So I’ve fully transitions over to CK3 and I can’t seem to find out how to remove the subscription that gives you all the packs for CK2. Do I just remove the game from my steam? Or can I get rid of just the subscription alone?
Sorry for my bad English. To be honest I don't like "We do not sowe" words. I wanted more house Leviathan things. When people heard is must be a terror and fear things. Sorry for my bad English again.
I have been trying to find bookmark submod that adds start after the end of the TV show but it seems there is none on Citadel site.
Is there any such mod available?
I'm running More bloodlines 2.2, the dragon's peace, bigger interface, rich childhood, and visible health and fertility and my game keeps crashing. I think the crashes have been more prevalent since I started running The dragon's peace but I really enjoy that submod so I was hoping there'd be a fix.
The error log reads: "[character.cpp:2361]: Trying to add non-existent modifier negative_money to character (ID: 999012505 )"
I tried Azreal's fix found here but it causes a bunch of other errors so I'm assuming it's not more bloodlines friendly.
I've already deleted the hl_nomadevents that a lot of people recommend.
Apparently erbkaiser's bugfix fixed it but I think it's outdated, does anyone know if this is still compatible?
If anyone has alternative fixes I'd really appreciate it.
How do I readd the base game artifacts? I want to do this because my kings don't have enough choices of drip
So I'm playing as the Targaryens post daenerys, and I'm messing around in the files trying to reintroduce the crowns from base game back into the game of thrones (specifically crown_hre, crown_pahlavi, crown_fylkir, crown_byzantine and crown_zun_fylkir).
I have managed to get them into the game, and in the inventory, they have the correct picture and stats, but on the character they look like Baelor's flower crown. I'm guessing this has something to do with a flag attached to the artifact (but I can't seem to find it in the crown_artifacts file), so which folder would this be in? Both for the base game and the game of thrones folder so I can copy between the 2.
Also lmk if I should be asking this on r/ck2modding instead
New to the game, love it, thanks for any help!
TLDR: My daughter is in a matrilineal arrangement with the heir to Starfall and The Elbow. What exactly happens when her child (my grandchild) takes over?
I'm playing a custom character, head of a cadet Targarygen branch (Goldyfre) based in Blackmont. I started around 196 I believe, and also had the title to Vulture's Spring.
I managed to betrothe my daughter in a matrilineal marriage to a Dayne who is the heir to both Starfall and The Elbow. I was very surprised this was an option, which makes me unsure about what exactly this means.
As a matrilineal marriage, their children will be born to House Goldfyre, yes? And more importantly, when the heir (my grandson) takes over, the country will belong to my dynasty, correct?
Or is that wrong? They won't be my vassal, I don't think--will they be a cadet branch to me? Will they have any connection to me at all?
Quick unrelated question: as Lord of a Dornish country, I can see factions in my lands and factions in Dorne; is there a way to see factions in the rest of Westeros? I could see them in my previous playthrough as Ned Stark (I'm thinking it's because until recently Dorne was independent but is now back under control of the Throne, I'm hoping if I went and checked now I'd see them all)
Mine would be now (at 22):
Depressed, stressed, homosexual, honest, kind, shy, socialiser, content, groomed, cynical, stubborn, weak, temperate, lustful, family person
15/16 year old me traits:
Depressed, stressed, weak, drunkard, trusting, lustful, wroth, deceitful, stubborn, socialiser, kind, charitable, rude, selfish, cruel, slothful, berserker, groomed
I quite liked doing this though, it shows how much I’ve changed from when I was 15/16 and going through through a bad period in my life for a few years - very cathartic. I’m not proud of the person I became during that time, but doing this actually showed me how much I’ve changed as a person and that does make me feel better. I don’t think it’s quite as basic as this in reality, because I can still get envious sometimes and even when I was going through that bad period I think i was still kind and stuff, it was just overshadowed by my behaviour
I just saw the post with the pre-conquest maps, and I realized I have not tried a game that early yet. I prefer to try to start from the bottom and build slow, so does anyone have any recommendations for a lordship (count-level) start in any of the pre-conquest bookmarks?
For some reason with Congenital Overhaul it isn't saving, it isn't a issue with any other sub-mod as I tried it with only the AGOT mod and it doesn't save and crashes, Could anyone tell me how to fix this issue as I love CO and it's traits but it just keeps crashing
Hey there guys! Coming back to CK2 due to being disappointed in CK3, I have a question regarding if you know if the submod making the whole Westeros balkanised during the Andal invasion still exists. I remember playing it and enjoying it a lot, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere anymore. Could you please help? Thanks!
Anyone know the Ethnicity id for a valyrian dothraki a-la Rhaego?
In my house Gardener game the Kingdom of the Rock, the Stormlands and my Kingdom of the reach Just pummeled the Iron islands and now they are barely stronger than the Lords of the CrackClaw point
Has anybody ever had a war go on really long like it seems like it’s taking forever? If so tell me about it
Hey I have a question how to stop cadet houses from legitimizing? Is it possible to change it permanently and how? So I searched for information on this topic and even found something and tried to change it myself, but it didn't work out for me, because the option is still there. I don't know what to do anymore, I hope someone here will help me. Have a nice day!!!
EDIT: A little note for anyone who sees this. First, when I used the Aegon invasion event when he was in my court, I saw the message but the invasion never began, he just stayed put. More interestingly, after Robert died and Joff took the throne, he messaged me and said I was harboring Daenerys, a rebel, and I had to turn her over. I didn’t, we warred.
TLDR: Are Dany and Aegon "normal" characters if you start in between The Crowned Stag and ACOK bookmarks or will they still be on track to invade at some point; will anything in-story or game-breaking happen if I console command them to my court in Winterfell (like Robert declaring war on me)?
Longtime asoiaf fan who has been playing this game for about a week, it's truly amazing! A few questions...
I set a custom start date to 294. I'm Ned Stark. I decided I want to play him as a secret Targ loyalist. But these questions are general to any play through starting around this time.
First, can Aegon/Dany invade at some point, or will those events only fire off if you start at/between the ACOK or AFFC bookmarks? And if they can occur any time those characters are in the game, is there anything that would prevent it? Like, I'm assuming either of them could die, or marry an Essosi noble and simply not invade?
Also, is it an all or nothing? Can just Dany or just Aegon invade, or will the whole event be impossible if one of them can't join? What if one or both of them are already in Westeros (more on that in a sec)? If you console command their invasion event, will they revolt or something? Or will it just not work?
Moving on from that, I'm tempted to use console commands to bring one or both of them to my court in Winterfell. Will this cause any unforeseen problems? My main question is, will Westeros, especially Robert Baratheon, react in any way? Like, will he accuse me of harboring Targaryens?
Finally, I only looked at him briefly, but (f)Aegon doesn't have his parentage and isn't a Targaryen, or a Blackfyre. Actually I'm not even sure if he's labeled as a bastard. Is there a way to change this, like Jon's parentage reveal, or does he "declare" himself as part of the invasion event?
Thanks for any help!
It's a shame he stopped himself
So as Bronn I was able to usurp Rosby and now I rule Stokeworth AND Rosby so what should I make this land?
My ideas are kinda bad so I need help
Context: Tazal Crawley is my half-brother (legitimized) I married him to his half-sister Alynna (bastard), his cousin and one of the last Rogare. So what happens, first I get the message about Ixsacc's death and then Alynna's death. Reviewing, I realize that Ixsacc died in an "accident" and that Alynna is a family killer, so I understood that Tazal discovered her and ordered her death.
Just please, is it a curse that at some point they become relative killers? I try as best I can to give them good tutors so that they have good attributes, but...
I've played a few other factions, but trying an Ironborn playthrough during Roberts Rebellion. They are pretty fun with interesting new options. One thing that I've noticed is that I seem to lose battles even with top notch generals and numerical superiority.
My guess is it's because I have almost no heavy calvary and my foes (the Reach and Crown lands) do. However I couldn't confirm this theory via Google, does anyone have ideas why my armies are not performing well?
For now, I've been playing to their strengths, raiding and running away when an army approaches. However raiding Qarth was a mistake because a unit of 500 men, must have been unsullied, sent my 8k+ unit of raiders packing...
Sorry for my bad English. What should be words of house Reyne? I thınk it must be prodly words.
