I believe I have a leak between the meter and the house. I have checked and it is my responsibility, not the city. I live in midtown and have never hired a plumber before. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Anyone know of any piano teachers who can teach in home lessons around Midtown?
Picking the piano up as an adult, didn’t get to learn as a kid and I could use some direction and help
We've got about 10 oak trees in our yard, and we're looking to have ~2 or so of them removed sometime this year. The trees are massive and appear very healthy. I dabble in woodworking, and I really do not want the wood to go to waste.
I'm looking for any recommendations or general ideas on how to go about this. I think my plan is to try to keep the main trunks, then quickly hiring someone with a portable saw mill so I can start letting them dry to use myself in a few years.
I'm not sure how practical that is, so if this isn't something I can easily do, are there any local services that will take the logs to use themselves? Either way, this would be more wood than I'd ever use, so I'd love to find a good place to donate a large potion of it if possible.
Any thoughts/recommendations/previous experiences are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good seafood buffet near Atlanta or buffet that serves crab legs?
Anyone have a reference for a traffic attorney who’s good but won’t break the bank?
Anybody have recommendations in the Marietta area? Really don't want to have to do it again myself this year. I know there's Levellawn, but not sure they've gotten the best reviews.
Newly moved here and trying to adjust. Any recommendation would be a great help for me. Thankss
Just curious if anyone knows of any pizza places in Atlanta (or Gwinnett) that specifically have a pizza with a chicken crust as opposed to normal/GF/cauliflower crusts.
TIA!
SO and kid have a concert tonight at The Eastern.
Anything for a 40s dad to do around there for 2 hours or so, or should I just Uber them?
I am looking for a place to a get mani-pedi that also offers massage and has drinks like wine available.
It’s part of a birthday gift so quality services and atmosphere are important

Hi all!
I'm looking to harvest some bamboo for a gardening project.
I'm looking for some thick tall action, as opposed to the lesser more delicate examples of bamboo.
If anyone knows any yards or lots I might be able to get some from I'd much appreciate it.
I'm hosting a party at a brewery in a month for ~40 people, and we're looking to put out finger food for people to snack on as the night goes. Looking for recommendations of standout items from local places (Midtown to Kennesaw) that would be a good fit here. I'm open to getting from multiple places (and CFA nugget tray is already on the list).
Got a chance of northern lights being visible tonight. What would be a decent location to drive to? Needs to be dark, north of Atlanta and with a good view of the northern skyline (above the tree line). I saw them once when I lived in Minnesota and it was magical. I know we won't have that but might see some green glow on the horizon.
Hello all,
My wife and I own a 2009 Pontiac Vibe. It sits behind our house, undriven for a couple (maybe a few) years now. I believe the motor has some serious issues somewhere (maybe a head gasket leak? There was LOTS of oil in one of the coil-pack slots the last time I looked there).
Anyhow, I was thinking about replacing the motor with a good, low mileage used motor and reviving the car so I could use it as a daily driver. It's much better on gas than my RAM Truck.
Can anyone recommend a good in-town mechanic that can do this work? I could source a motor from somewhere and deliver both the car and the replacement motor to the shop. I would just need the shop to pull the old motor, install the new one and hook up all the accessories (alternator, AC pump, etc.) and get her running good again.
Also, does anyone know a ball-park cost for this type of job?
I could probably do this work myself, but I don't have the time, nor the inclination.
Thanks!

I’m wanting to take someone out for drinks and maybe dinner, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for something more quiet and reserved on weekends. Thanks in advance!
I’m looking for places me and my friends can meet up at, we’re really into museums and nature oriented things. Although any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hey Atlanta.
I've got 2 tickets for the Lords of Acid tour this Saturday May 11, at 6:30 in Hell. Can't make it anymore and not a single one of my friends like my taste in music, so wanted to pass them off to the community.
First come first serve, just leave a comment here!
Looking for gf hush puppies in the Atlanta area anyone know of a place?
my dad is in his 60’s and takes care of himself and works out but has osteoarthritis and an old shoulder injury that has flared up and it’s killing me to see him in so much pain. He mentioned the idea of a PRP injection or other non surgical pain options.. someone said something about Qc kinetics?? Just trying to avoid straight scams and pseudoscience… I realize the results w PRP are debated in the scientific community
Wife and I moved to town in Jan. We are slowly exploring, but haven't made it to the zoo yet. I saw there is a Brew in the Zoo event coming up. Has anyone ever been? It seems kinda pricey $70 when a regular ticket is $33 and it's only a 3.5 hour event. I'm worried most animals won't be out still. I doubt my wife and I will combine to drink $80ish dollars worth of beer & wine. If this is a great experience tho that's a different story.
