I don’t know anything about gaming PCs

I’ll be the 1st to admit I don’t know anything about these systems but I’m definitely intrigued by them. I’m a ps5 player and I love it. BUT everyone I know that has switched to PC has told me there is no other gaming experience like it. I want one badly now. I know they can get very very pricey. So my questions are : Can I play outlast trials or warzone on this one, with good/excellent result? As in no lag, decent graphics? Will most steam games run on this well? If not then can someone recommend one that is 1000$ or less? I don’t need anything crazy fancy. Just want one to have a good time gaming on. Sorry for the long read .

Opinions on this monitor?

It’s kind of throwing me off that it’s using AI to show it off, but I’m wondering if anyone has this monitor and if it’s good

Looking for a new PC

I’ve been looking to buy a new gaming PC for a bit and was wondering if the R16 is a decent option? I’ll be selling my current PC for about $750 CAD to a friend so I’ll use that as a ‘discount’ on the new one. Price is just under $2,600 CAD with tax etc, I’ve looked at CyberpowerPC but most of their builds have a 4060 and I’ve heard it is worth just getting the 4070+. Any other opinions would be appreciated

Thoughts? First gaming pc

I’m not sure if links are allowed but if they are I can link it, just wondering if this is good for playing heavily modded Minecraft servers, PUBG and baldurs gate 3? Most games I want to play are multiplayer ones if that helps :) thanks!

Built my first gaming PC! Couldn’t be more stoked.

Case: NZXT H9 Elite Mobo: ROG Strix B650 gaming wifi6e CPU: Ryzen 7800x3D GPU: Gigabyte AERO GeForce RTX 4070ti super PSU: Corsair 850 shift series Liquid Cooler: Corsair ICUE Link Titan 360(swapping for NZXT, want to control all the lights from one app) RAM: T Force 64GB 6000 C38 (couldn’t find the white 64GB 6000 C30 anywhere) SSD: Samsung 990 pro 2tb

Plan on adding 3 RGB fans to the bottom and replacing rear fan with RGB fan

Runs like a champ and barely breaks a sweat

Back story: bought a cyberpower pre built from Best Buy with an i9 14900kf, heard the horror stories, returned it. Decided to my build my own, glad I did. PS long time console gamer..

Upgrade my cpu?

Ok so this is my current cpu and earlier this year I upgrade my graphics card and now I want to upgrade my cpu. I was wondering on what kind I should get? And how to tell if what I’m looking at buying is compatible with my current pc? Advice is much appreciated :)

Cpu

PSA, i didn't think it would happen to me but here we are. I bought this 7800x3D online for fairly cheap, put together my AM5 build and goto start the PC and it won't do a single thing other than turn on the fans. I check out the debug LEDs, it's stuck on CPU. I guess this 7800x3d is a fake.

Watch out who and where you buy from

Did I overpay for this Gaming Pc 750$

SPECS RYZEN 9 5900x 32 GB DDR4 ASUS ROG B550. RTX 2070 2 1tb Samsung M.2's NZXT H5 ELITE CASE NEW NZXT 280MM Rog strix b550f gaming

Also Came with

AlienWare 240hz Monitor 24.5" As well as steel series apex pro 2023 keyboard Let me know if I need to include any more info, I’m pretty unknowledgeable to specs, I sort of felt like maybe I didn’t buy for what I needed as it’s mostly for school but I had to also buy a WiFi adapter and may have to buy a Bluetooth adapter but those were easy fixes.

My first build!

Just finished my first build and I’m pretty happy with it! Rtx 4070 super with the usual good stuff.

Couple of questions - do I need a fan hub to sync up the fans, ram and liquid cooling fans?

How can I hide the graphics card cable better? I have used what was supplied with the card and power supply but it looks messy with the connectors in the middle. I do have a fully modular PS so could I just get a cable to go straight to the power?
