First week of November? Mid November? Or y’all wait until Thanksgiving is over?

Do any other women find it very difficult to make new friends in this city? I’m an empty nester and not considered from here although I was born here. I have lost all my former friends only because my life has gone down a completely different path and we’re no longer compatible. I find them so judgmental and bad energy. And maybe they feel the same about me. Doesn’t matter anymore. This is a large city, but a small town. Everyone knows everyone; it’s bizarre at times. So many people were born and raised here and have never left. Nothing wrong with that, but it makes if difficult for newcomers because they’re wrapped up in their cliques and not receptive to new friendships. I saw this with some Harley riders and I’ve never seen that in my life. The biker community is usually very friendly and open to all. At least in Georgia they were. If anyone has any suggestions on how to meet female friends, I’m open. (Already joined Meetup and several FB groups)

i’m visiting san antonio for a concert and want to bring my camera. it’s a canon z135. it looks like the camera lens is just under 3 in or might be right at 3 in when fully extended. do you think i’ll be able to bring it in frost bank center without any hassle?

I’d like to get grillz made for my bday and I’ll be home for the weekend and can’t wait to be back in my city! I’ve seen a place called Mobile Grillz I think that looks solid. But I’d love to get something I can pick up before Tuesday when I leave.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to get rid or limit roaches coming into our house.

My husband and I moved into this apartment complex, and are pretty clean people. No crumbs anywhere or food left out, counters constantly wiped, floor swept, we take our trash out regularly, and if there is dishes in the sink they’re rinsed off. But we’ve had 3 large roaches in our house within the last few weeks and I’m worried more will come. This morning he saw one crawl out of our air vent in the bathroom. I freaked out and taped the air vent cause I didn’t know what else to do.

I’ve checked behind the stove and fridge, all over the kitchen, and there’s no noticeable holes. Only one large hole in the floor near our living room next to the thermostat. This is our first time seeing one come out of a vent as the other two were near our front doors on the wall. But we didn’t know how they got in cause the front doors don’t have any noticeable cracks leading outside.

My husband is thinking of putting mesh screens in the vents but I’m not sure how we’ll secure them, nor if they’re renter friendly.

We did contact our landlord and she said pest control comes every Thursday but other than that she has no clue what to do.

Any and all advice on how to prevent them in our home would be helpful, never dealt with pests like this before and it’s grossing us both out.

I recently moved here from MA. I live in apartment complex so wanted to know where I can bring my kids (6 and 4) to a neighborhood so they can have fun and trick or treat. I live by wilderness oak by 281. I’ve noticed all the house neighborhoods around here are gated communities. Want to see where the friendly housing communities that don’t mind people that aren’t residents joining the Halloween fun

My dog of 14 years suddenly passed away Tuesday night of a very aggressive bacterial infection. She had Addisons disease for the last 6 years that was being managed with Percorten V. I had just refilled the prescription so it is brand new and it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

I just checked with my vet about donating the medicine to a family in need and they do not currently have any dogs on that medication. So I am checking here and am willing to donate the medicine to a family in need. Percorten V isn’t cheap and that is the reason I do not want it to be wasted. I have taken about 2cc, very little for my dogs last treatment but it is basically a full vile of medication.

If your dog has Addisons I’m willing to donate it to a good loving family.

No you can’t not get high off it so only dog owner’s message me. And to vet people I want to see your current bottle of Percorten prescription as proof you have a prescription.
