Hi all! Seeking recommendations for bars that play a mix of house/techno but not necessarily through ticketed events — do any exist ?? I see similar questions have been asked here a number of times but wanted to see if opinions have changed at all. Ideally someplace that wouldn't be overwhelming to a person who is new to the edm/techno scene and just wants to dance🙂
I am looking to get homeowners insurance, and probably bundle 2 cars and looking for a reliable and quality insurance broker for the metro Atlanta area. Any recommendations?

Anyone have any recommendations on where to order custom sized windows ? I have a project that has brick veneer and will be replacing windows, but all the sizes aren’t sold at stores so will need to order them
Have an 06 Element that seems to have a parasitic drain (but I'm not a mechanic). New battery and the alternator is fine per AAA tech, but the battery has totally died twice after sitting "off" overnight with nothing left on/plugged in.
Wanted to know if anybody had a recommendation for a place nearby West End that they would trust to diagnose this issue without breaking the bank.
Thanks in advance
I'm married with two adult children living in other states...we don't have a complicated financial situation and everybody gets along with everybody else. I'd rather avoid the online software solutions but i still don't want to pay $$$ for a fairly simple document. Anyone you all could recommend?
Long shot but does someone know where i can buy an expensive/quality bellydancing skirt? I have two friends with birthdays coming up who have interest in belly dancing and id prefer a quality skirt vs one from amazon. Willing to drive outside the perimeter slightly if there's a decent places with good options..
Hi Atlanta reddit! I want to get some little tiny toys for my kid's advent calendar instead of sweets this year, and it occured to me that a great way to do that cheaply would be those old-school mechanical coin operated toy machines. Remember the kind where you put the quarter in and turn the dial and a random toy pops out like a gumball machine? But I can't seem to remember where I've seen those around. Does anyone know of a spot that has some? Preferably a whole lot so I can get a wide variety. I'm thinking maybe an old Kroger that hasn't been remodeled, a laundromat, or an arcade might have some but I don't have a lot of time to go driving around to different places. Preferably ITP. Any ideas?
Looking for a Cat Groomer in the Marietta/Cumberland area. Seems like there are no groomers in this area anymore and the ones that do mobile service don't operate outside the perimeter. Anyone know of any good cat groomers not to far from the Marietta/Cumberland area?
Hello everyone - I recently purchased two posters that are 48x32. I cannot find any prefabricated frames to fit them and was looking for an inexpensive place to take them. I only paid 20 dollars for each poster and don't want to spend a whole lot of money to have them framed. Can anyone suggest an establishment within 285 or not that far out that will do a decent job?

Anyone know of a Polynesian store in or near ATL? I’m looking for a puletasi.
Hi I am looking for Bollywood/indian dance classes for adults (I am in my early 20s), preferably near Midtown. I would like to meet other young Indians in the area who love to dance!
Does anyone know if there is any indoor basketball place in Cumming, GA where adults also play? Most of the places I have seen have youth and kids league which doesnt suit me.
Looking to gift something that won't end up in a landfill for two different families that are close friends. One has a 16yo boy and the other family is 10 (almost 11) and 8 yo boys. There's always stuff like an aquarium or zoo membership but they've done that a lot already. Looking for something different that would be fun for the whole family. Both families are of the nerdy persuasion (think Harry Potter, Lotr, Star Wars...) so anything along those lines would be great. I've done a lot of googling and most of the family things I'm seeing suggested are geared more towards families with younger kids. Just looking for something unique this year.
I’ve found what appears to be a lost dog in the Belvedere Park area, near Covington Highway. The dog was friendly and seemed to have matted or wet fur across their face. They ran off before I could capture them. They have a blue aztec printed collar, but with no tag on it as far as I remember.
Does anyone know where to find peach Nehi in North Atlanta or North OTP? I've been to several Walmarts, Krogers, and Publix without luck.
Any body got any good recommendations? I'm on an HOA board and need to find someone who can service our community. And God help me going through Angies List...
I’m looking for recommendations for a spot to have some t-shirts hemmed.
Willing to drive, so location isn’t an issue.
Thanks in advance
Hello /r/Atlanta!
It's that time of year again—our annual gift exchange! 🎁 First off, I want to apologize for posting this later than usual. Life has been a bit hectic this year, but I’m excited to get things rolling now and hope this exchange will be better than ever.
Let’s talk logistics: Over the years, this exchange has grown significantly (thank you all!), and I’ve realized that Reddit’s messenger and chat system isn’t the best for organizing something on this scale. This year, I’d like to try using Elfster, a free and user-friendly platform specifically designed for gift exchanges.
Why Elfster?
How it works:
Important Dates:
The shorter signup window this year is due to the later start, but the exchange itself will last a full month to give everyone plenty of time to find matches and send out gifts.
If you’d like to join, leave a comment below or message me, and I’ll send you the link to join the Elfster exchange.
Past Exchanges: Check out these collages from previous years to see what it’s all about: 2020 | 2021 | 2023
Looking forward to another great year of exchanging gifts and spreading joy within our community! Let’s make it the best one yet.
Happy gifting, Th30be
edit: As always, the price point is around 15 USD but this has not stopped people from spending more.
edit 2: If you are someone that participated last year and did not get a gift, please let me know. I will exclude those people from signing up again.
Edit 3: On how to use Elfster for this particular exchange, I suggest writing a blurb of your interests, allergies, anything you can't have on Google docs or something similar and using the custom wish item and adding the link to the google doc to that.
Are there any run clubs in Buckhead or within a quick drive away that does runs before 8 am?

Just curious if there’s cool spots in ATL for lesbians and other queer women and gnc folk to hang out, and especially to meet people! I’m not opposed to nightlife (I usually enjoy it) but I’ve never fully clicked with MSR. I think it feels like there’s always a show or event going on and it’s hard to meet people when there’s rarely any time set aside for people to just dance and socialize. Recommendations of all kinds welcome, thanks in advance!
looking to get my mother-in-law (avid chess player) chess lessons for an xmas gift. looking for in-person.
Does anyone know where there’s Sunday evening trivia in or near Atlanta?
My brother's dog is missing from the Kirkwood area. Her name is Coco. She could be around madison yards, or beltline area.
If anyone has seen her or finds please contact me!
Hi! I need a vintage pair of Vivienne Westwood wooden and leather Ballerina Rocking Horse shoes restored. Since these are quite the unique shoe, I was hoping to get recommendations for reputable cobblers that you've personally used for specialty items like this. TYIA!
