I’m finishing up my nursing program this April with RDP. My preceptorship starts March and my clinical lead has advised me to figure out my top 3 to get into. Those who go to RDP, in nursing or just have general knowledge… If I request to be placed in Calgary for preceptorship, what’s the likelihood of that? And what field in nursing are good to get into?

I'm moving to red deer today, and am interested in meeting/collaborating with anybody interested in film-making in the general area!

I'm looking for a group of people to just start pumping out little short films or skits or whatever anybody has in mind. I've got lots of ideas, and when I get there there's some things I can start doing on my own, but I'd love to collaborate with some people.

I'm having trouble finding anyone that is able to frame my unfinished basement in Penhold. I already have the plans from the original home builder, however I can't find anyone that will do just the framing, they will only do entire basement renovations start-finish.

I sent my grade 11 grades (89%/3.3 avg) and am awaiting my casper score, but not sure if that’s enough. Let me know if you have extra info!

Hey all so I've been putting off getting work done on my hair/beard for awhile now. Definitely needs a clean up for sure. Problem is I'm not sure where to really look that specializes in BOTH longer hair, and longer beards (approx 1ft for each). I've checked out the Instagram pages of a few of the different barbers around town here, but none of the ones I've found show any work done with long hair, and long beards. Most guys with long beads tend to have short hair, or are bald, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

where in red deer is a good/best place for consulting and surgery? what were/are your experiences?

Hey everyone, hope your day is well. I am not sure if you know, but there is a well known influencer from the Red Deer Alberta area who uses the stage name Jaks Attacks. He uses primarily TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter. He posts primarily LGBTQ+ content, farming content, self help videos, humor, and lip sync videos. He runs his family farm in the country outside of Red Deer. Just letting you Red Deerians know this.

No question this time around, but I wanted to give a shout out to the Oh, Deer podcast. Although I've seen and heard a lot about them on social media and around Red Deer, I have to admit I'd never actually listened to their podcast before.

But, after attending the Business of the Year awards the other day, and seeing how good two of the guys were with their interviews with the winners, I finally listened to an episode... and I have to say, it was pretty good for a local podcast, and the sound/production quality is a lot better than you'd expect.

It's a great mix of local content and random conversations/entertainment, with a local guest every episode. Not only are they surprisingly funny, they're very positive and pump up the community a lot instead of just going for the low-hanging fruit and building on all the negativity that's out there. I'm sure they're not for everyone, but if you haven't listened to them before, I highly recommend giving them a listen for some great local information and entertainment.

I have lived in a condo/townhouse my entire life. Went from growing up in a townhouse, to apartments, to owning one, and I have never had THIS much noise happen and I don’t know what to do.

We had new neighbours move in about 2 months ago, and like clock work everyday starting at 9pm there is on and off banging. Not sure what it could possibly be but it’s at the point where it’s actually keeping us up at night.

What does one do in this situation? I’m not about to tell someone how to live in their own home but at the same, constantly banging on your shared walls at 11pm at night, isn’t very neighbourly!

I thought about going to them and making a point but they aren’t very approachable people, I thought about writing a note or going to the condo board but it just seems very “Karen” like. Any advice???
