I'm going to get 3ml to do my face. I'm going to get 1ml to lips and 1ml to my chin. What should I do with the last ml?
Anyone who does beauty aesthetics please. I got dermal nose filler from a practitioner. I wasn’t really made aware of the risks involved and my consultation was really rushed. As soon as she did it I noticed a white circle appear at the tip of my nose. I pointed it out to her and she told me not to worry and it’s probably because “I’m really pale and my nose was cold”. Wasn’t checked over and when I was asking questions she said she needed to see the next client. I waited for her to be finished, and went back in and asked her again if everything was okay and she reassured me. Went home and woke up that night in alot of pain coming from my nose. Messaged her again saying the tip was still white and again she said it was totally normal. It wasn’t until i did my own research that I realised it could be vascular occlusion and is a medical emergency. I message her early morning Saturday expressing my concerns and again in the evening but she didn’t get back to me until the late evening. told me I needed to get it dissolved today and the closest place I could get it done was an hour and a half away and I couldn’t see her until after 9 o clock at night. I turned up at some women’s flat, and when i asked what was in the dissolver she couldn’t tell me. Which felt very dodgy and unprofessional. I thought it was over and done with but she says I might have to have more dissolved. I’ve been in so my Agony the past 4 days, haven’t been sleeping, really anxious and stressed. And also really self conscious because my nose it’s completely red and swollen. I’ve also lost money because I had to call in sick because of this and I don’t get sick pay. Can’t help but feel this all of been avoided if she dissolved it after my nose showed signs that a vessel was blocked when I first got it done, and checked me over before I left. It just felt like she wanted to get people in and out to make as much money as possible. My question is she liable for this happening? And am I able to claim back compensation and get reimbursed for the days work I’ve lost out on? I really do feel she didn’t care about my health and well being and this wouldn’t have happened if she did her job properly and took action when something was very clearly wrong.
TDLR: I am looking for a natural/low coverage body makeup product that is healthy for the skin, preferably with SPF.
My lovely mom is very upset with the mosquito bite scars that she has all over her arms and legs. The mosquitos love her and she picks at her bites until they scab. She often asks me what skincare products to use to get rid of them, and I tell her what to use and not pick- but if I'm being honest, she is not consistent with skincare and is very impatient. She wants a quick fix. Im not interested in buying a high coverage tattoo-covering body concealer for my mom- I don't want to poke at an insecurity and have her feel the need to paint her body. Instead, I am looking for a practical product that is healthy and safe for her scabbed skin and scars, and provide a teeny bit of coverage to make her feel less insecure about the scars. Something like a tinted SPF for the body, but I feel that would transfer all over clothes, as most body makeup does.
Also- any suggestions for my anxious mom to stop picking at her mosquito bites? 🤣 I wonder if they make cute little stickers for mosquito bites like they do for pimples.
Thank you if you read till the end 🤟❤️😊
Hello! I am planning to order from CultBeauty next month and I'm nervous about the order which is not quite cheap. People I know have told me that their orders went fine, but I really want to be sure. I currently live in Belgium btw.
Could be anything that elevates your appearance! Let's hear it!
Eyelashes grow "into each other/into the eyes" at the corners of the eyes
Hi everyone
Maybe a strange topic, but I have eyelashes that grow "into each other" as well as "into the eyes" at the corners of my eyes.
This means that it sometimes "pokes" at the inner corner of the eye, and that my lashes at the outer corner of the eye are stuck together when I wear mascara (a bit à la small velcro hooks).
Does anyone know if there is a solution for ingrown eyelashes other than plucking them regularly?
Thanks in advance!
does anyone have any recommendations for where to order korean beauty products in the US? i’m really interested in trying the laneige neo blurring powder and i thought they’d sell it at sephora bc they have other leneige products but they don’t seem to sell it at any US retailer i can find. i haven’t gotten many korean beauty products before, so i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get the best prices and ensure that they’re real products. thank you !!
I've been thinking about this a lot. My older sister has always been one to get hit on and asked out. She is an extrovert and I'm an introvert. I've had maybe one person ask me out when I was working at a thrift store and I politely declined simply because I wasn't interested in dating at that time (rough time in my life), but I was very flattered that they approached me and even thanked them for conversing with me (they seemed pretty happy and comfortable about it, too). I think I'm an approachable person, people always tend to come to me for life advice ever since I was a kid. The thing is, I've been talking to my sister a lot and she keeps telling me about all the kinds of people who ask her out. I'm 23 and have only been asked out.... once :D! I understand that it takes more to be attractive than just the physicals, but I was just wondering about it lately, I guess. I take care of myself and make sure I'm well groomed and I'm pretty big on hygiene. I'm more reserved, but doesn't mean that I'm awkward to talk to... at least that's what people have told me. People tend to stare at me, but I get the feeling like something's up or maybe I have something on my face (occasionally I do get somewhat bad, red breakouts). A lot of older women that I know compliment me, but considering that few people ever ask me out boldly like they have for my sister (where even complete strangers do) and just ask me questions about myself and hold basic conversations about life with me I think the older ladies just do it out of pity? I have no idea. Honestly, I know I look decent. Like I'm at least okay, you know? And I wouldn't get offended if someone thought otherwise, but I'm just curious why anyone might think about me with the fact that people tend to talk to be a lot but don't ask me out. people seem interested to talk to me, but it never goes beyond being friendly.
so I have seen this brand a couple of times already and a lot of my friends got it from this local spa we frequent.
The results shocked me, to say the least. but it’s so expensive. I have used pricey creams before but I never heard of this brand except from this spa and my friends. I'm really inclined to purchase it but I want to hear from people about their experience because of the price point.
(By the way, I’m talking about the non-surgical eye solution cream)

Hello, I’m looking for a moisturizer that’s gentle enough for extremely sensitive skin (I’m on Accutane).
My skin flares up really easily and is dry atm. It also breaks out easily however I don’t have any active acne right now, since I’m not using anything.
The etude house soon jung hydro barrier cream (the lighter one, in the jar) irritated my skin, and the Klair’s midnight blue calming cream gave me acne. Just to give you an idea of how volatile my skin is.
I’ve tried tons of products in the past but I just cannot seem to find something that works with my problematic skin
All help is appreciated, thank you in advance :)
I have 2 or 3 of these stupid mousse products that I am trying to "tan-tour" with and I don't know if I'm supposed to be doing a thousand layers or somehow leaving it on overnight without touching my pillow or what but it's not noticeable for more than like a day.
Would I be better off using a lotion or a gel so I can really lay it on thick and just putz around the house for a few hours? Does anyone with cool-toned skin have a recommendation for a self-tanner they love that you don't have to apply every/every other day?
Hi everyone, I want buy in Japan good products for face, but idk japan language. I want Japan people or who go before japan recommend products. What I need: Cleaning, serum with niacinamide, centella, bha, aha. Toner, cream. [mask too]
Despite lurking in these subs and watching endless videos I still know sweet FA about make up and can't manage to copy any of these looks on to myself, and I'm sick of not being able to make myself look nice. A big struggle I have is my base, I just can't find a foundation that suits me.
I was thinking if a make up counter that offers make overs can do a basic look for me, it will point me in the right direction? MAC seems like a baseline for some other brands, like if you know your shade in MAC you can more easily find matches in other brands right?
Is there anything I should know/make sure to ask at the appointment or get the most out of it? Or anyone been to one of these and can share their experience? I'm so nervous that they'll think I'm an idiot for not knowing the basics.
Hello!
What’s a good chemical exfoliant for sensitive skin?
Good moisturizer & toner?
I’ve been using CreaVè face wash, Belif aqua bomb moisturizer, aqua bomb moisturizing toner, and moisturizing eye bomb & aquaphor for my lips. I went to Sephora to get more moisturizer and they don’t carry Belif products in store anymore. Not sure why! Is it bad or something?
The lady at Sephora sold me on Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant when I told her I wanted a chemical exfoliant. I used after my shower and I had a severe allergic reaction.
I started my skin care routine journey a 9 months ago. I used to use a plastic stubbie on my face! I’ve never really know a whole bunch about skin care. Now I don’t use any exfoliants on my face. I have really bad acne. I think it was in part to using a coconut oil treatment after I showered every day. Now I put some in and leave it in then rinse it in the shower. Also not drinking enough water. Since making those two switches, my acne has gotten better. I don’t wear makeup. I do use a color corrector on my acne sometimes.
Thanks for reading & any feedback!
Hello, my skin is sensitive and even more so now that I’m on EPURIS (a milder form of accutane).
I’m looking to build a skincare routine that includes:
I’m looking for products that are gentle, fragrance free, suitable for sensitive skin, and won’t trigger a breakout.
If anyone could give me some recommendations, that would be amazing as I’m really struggling to find the right products for me - there’s just so many and it’s overwhelming.
Thanks in advance!
anybody know about/ use Chattecialle makeup or skincare. It’s such a niche; in stores I never see anyone buying it and in the social works no one talks about it - I’m just wondering who actually uses the product?
