades: Vary by month
Upcoming Dev Cycles:
…and so on.
Be sure to check the forums for updates and participate in shaping the cycles!
This month, we’re focusing on a new ship for the Galactic Republic (GAR)! To avoid potential overlap with AMG’s final update, the Republic Arquitens has been excluded from the options.

Playtesting is at the heart of improving Legends content, and now it comes with rewards! For every verified playtest each month, both players earn entries into our raffle. To qualify, fleets must follow Legends content guidelines, and playtest reports should include summaries, photos, and notes about the playtested content. More entries mean better odds of winning one of our incredible prizes, ranging from physical models to 3D printing STL files. Head to the playtest forums for details and start testing!

The November playtest raffle is happening today! All verified playtests from last month’s Subjugator dev cycle are entered for a chance to win prizes such as ship models, custom tokens, STL files, or even a copy of Tabletop Simulator. This month, one winner will be drawn and get to choose from the prize pool. Unclaimed prizes roll over into next month’s drawing, where two winners will be selected.

I've been trying to expand my republic fleet but Venator-Class Star Destroyers cost an arm and a leg on ebay. I don't want to do homebrew until I've collected the official sets. Anyone know where I can get Republic and Separatist stuff reasonably price? I'm willing to pay above MSRP and I don't mind if it's used, I just can't seem to find anything on ebay or facebook marketplace. If you have anything to sell, DM me directly. Otherwise, links are appreciated and/or advice!
I am relatively new to star wars armada I know exactly 1 other person who has played armada before looking to get some games on with people in my area. Let me know if you are nearby and looking to play star wars armada.
I really like painting custom resin-printed Armada models and I’m trying to add some more to my fleet. Specifically, does anyone know where to find accurately sized vengeance-class and mandator I-class dreadnoughts? I’m specifically looking for models similar to dolynick’s vengeance-class on DeviantArt and the mandator I-class from the Republic at War mod. Thanks!
The Super Star Destroyer is massive and extremely good at dishing out damage as well as tanking the field. There is a 220 point version and a 250 point version that fits nicely in a 400 pt game with 150 points to spare on squadrons or other ships. What is a good reason NOT to play the SSD every single time? It just seems so OP.
ARC enthusiasts, please explain how you can use space snails when you can run the best -Wing squadron in the game.
G'day everyone! For a couple of years or so, my mate, Barry, and I have been wanting to start a blog to chat about tabletop wargames like Star Wars Armada or X-Wing, but also any other tabletop games while sharing our various amusing anecdotes and conversations.
Well, we've finally got around to it - Enjoy!
So this happened… Ackbar confire with natural 5x dubs on a GAR VSD.
It braced and redirected 6x damage losing pretty much all shielding.
Just want to see what the community has been working on, what crazy projects everyone has been doing, since hombrew and Star Wars Armada Legacy is growing.
I have a few of my own, the UNSC for myself and Star Trek for a Christmas gift are my current ones, but I am also looking into making Helldivers as a gift for a friend as well.
Plan to post some pictures soon of all the models I have acquired so far, unfortunately, me nor my friend who printed them are not allowed to share the files...
I was just wondering about this since AMG pulled the plug many months ago and we have to rely on third party models. I personally own a sizeable imperial and rebel task force, but no clone wars era ships. A couple of SDs. chimaera, and SSd, and with support, a starhawk, liberties, frigates, and corvettes. What about you all?
Quick picture of the Liberty and Home One boxes. The Liberty box lid is ready, I just haven’t printed it yet.
Like the star destroyer, home one goes upside down. This allows the slot on the lid to fit over the stand, which helps with the ship just rotating freely.
Liberty is pretty stable. There’s a little woggle, but its wings don’t touch the lid or anything inside the box, so I guess it’s fine.
I modified the star destroyer box to be able to fit an extra ship card. It’s on the printer now. I also modified all boxes so that the stands come out easier (more room to tilt around the feet was the solution). I am not reprinting the ones I already printed, but I I tend to print at least one of each final design.
Oh, I slotted the home one ID card in. It didn’t print perfectly, but good enough for me not to worry. The name plates are a tight fit and require no glue to stay. (The only thing that needs glue is the magnets, and one could opt to forgo those entirely.)
Looking to sell the following either locally or through shipping but don't know what it's worth. Any thoughts/ideas?
Raider class corvette Nebulon escort frigate x2 Victory class star destroyer x2 Gladiator class star destroyer x2 Cr90 corvette x2 Assault frigate mark two 14 Imperial squadrons of various types 12 rebel squadrons of various types
All cards etc with these, base game content and probably a bit of additional content as well
Doing some size comparisons between Armada and Star Trek Into the Unknown
I have already tried it in 5 games, with 80% victories it has defeated Leia and Madine, destroyed Piett and Jerjerrod and when he lost against Grievous, it finished him off in the process.
I modified it only once, but I have considered some modifications for a tournament in December, I appreciate any opinion.

Doing some "crowdsourcing": I am looking for a library of Armada fonts and faction symbols, and ship silhouettes. Ideally as vector graphics as I need them for my 3D printable storage system boxes. Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you!
I had a game last Friday where I finally got a 10-1. The only thing I lost was a pair of TIE Fighters. My ISD, Quasar, and both Gozantis survived another ISD, VSD, and Quasar. I thought I flew really well. Sadly I was too nervous to remember to take photos during the game. But man, all the reading and practicing I've been doing finally paid off and I got the flawless 10-1!
