Hello everyone! I recently bought some canadian flight coveralls and I was wondering what were those clips on the thighs for? Thanks!
A seller on ebay has them listed for 50$, size markes as 7.
are they originals or reproductions?
Thanks!
Edit: these are US gaiters, 1938
A see a lot of uniforms and medals but very little paperwork. This was given to my Great Grandfather(and all US sailors) when they crossed the equator.
I'm so close to being done with my 1914 German uniform, but I still need a Tornister. I'd like to buy the one found on Soldier of Fortune, but for some reason my card won't let me purchase it there even though I have enough (even considering the USD to EUR exchange rate). The only other seller I found was luckyline1945 on eBay, but I don't trust them since I ordered a canteen from them on November 5th and it hasn't even been shipped yet, and they charge double the price of most sites. Does anyone know of another place to buy one? Price isn't as much of a concern.
Hello, I have a few edged weapons from WW2 and I would like to preserve them well. Does anyone have any tips on how to clean them? Should I use gun oil or not? Any help is appricated.
Another one
Nice one with the Constabulary tab.
I believe this was fired in Afghanistan he took the shell home and managed to track down the exact bullet head and it is now an heirloom
This is my step father's father and, so far I figured out he was in the 4th infantry division, but I've searched for hours and couldn't find anything that could be the crest pin on his shoulder board any help or insight is appreciated. He was enlisted in 1953 and sent to Germany his unit was never deployed into Korea.
