Hanging on a stair rail in Central TX

Rat snake? Most people I talk to here panic at the sight of snakes, so I relocated this one off the railing.

Is my snake okay? His humidity is at 70 and his temp is at 73. I just don’t know if the wrinkles are something to worry about. We’ve tried everything. And he was really slow moving while attacking when we try to feed him. Does anyone know what this could mean or if it’s something to worry about?

My ball babies, pastel pied male ball and Albino black pastel female ball.

Loving their space in that 120 gallon enclosure.

Is this actually a corn snake?

This snake is listed in my local FB marketplace and is labeled as a corn snake. There’s just something about the shape of the head that makes me skeptical though… is this just a really obese corn snake or is it mislabeled? It’s obese regardless of species but I’m trying to figure out if it’s the fat that’s distorting my confidence in identifying it. The head is just making me think king snake for some reason, the fact that this is a snow morph doesn’t help. I’m just thinking about taking this snake on… the owners very clearly don’t know much about their care since the enclosure looks much more like a suitable habitat for a rodent than a snake. I’m usually pretty good at identifying snake species but I’m definitely not an expert.

Help me choose a snake right for me

I don't know yet if i am going to get one or not, but I would LOVE ONE. Yes I do have experience with reptiles. I have been researching then for 3-5 years now, and I owned a veiled chameleon for 3 years, which has just recently passed away. I moved on from it, and decided I wanted to try again with an easier, more docile and family friendly animal. I love snakes and would love to have one. I have been specifically looking at 3 different species. Ball python, hog island boa, or bci (boa constrictor imperator). I can house it in my room. There is limited space though. Tha max is maybe 4x2x2 or 6x2x2 if I shift some things around. A ball python would be great. I love the colors and they are especially docile. But I think it would be funner if I got a bigger, more active snake. That's where the other 2 options come in. Either a hog island, or imperator boa constrictor. Would a imperator work in a 4x2x2? And there seems to be mixed opinions on how big they get. Some say 6',others say 7-8', and some say up to 10'. I would get a male since they get smaller. Then a safer option would be a hog island boa. But it is pretty expensive and no morphs that I know of. What do you think?

Why does my baby king snake stay under his water bowl 24/7?

So I have an entire set up with a thick layer of substrate and multiple hides on both heated and cool side. He never uses any of the hides or basking spots. In fact, I have never ever seen him come out to bask when the light is on. I feel like maybe something is wrong with him? I know it is normal for a king snake to like to hide. But this guy literally hasn't left from underneath his water bowl in a week. I have even stayed up real late in the AMs to check on him..and still he doesn't move..just curls right up when I lift the bowl.

How much is my snake really worth

So I just went to the local reptile expo and well I don’t really know a whole lot about morphs but ik a little bit and I’m also more of a boa guy usually but I saw there was this guy that had a number of morphs listed and looked similar to some of the more expensive ones I saw there but for only $60.. the guy said apparently it’s because he couldn’t sell him before so he marks the price way down and when I try looking up the morphs (Orion enchi pastel ghost) the only ones that come up with all those also have super in there but we’re going for around $450 and so I was just wondering do I have any money making genes in this snake or do I need it to have super.. also what would be a good pairing lol
