Seems like this is going to be a yearly occurrence. They keep raising the prices.But honestly, i'm not seeing any difference in the quality of the products i'm receiving. At this point I just don't feel like it's worth the $32 plus the shipping.

My shipments (multiple deliveries from the Ipsy shop) are sitting as shipping label created since November 27th and on..I'm not so worried about my glam bag, just my other orders for gifts..I didn't realize it may be affected by the postal strike.. Any Canadians here having luck with receiving packages?

I've been considering getting a glam bag subscription for my teen niece for Christmas. Anyone know why the gift subscription is more expensive than if I just sign her up and then cancel after 3 months? Seems wrong to charge more just because it's a gift.

Hey ya'll I'm a 18yr male so makeup is not my area of expertise lol. However I wanted to get something nice for my sister (16yr) this year.

She is fairly into beuty products, but often doesn't have the funds to get nice ones. So I was thinking this might be a good way to get her those with her being able to personlize it. Is Ipsy in the catagory of "nicer more fancy" makeup products? If not where and what should I get her?

Purchased the Huda Beauty Glowish Skin Tint in FAIR COOL. Does that look fair to you? It looks medium to me. Not even a light shade.

Consistently disappointed in the ipsy shop purchases. The packaging is broken or something to where I wonder sometimes why I even look at the shop. This foundation oxidized so bad it turned dark from what should be a super pale color. That or the foundation shade range is completely off. Really upset about this.

So I guess just FYI this happened with the batch of glowish skin tints that ipsy received from Huda. Not good :(

I use to subscribe long ago but ended my subscription due to the abundance of makeup bags. Who needs 12 tiny makeup bags every year? I really want to join again because I did like what came monthly other than the bags. Do they still send bags every month? Or do they allow you to opt out?

It's finally happened. I'm so disappointed in my Boxycharm this month that I'm actually considering canceling (or, more likely, a pause). I know it's the nature of how Ipsy and other boxes work that not every month is going to be great so I keep that in mind but I just...look I just really really didn't want to get stuck with the bleeping Dermalectives.

I had a Dermalectives cleanser in a box a few months ago that I wasn't impressed with. The packaging was heavy and (imo) ugly and the nozzle kept jamming. The formula irritated my face. No thank you. My dislike for this brand is honestly bringing the whole box down this month.

The Other Ipsy Pick:

Lys Eyebrow Pencil: I can always use brow pencils. It's not an exciting inclusion in the box, but I'll definitely use it so at least there's that.

My Picks:

Dew of the Gods Pomeglaze Pomegranate + Retinol Facial Oil: Dew of the Gods is one of those brands that I'll grab anytime the opportunity is there. I've never tried something from that brand that I didn't fall in love with. I got The Theory Retinol Cream in a box last year and I've purchased it a few times since then. I also love the Sorbae lip butters.

Natasha Denona Rose & Wood Eyeshadow Palette: Oh. Yay. Another rose-nude eyeshadow palette. This will probably end up in someone's Christmas stocking.

Da Lish Cosmetics Lip Balm: Like the brow pencil, I can always use more lip balm. It's just a disappointing addition. I can get a perfectly acceptable lip balm at Target for under $5. So its fine, but it's meh.

And I know, I know, they're my "picks" but the extra frustrating aspect is that these were what I felt were the best options. I haven't bought a mascara or a hair mask in years because of how often I get them in boxes. I do NOT need more mascara or hair masks (or facial oil, but I'll make an exception for Dew of the Gods).

Add-ons:

I behaved because I went a little overboard during the Black Friday sale BUT I have a work trip coming up in February and I don't want to check a bag, so I'm loading up on TSA-friendly options for my carry-on.

Toyfactory Oatbae Oil Makeup Remover: My face loves milky cleansers, hyaluronic acid, and oat. Looking forward to trying this one out.

Byroe Chamomile Tea Face Cleanser: Byroe is another brand I will pretty much insta-add to any box when given the chance. I'm currently obsessed with the hydrangea tea oil. My face has responded well to chamomile cleansers in the past and I'm looking forward to giving this one a spin too.

i’ve been racking up points and have 600 expiring tomorrow but i don’t like anything this month offers for the points. a lot of it are also repeats from the prior months. any suggestions as to what i should do? or should i just let those points expire 😣

So I want to gift my daughter a subscription for Christmas, but what I would really like to do is to wrap the first glam bag. When I try to do a gift subscription it’s asking me for her email address which I understand, but I don’t want her to receive the email until after she’s opened the gift. Is there any way to do this?
