Wanting to apply to KSU but I have this question
This is mainly a question for upperclassman but freshman can apply too but for housing next year I wanna go off campus but like where do I go? Any recommendations?? And or advice to give to freshmen moving off campus? Also where should I start looking I heard some places are pretty good but idk what makes sense and I know now is the time to look
Not saying that i'm gonna fail my math class, but worse-case... if that does happen will I still be able to take my next level english class? Just asking since I know that math/english classes are in blocks now (for some freshman) and you can only take certain english classes based off the math class.
Yesterday and this morning, I got an email about an charge to my account but I can’t find it anywhere. I couldn’t find any charge on my epay account. Does anyone else have this too?
I am on 59th place on the housing list since September and the number did not change. Is this a bad sign and a time to renew my lease to Spring Off Campus? Or should K wait?
do we still have classes on the 5th?
What’s everyone’s favorite restaurant at the commons? And what do you like about it? My personal favorite is Piattis and those damn garlic knots! I cannot get enough of them!
Let me know!

I have a 3.9 weighted + 3.5 unweighted gpa, basically nothing for ECs, 10 total APs, and a 1300 SAT and I need to apply for early admission (I have an hour HELP)
Hello I am a current freshman student (idk why i haven’t thought about posting this earlier but wtv) and i am finding it difficult to fit in this school and am curious are there any good friend groups/clubs to join?
for the ones who have taken the final, would you say just using quizlet to study terms is the best way to pass or actually taking notes from the book (i havent been able to go to the class in a while).
also for those who have taken this class and took the final (specifically with prof. akinola morakinyo), do you remember if the lockdown part of the final also needed webcam too. It says on our syllabus that its a lockdown exam but doesn't explicitly say if it has a webcam.
and yes i’ve seen people on this sub be like the class is easy but would yall still agree with that if you haven’t really paid attention in the class?
Hey, would anyone be willing help with a project my teammates and I have for our technical writing class? 👀
It would just be meeting with my teammate on Microsoft Teams to do a quick usability testing session for the NIMH website, literally just looking around the website and giving feedback, it would likely take 10 minutes or less.
If anyone’s willing to help DM me!!
I’m talking specifically about the older man who blasts his music the entire way. He stops for like 15 seconds and even if you’re walking up the doors and he sees you he still drives away. I am praying on his downfall.
Hello everyone. My group and I need college students to take this survey for our Technical Writing class. It should take no more than 5 minutes and everything is confidential. If you are able to complete this survey, it would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link:
Hey everyone!
I am a new grad from Georgia State University. I want to pursue an MBA in the near future. Being a new grad, I don't have many years of professional experience but I saw that Kennesaw State's Evening MBA program appears to be open to new grads. I am deciding between Mercer's Full Time MBA program and Kennesaw State's Evening MBA program. I would love to know more about the program at KSU. How is the quality of instruction and the career prep? Is it better than Mercer's program? Also, as I mentioned, I likely don't have as much work experience as others enrolled in the program, would that become a barrier in my pursuit and prevent me from contributing in discussions/classroom if I am accepted and enroll in the program or is it not that much of an issue?
Any personal experiences, specific pros/cons, or general thoughts would be awesome. Thank you to anyone who reaches out!
It's just gone. The Display tap is gone.
To those who scored high and felt as if their study resources were useful, what did you use to study? Just the TEAS website stuff, or other sources of study prep?
hey does anyone know if the shopping buses are taking people to voting centers today?
Like, do we get an additional $525 from the meal plan, or does the original $525 cover both semesters?
ok, so I want to get into concept art or character design for my career. I was originally going to go to SCAD, but it's really just too much money. So now, it's between UGA and KSU. I've already gotten accepted into KSU, and UGA i'm waiting on a response from. Although KSU has an illustration degree, unlike UGA--which really the only degrees they have that i feel would relate to what i wanna do are graphic design and painting and drawing--i'm worried KSU won't have the same kind of connections as UGA. they're about the same price, and the area isn't that big of a deal for me, so really the only two things that i'm on the fence about are these. any advice?
Taking her in spring for ment 3100 and wondering how tough her classes are
Seems like every few weeks there's a post here about having trouble making friends, but the comments are just advice or people going "yeah, same." And considering how big KSU got this past semester, that will probably happen more often in the future. A pinned thread could probably streamline things.
I feel like posting it twice a semester, at the start and middle, is a good way to go. People would comment about themselves, and interested people can just reply to those comments/dm them and go from there. In fact, here's a template I came up with:
About You: (Age, gender, personality, etc.)
Major and Year:
Living: (Commuting from where/Dorming where)
Primary Campus:
Study Groups: (If you need one/are in one for a certain class)
Music Taste: (Genres and artists)
Hobbies/Interests: (Be specific, just saying TV or video games is too vague)
Clubs/Organizations: (Whether you're a member/officer, can promote if officer)
Events: (Whether hosting or attending, school related or not)
Socials: (If you want to plug one)
Other Notes:
I think this would be the easiest way to solve the problem, cause personally I'm going crazy having no one to talk to. What do yall think?
I’ve finished every single thing for my BA except my internship. It’s crazy to me that this is one of the only majors that require an internship. I got my degree 100% online since it’s one of the majors they offer fully online. Anyone know if there’s any way around this? I know you can do a co-op or study abroad instead but those really aren’t options for me. Already have a job so don’t know how I’m going to do an internship too.
Hey guys! I have posted here before about asking advice for managing 9 credit hours (3 classes) and you can click my profile to see when I posted that. I received amazing feedback. Right now I have something else.
School: Columbus state University
Major: Management Information Systems w/Cybersecurity management concentration
Status: junior starting in spring 2025
I have received emails from ECore itself saying that the updated list of ECON 2105 (macro) and 2106 (micro) will be posted on December 1. What the hell does that mean?? You’re saying I have to wait until December to choose the professor I want or risk not being able to get into a class before that date?
Registration opens today, November 1st at 8am. I have heard decent reviews of Econ professor “Melanie hildebrandt” for 2105 but spring 2025, she’s apparently teaching 2106 for microeconomics. I wanted someone named “Amy eremionkhale” because people loved her but I do not see her name on the eCore website
So what I am asking:
How hard are short sessions for Melanie hildebrandt if anyone has taken her? Or in general short sessions vs full sessions
Are there big projects due in either sessions, full or short, of macroeconomics or microeconomics?
What’s the difference in learning material/assignments for Macroeconomics and microeconomics? (I read rate my professor for Amy eremionkhale’s short sessions that assignments are due everyday but as long as you do that you will pass)
I am nervous from taking intro to business, principles of microeconomics and accounting 2 when I don’t know what type of teachers will be staffed
TL;DR: WHO/ WHAT THE HELL SHOULD I TAKE FOR MICROECONOMICS & MACROECONOMICS? FULL OR SHORT SESSIONS? WHICH IS MORE MANAGEABLE FOR STRESS LOAD?
Hear me out, I am so tired of not being able to go out and do fun stuff because I am stuck studying. I have to study for stuff tomorrow and I just want to go out and party. Absolutely fuck my degree and any professor that put stuff on this Friday
(Also, sending out support my other studious people tonight, love y'all -- Kick ass <3)
Hey!
I wanted to transfer my abroad credit (160). The credential gave me 121.5 and ksu transferred 104. 12 as elective and 92 as unused. I guess the 92 won’t count at all and I don’t wanna lose that much time studying for a bachelor since I already got one.
I want to apply for the master in cybersecurity (credentials said GPA of 3.2/4.0). So I have any chance of being accepted?
(Without any recommendation letter to ..)
Do I stand a chance of getting job after my graduation with and undergrad degree earned abroad ?
