Is anyone very disappointed in both the allure and dermstore december boxes. I was expecting to be blown away by at least one this Christmas and they both suck

It can be anything you're excited for, not just beauty boxes. Writing the names of the sub box in **bold** is nice, to make it easier for people skimming the thread to pick out the names.
besides scentbird! i know about that one. I'm talking more like a handful of smaller samples per month.
So I ordered my advent calendar about 2 weeks ago (November 17) and and the only update I have since then is “order processed” but it’s been 2 weeks and there has been zero updates since then. And i am starting to worry that I might not get it.
I got it as a Christmas for my bf and it was the “big gift” gift i got him this year and now i’m starting to think i wont get it.
Get to know the community more! Anything (well almost anything) goes!
This box isn't talked about much, but I've been subscribed since Subscription Sisters did an unboxing earlier this year and I'm impressed. All products are also 100% cruelty-free and vegan. Before now I was subbed to Kinder Beauty until they disappeared into the void without a trace last year. It's also "clean beauty" if you're into that but personally I'm mainly into the cruelty-free aspect.
This year they have a BF sale where you can build a custom box of 8 products for $79 + free shipping.
Here's what I got:
You also have to buy the custom box first and then you get directed to the page to pick your products. The selection page for picking your products isn't the easiest to use (doesn't show the prices etc) so I had to Google all the products I was interested in, but I total this up to $298 which is really good.
All of the products are from previous boxes so I got to repurchase some empties I was gonna buy anyway. I really love the Flora & Bast clarifying treatment (combo skin friendly) and that product alone is more than the cost of the entire box so I'm pretty happy with this!
Found this on the site if anyone is interested.
Almost bought this on the Elemis site to take advantage of their free gift, but MUCH happier with buying two for $40 on Ipsy rather than 1 for $94!!
This will be my 4th time getting their annual subscription, but my first time actually getting the BF deal. I couldn’t pass up the deal given that we have the option to skip whichever monthly box we don’t want (I also live in a state with no sales tax, so that was another added savings).
Another justification I give myself is that this actually saves me money in the long run whenever I need gifts for birthdays, holidays, etc. I just reuse the allure boxes and items to create custom boxes!
I told myself I wouldn’t fall prey to anything BF this year, but this was just too good to pass. I’m so excited to be part of the Allure BB team again ❤️
Hola! Soy de España, no sé si habrá alguien jajajajaja. Quiero encontrar cajas de suscripción que estén bien.
Hi! I'm from Spain and I'm looking for subscription boxes that are good.

And I LOVE IT!!!!
I've read through some older posts about different beauty subscription boxes, but I'm looking for newer opinions based on the latest boxes.
I've recently been more into makeup and perfumes, so I'm trying to just up my collection and try some new products/brands. I'm not too into skincare as I already have a routine provided by my dermatologist. I'd be more interested in a box with more make up than skin care, I don't wear eye shadows and focus more on the "clean girl" look. What boxes would you recommend that aren't too pricey? TIA:))
