In the recently published official colouring of Ryukugyu, his sword seems to be a black blade
Confirming to many that thought so when he was introduced siting it’s shaded black and it’s visible hamon making it visually similar to Shusui and Yoru the other black blades
What do you think this means for the topic of black blades? And for Ryokugyu?
I’d say we’re close, in One piece terms, to finally having a clear and proper introduction into the topic and how they might be made far more than Mihawk off handedly likening coating a sword in armament haki to his Yoru
And for Ryokugyu I think it means he’s set now to fight Zoro in the future, having a kokuto means he himself is probably a very skilled swordsman with their fight being the way it’s all explained and revealed to us via Ryokugyu explaining it and maybe even Zoro going through the process in the fight of making one of his own and maybe even all his blades into Kokutos
I also hope that people will start taking Ryokugyu more seriously
But what do you think this means? Maybe it changes nothing for you? I’d like you to explain and discuss in the comments

Title: Praise Me
From Pewpiece
Many people claim that crocodile was atleast at the level of mihawk at the time of alabasta, and luffy only won due to the help of Robin and through the power of plot Armor, so was he a victim of early reveal and got scaled down as a reason?
Shanks, Buggy, Crocus, Rayleigh, the Cat and the Dog... On each part of the travel we encounter a Roger guy, who most of the time helps us. It is time for the next one, Scopper Gaban. And probably the last Roger guy we meet.
I see online everyone going crazy about this man being Shiki. Making miniatures even. Shiki already had his story, and was defeated, Shiki will not help us to get the last poneglyph. Shiki is not a friend, he is bad. That is obvious. Crocus wouldn't be so happy to see old man Shiki, c'mon! Gaban went whitish or blondish with time and that's it.
There are more chances for Scopper Gaban to be Silhouette guy and burn scar. both mysterious characters in one. I bet on this theory, check it out, for what I see out there is the one with more chances to hit the jackpot.
- Who is able to "see" Luffy leaving Egghead and says "come". Obviously someone with a crazy amount of haki. like Gaban should have.
- If he has haki like Rayleigh, wouldn't he be able to coat a ship with haki, like we have seen other objects being coated, like weapons, or full bodies like Vergo? Of course.
- A Roger pirate, the pinnacle of strength, could affect the environment with his haki like Big Mom does or Kaidou, creating whirlpools around the ship? Absolutely. Even more if he is drunk, out of control, all silhouette man moments have shown him drinking. Probably he is still emotionally affected by Roger's death, a more sentimental type of character like Sanji, or Denjiro (who had a change of face even when he lost Oden).
- Rayleigh was gambling and coating ships in Shabaody, it wouldn't be weird that Gaban has his illegal business in Elbaf. Who is able to secretly cut chunks of the Adam Tree to sell in the black market, probably with his top of the line haki? Gaban, the guy we have seen multiple times fighting with two wood cutting axes. And then Franky bought this to make the Sunny.
If Oda decides it will be Shiki or whoever random character he wants to be, good. But many clues point to Gaban. And if the burn scars he got from fighting Ace, you got a full jackpot there. Gaban doesn't protect himself because Ace reminds him of Roger, and sees his old captain punching him instead of Ace, ending up full of burning scars, but he doesn't care because he is drunk.
Do people not know about r/memepiece?
which on do you want if you can get?
So I’m on Dressrosa arc and I’m thinking of making a OP analog horror. Does anyone have any advice? I have a couple videos I have in mind.
The Yonkos and Admirals, past and present, for the most part are Devil Fruit Users, along with many anywhere near their level. Yes I know there are exception such as Garp, Shanks, Roger ect. But most One Piece heavy hitters are Devil Fruit users. Some such as Kaido, Black Beard and Big Mom are hated and many people want them dead. And incidentally many of them have HUGE appetites. So if you only need a single bite of a Devil Fruit for it to work, and a 2nd one will kill you, in theory could you make something like a cake for Big Mom, and throw some pieces of Devil Fruit in it and kill them?
Can I watch it after marineford or do I need to watch it before marineford. I'm just too hyped for the arc.
In the latest chapter we learn about Painters which the giant's use to draw rainbows and probably other things. This undoubtedly answers the ~1000 chapter of how Ms Goldenweek's "Color Trap" works.
The craziest part is that this has probably been all planned out by Oda since the beginning, not introduced retroactively to explain her powers. She was introduced in Little Garden after all which also had another callback this chapter with the same explorer's account.
Ms. Goldenweek likely found a lost Painter previously owned by Dorry or Broggy or their crew and figured out how to use it. With no instructions manual I imagine she wouldn't be able to unleash the Painter's full potential (creating giant rainbows namely). I also wouldn't be surprised if Color Traps aren't really used by giants. By being a total outsider to the tool, she had to just mess around with it and that may have drawn out an uncommon use.
Anyway I've always loved Ms. Goldenweek's powers so it's really cool to see Oda potentially revisiting them in this arc!
