Hey all! Not sure if anyone has experience with this - we adopted a cat last week (shoutout to Lifeline Animal Project) and he unfortunately peed in the carrier on the drive home.
I’ve tried cleaning numerous times with the Nature’s Miracle cat urine remover spray and with the bissell green machine, but unfortunately the smell is persistent. I have a CRV with leather perforated seats so I think the urine soaked through the holes. Does anyone have recommendations for Atlanta based specialists I could go to next? Open to deep cleaning options or, if all hope is lost, seat foam replacement. Is there coming back from this?
Appreciate the help!
Hi Guys,
I've been researching jazz bars/clubs in Atlanta or even restaurants that have Jazz for the past couple of weeks. It doesn't seem like Atlanta has that great of a Jazz scene. I'm wondering if anyone's heard of somewhere I can go on Valentine's Day night that will have jazz. Or any lowkey restaurants, hotels, or bars that have jazz regularly that I don't know about. I know City Winery has something that night but I am exploring my options and would love some recommendations.
Thanks
Are there any theaters in or near Atlanta that shows old/throwback movies? Like movies that have been popular in the past such as Marvel movies? I’ve seen theaters in other states show past movies on certain days of the week as a series and wondering if there’s anything like that here.
[Claimed] 8pm showtime. Orchestra seats. DM me if you want them.
Hey guys — ᵕ̈ I’m new to this so not positive on how all of this works! BUT, can anyone direct me to a place where I can get “Tanghulu” in Atlanta right now? TIA 🫶🏼
I am trying to fix the rear axel on my bike, it snapped in half. Was definitely a fun 2 mile walk back home. I am looking for a shop that would be able to fix it/replace it without spending my entire paycheck.
Looking for a great intown psychiatrist for 11 year old for medication management.
Also welcome any negative feedback about providers and practices, along with any learnings you have and tips.
Used to have a guy for this, but not anymore.
Need my thermostat replaced, coolant flushed, and possibly my water pump replaced.
Any recommendations for the best veneers dentist in Atlanta? Thank you!

We're looking for someone who does AV box installation and will work with plaster walls for a new tv! This is to hide a large Samsung one connect box.
Title says it all. I'm in Ormewood.
Hi, I've suffered with TMD pain for over a decade. I have a strong overbite, and I had braces as a kid which messed up my teeth instead of fixing my jaw. The pain's been getting worse with age, and although I've worked the a ton of PTs and know how to do self-massages to decrease pain, I'm sick of spending hours each weak trying to alleviate pain I shouldn't have in the first place. I feel like I can't enunciate easily either, and I just want my jaw to be normal. I'm 30. My dentist hasn't been very helpful -- he just recommends a mouth guard at night although grinding isn't my issue -- and his device wouldn't be covered by insurance anyway.
I'd really like to get some medical help, and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm thinking I should check for sleep apnea, since I'd tired all the time, and maybe consult an oral/maxillofacial surgeon? Or any other doctor anyone can recommend, I'd be grateful. I'm in Decatur but happy to travel for good care.
Thank you very, very much.
Is there a joint around here a guy can go listen to some bluegrass.
Looking to attend a Lunar New Years Celebration this weekend and I see there are handful of ones around the ATL metro. Has anyone been to these before and can shed light on which one(s) are the biggest/most extravagant with music & performances?
Currently leaning towards Stone Mountain but have already read that Chamblee one could be very good as well.

If you really like your GI, please drop their name and clinic here. I am on the hunt for one (preferably a woman) who won’t rush through the appointment or dismiss my issues. A huge plus if they’re well-versed in the low FODMAP diet.
I’m in Cabbagetown, but willing to drive up to Alpharetta or somewhere equally as far.
Edit: Thank you to everyone who responded!! I really appreciate it. :)
Hey y'all. Been in therapy (which has helped a LOT over the last three years) but I'm finding that I'm starting to go in circles and the things that are bothering me are based on a long line of various traumas I've gone through. Talking about them isn't necessarily helping, and I need a different approach. For anyone that's undergone hypnosis - can y'all point me in a direction to someone you've seen?
Looking at all the random websites and stuff doesn't necessarily help - as it can be extremely overwhelming.
My husband and I live in SC where there aren't many baby stores other than Walmart and Target. We mainly just want to get our hands on some strollers to understand the various features and capabilities we read about online. We're visiting some family in ATL so we were going to take advantage of being in the big city to seek out some of these stores but of course all the Buybuy Baby stores closed at the end of 2024... I see a lot of boutiques on Google but again, I'm looking more for baby gear - specifically gear that I can put my hands on. Not really interested in clothes or toys at the moment. Thanks!

Notes
The use Google Flights to find a date that works for you. Click the date to the right and let the calendar populate with the prices.
Some of the airlines are only showing prices for the shitty basic economy (Can't pick seat, etc), so expect the price to be a little more. Especially with Delta.
I would recommend buying from the airline's website instead of third party (priceline, expedia, etc).
Ideally, you want your layover to be in the same country as your point of origin. So your final destination is where you go through customs and not worry about missing a flight. If that isn't the case, try to find a flight with 2+ hour layover.
