I want to go to med school.
Major: Biochemistry
Which one is stronger academically? Which one has better opportunities for pre-med? I have been researching both and can't put my finger on one. Academics and pre-med opportunities are the most important thing to me.
Both cost me a fortune-34k$.
I'm trying to find a local college student next year to drive my kids home from school. $30+/day. should take about 45 minutes since they go to school downtown and live north of the airport.
Hi all -- I’m working with a friend to research opportunities to build a better credit building + rewards card for students.
As part of that I'm looking to talk with a few students to do some user research. The goal is to better understand financial apps/products currently uses, and get feedback on some ideas and product designs I'm exploring.
Would anyone here be open to chatting with me? Will take 30mins (via zoom), will pay $20 via Cash App or Venmo for your time. I'm hoping to do 5 interviews over the next two weeks.
The conversations are usually pretty fun. Anyone up for it? If so please fill out this super short form to help with scheduling a time.

Really appreciate the help!
Hi, I’m doing a tour of Trinity soon and was wondering what you would consider the most beautiful spot on campus. Also, best places to study? Thanks!
Anyone here in any aspect of the music department of Trinity? I recently got accepted and was wondering how the music facilities are and how good the professors are. I am planning on majoring in music composition and am mostly curious about the opportunities to have my pieces being performed and/or recorded, and how the school prepares composers to get and deal with commissions.
My credentials are here below:
Special circumstances: I am 25 years old, hispanic, immigrant father from lebanon, and come from poverty/lower-class. I had to drop out of high school to support my family financially (my mother is blind/dad was MIA) and that kind of shaped my life path in a way. Consequently, I don't have SAT/ACT/ high school transcripts.
I currently have a 4.0 with 42 out of 60 credits completed (currently in pre-cal but at the time of applying will be in process of calc II hopefully with still a 4.0)
A letter of recommendation from a math professor who is in charge of teaching math adjuncts (hoping to get more LoR's before the time of applying)
Disabled veteran status from serving in the USAF, participating/responding to a real world operation vs Iran in a combat coded unit and also participating in international affairs regarding the START treaty during this time.
Schoolhouse A: I have 280 hours of education in avionics fundamentals education (Graduated at top % of the class)
Schoolhouse B: 656 hours in Communication/Navigation/Mission Avionics systems education (Graduated at top % of the class)
I am an experienced technician offering years of technical acumen and proven ability to manage and maintain classified and complex systems, team leading, supervising and training staff with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. And ensuring robust security to identify vulnerabilities and protect against unauthorized access, external, and internal threats.
Areas of Expertise:
Removal/installation of avionics components
information security practices
system software & upgrades
Active U.S. security clearance
Troubleshoot complex avionics issues
System/equipment integration
Debriefing and diagnosing pilot reported discrepancies
Expert in RADAR, comm, electrical multiplexing, power control, targeting pod/BLOS modification, AC/DC systems, serial digital multiplexing assembles, wire maintenance, avionics, analog and digital circuits.
I am also hoping to gain a large amount of hours to put down for IT/Software certs I've earned online throughout this process and have some minor volunteer work along with possible undergrad research if approved.
Did anyone attend the event today? If so, how did it go?
I registered for the second session on Feb. 9th. I'm just not sure what to expect so any information would be greatly appreciated!
Does anybody know if there's a specific hour for so?
Hello,
I am currently a student at Trinity and need an interviewee to finish the last stretch of my sociology research paper. If you are a parent to kids from ages 8-18 and would like to participate, please PM me.

Does Trinity deflate or inflate GPA?
Does Trinity have good research opportunities for Pre-med students or other science major students?
Does Trinity have good pre-med advising?
What is Trinity’s matriculation rate to med school? (Doesn’t have to be an exact percentage)
Thank you in advance for reading this and for answering any questions you have the answers to!
Hey all, I'm a (male) law student set to do a summer internship in San Antonio this summer so I'm looking for a place to stay for June and July. If anyone knows of anyone subletting or of a Facebook group or something where people post sublet requests, let me know!
Hey Everyone!
I am a Trinity grad (class of 2010) and owner of a startup that is growing fast. We have 4 openings for onsite account managers for my company and I would love to talk to some recent or upcoming Trinity grads about it.
Here are the locations:
We have a unique business that actually grew during the pandemic and we are very lucky to have the opportunity to hire on so many new people.
If you are entrepreneurial, and interested in learning how to start and run a business, or would like the chance to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company with potential ownership opportunity, please don't hesitate to DM me.
It looks like I may have the opportunity to live in Entrepreneurship Hall (E-Hall), but the one person I know at Trinity hasn't even heard of it. Anyone? What is E-Hall? Other options are Witt-Winn, Calvert, Miller, McLean, Herdon, and Beze. I am a white female. I am a high school soccer player. I will major in business with a concentration in marketing. I am interested in social meeting marketing. I haven't drank or smoked in high school, but wouldn't have a huge issue with a drink or two now and then, but definitely not a partyier (sp?) but like to be social in my free time. Advice on which hall might be the best fit for me?
Have to select what First Year Experience (FYE) course to take and I have no idea based on the short descriptions I have at hand. I have, however, reduced the options to the following: Creative Genius, Monsters: Nightmares We Create, Science Fiction, A Successful Life, and What We Know That Just Ain't So. I don't want to ruin my GPA in the First Semester, but I don't want to be bored either. Any insight/help?
Hi, I was just wondering if there were a trinity university discord for me to connect with tigers!
Hey y'all! Does anyone have any advice on where to smoke to avoid TUPD? or knowledge on where/how they patrol?
Hello, I'm an incoming CS student at Trinity. I have researched alot about the school and there's just one thing I don't know, which is about CS internship chances. So can anyone who's a current alumni or undergrad can inform me this? Thankss
Hi, none of my friends in real life know how to code and don't even try. I'm trying to find a few friends who are serious students and professionals that want to get good. We could use discord or skype to talk about scala and work together. Please let me know if you're interested in learning and practicing scala
Trinity students,
which one of these choices describe you?
Trinity sent out a schedule yesterday, and I have 2 tiger flex classes and 1 hands-on class. The rest are online. I am trying my best to avoid the dorms....
what the hell is up with the TU snap account??? Any current students know??
What dorm did you live in, and what was your experience?
What FYE did you choose?
I'm planning to major in CS and I was wondering if paying 30k+ a year is worth it. Trinity is my second choice right now and the only thing stopping me from accepting is the really high price. I received the Murchison scholarship and an additional $3000 to total to 30k a year worth of scholarships but it's still really high. Any thoughts?
The baseball schedule has 4 games listed this weekend. Three of them list the opponent, but just say "@Austin." How can I find out where they are?
Anyone know any good single restrooms around the library? As in, a one-person bathroom, no other stalls. I gotta go sometimes and get the nervous shits
Today and Tuesday you can vote.
So I revived a free accelerated application from Trinity university, does this mean that I am basically guaranteed to get accepted?
I know they are two totally different college types/experiences.
She really wasn’t interested in Trinity before our tour (for several reasons - mostly it just not feeling like going away to college - we live just outside of SA and having performed in Laurie auditorium several times she just didn’t get a college vibe from Trinity).
That changed when we did a tour. Then she was really interested in Trinity.....until she read the college niche reviews. “Terrible” was the third most popular survey descriptor for the college and the reviews said that the food and dorms are awful.
So I guess I’m asking for you guys to help steer our opinion one way or the other....
Her “profile”
-4.0 (unweighted) gpa - she will have AP credits (and dual credits that Trinity won’t take)
Would she fit in? If you had to pick again would you choose Trinity?
