Does anyone know what documentary on WW2 and Hitler that Dr. Salomone shows in INTA-2100? I graduated a few years ago, and I remember it being really good but can't remember what it was called. I tried checking a syllabus but couldn't find it.
Anyone know if this is a scam? Looks pretty shady and wanted to check.
I know the first semester isn’t paid but what about after that? Or does it depend on the professor/class?
It takes like 2 minutes and almost all classes offer an incentive if enough people fill them out before a certain date (for some of my classes that date is tomorrow!). Plus, instructors really value the feedback and improving courses benefits future classes too.
Pretty much every class has a tab on canvas to get there. If not, you can access through your email.
Just recently applied for housing since I wasn't able to apply before the deadline due to issues with my application. So I wanted to ask a couple questions and hope that there's someone who can answer them.
Hi!
Does anyone have a copy of the prompts/application for the RA application? The website is still down and I want to continue to work on mine, but I can't see the prompts. Thanks so much!!!
Yes, Coach, yes.
It's always freezing in here. Turning up the heat does nothing. Maintenance requests did nothing either.
Who should I talk to??
Hi All,
I’ve always dreamed of becoming a Yellow Jacket, and recently, that dream feels closer to reality. I know Georgia Tech is renowned as a technology-focused school, excelling in math, science, engineering, and STEM fields.
However, being located in Atlanta, I see incredible opportunities to explore, learn, and engage with public works and policy. If I decide to attend the Ivan Allen College (IAC), I’m leaning toward studying International Affairs or Public Policy. That said, I have some concerns. With the school’s strong emphasis on STEM, I wonder if the resources and support for liberal arts programs might be limited. Additionally, with fewer students applying to these programs, I’m unsure how the faculty and experience compare to other schools with a broader focus on liberal arts.
That being said, I’ve seen how students have thrived, interning and excelling with their liberal arts degrees from Tech. It gives me hope that my worries might be unfounded and that Georgia Tech could be the perfect fit for all types of learners.
If you have any insights or experiences to share about pursuing a liberal arts degree at Georgia Tech or attending IAC, I’d love to hear them!
Thanks so much,
(Hopefully) A Future Yellow Jacket
I’m a freshman business major thinking of transferring to GA state. I’m currently failing a math class and don’t want to lose HOPE scholarship, because without it I can’t afford school. I’ve never been good at math tbh and now I have to take calc classes. GA State has a solid business program and they only have to take algebra which I already have a credit for. Should I stay or leave?
EDIT: I just want to double major in accounting and finance, I don’t want to go into a stem field
I was under the impression that this was done automatically, but now I'm not sure. Is it too late?
How do bowl games work and who can we play against?
Alright here we go.
The Swarm rises once more. We will become the force every other team fears before long. We just need to keep moving forward. The bowl game awaits. On to the next challenge.
For over a century, games and even championships were contested for myriad reasons. That's why the Athens inbreds only have 4 natties, and not the 6 or more they claim... or it's cause they can't count... well, maybe both are true.
Either way, this game was legitimately stolen from us on live television. We won in regulation on a(nother) 4th down stop that would've turned the ball over with the clock and timeouts within Mathematical Victory range. DPI cannot occur after a tipped ball.
Colorado doesn't have a 1990 national championship and Tech ended the 2024 reg season at 8-4 and should be playing in the CFP as the only team with 3 wins over top-10 opponents this year. Tell your grandkids and never concede the loss out loud.
Brent Key needs to have this pain of defeat fester and grow for the next year. The taste of defeat in such a fashion better also inspire Buster Faulkner to THINK
Wow. I doubt we have a player that could start for Georgia in a position by position comparison. We had a bunch of defensive players injured, especially dbs. Haynes King was a warrior out there and left it all on the field. This was an amazing call by the coordinators. I’m excited about tech under Brent Key in the future.
Geoff Collins could've never given us a performance like that.
Just wanted to say how proud I am of tonight's performance. General reminder that this is a near 180 from where we were just 4 years ago. We went from being wiped out year after year to losing by a mere two points. We kept up a lead right up until the last quarter. We drove them into overtime for the 4th time in the history of the dwags. We drove them into 8 OVERTIMES, dragging this into one of the longest games in CFB history. IN ENEMY TERRITORY!
I dont know about y'all, but I can only imagine how terrified uga will be to play us on our own turf next year.
Well done Coach Keys, and well done Jackets. What a game!
like LMAO not only do we have top-tier minds, and some of the biggest alum names in the academic and corporate fields, but we also held them against the only thing they could really pride themselves on against us.
Despite the game score, we still won this in the end
That was insane to watch.
8th overtime against u[sic]GA? Fuck it that’s a win in my books. Well fought jackets 🫡
Please win 🍆
Seriously, that "field goal" (more like free kick) u[sic]ga tried to make at the end of the half probably broke a record for how far off you can be when kicking a field goal (they were off by over 10 yards to the right)
Unfortunately I can't find reels of it :( can someone find it if possible
