We recommend the Modular 41 (over the 45) for its updated specs, slimmer chassis, and slightly reduced price. Ships with AW2. /r/tagheuer
Moto 360 2nd Gen ($250) - Motorola's last smartwatch looks equally great with a suit and tie or with running clothes and runs AW2 without a hiccup, making it a great alternative to the LG Watch Style. Update to AW2 available now (including Sport model). /r/moto360

Hi folks
I know this is an old watch but I abandoned all my Fossil watches and prefer this Hybrid watch.
Only issue I have, is the watch won't sync with Google Fit, when I try to connect it gives me "this app is blocked"
Anybody has a workaround for this?
Hello, I have the following smart band, it works perfectly but it is between 6 and 8 years old, if it is older, what I want is to be able to connect it to the phone via Bluetooth but I cannot find the official application, and the alternatives only connect but have no function.
What do you recommend? I was thinking about developing an app but I wanted to know if you know of any page, community or forum to download a generic app or have any idea what type of model the smart band is, thank you very much!
I'm based in the UK. Anyone know of any smart watches that can detect HR and send notifications to parents phone if it goes above a set number? I also need something that shows location ideally.
Greetings,
I'm trying to publish a Wear OS app and I need testers. Apparently, I need 20 testers using it for 2 weeks to move my app to production.
It's a Cross Multiplication app. You can enter 3 known values and the app will show the fourth value proportionally. You can change the unknown (the ?) place by long pressing the desirable position. It also have history feature and it saves the latest calculation. Here's the steps in order to test:
Let me know if you guys have any questions or suggestions.
Thank you.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and have had it for over a year now. I kind of like it, the interface is nice, the heartrate warnings are nice, so are the faces, but... The battery life is awful with AOD. I realize AOD will drain the battery faster, but I'm getting maybe 20 hours with just using it to track my heartrate, to see the occasional notification, and the time.
So I'm in the market for a new watch, I want one that:
I don't need, but I'm not opposed to:
The only feature I really like on this watch is being able to trigger my camera from my watch and see a preview, so an equivalent would be nice but by no means required.
I'm not too picky beyond that, I live in the US, my price limit is $400, and I have no known metal or material allergies. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, but am debating between either getting an S24+ or the new Pixel in the next 6 months.
I'm looking to surprise my mom with a smartwatch, and I need some guidance on which one would be the best fit. My budget is between $50 and $60.
Here are a few things I'm considering:
Ease of use: She's not very tech-savvy, so something user-friendly would be ideal. Basic health tracking: It would be great if it can track steps and maybe heart rate. Compatibility: It should work well with Android(she has a xiaomi phone) Any recommendations based on your experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm waiting for my w50 and thinking about making a custom watch face, but idk how to make it nor how to apply it to the watch.
If anyone knows a PC app for the job where I can import assets made in illustrator/photoshop and how to use them on the W50... Thanks
Also, if it's not possible with the OS of that specific watch, I'm willing to use any other OS that both keeps the basic functions of the w50 and is able to import my custom watch faces, just tell me how to do it.
We are researching simple communication options for a middle schooler.
I understand the Apple watch allows a child to text and call with ANY type of device (without that other device having a special app installed), while still allowing a parent to see and control who the child communicates with on the device. All the non-Apple "kid" options I have researched seem to either require the same type of device or a special app to be installed on any device that would communicate with the child's. All of the LTE Android watches all seem to be an extension of the phone they are paired with - so we'd either have to also buy a separate phone - or the child's device would effectively see all messages going to the paired parent's phone?
We are an Android family and prefer to stay that way. Are there any LTE watch options for Android that work like the Apple watch?
I am struggling with smartphone addiction but am not comfortable going cold turkey. I think that I need something to tell me that somebody is trying to get in touch with me. This means that I can hide my phone once I get home. The natural solution is a smartwatch that will display notifications from phone and whatsapp. This almost certainly won't work but I think it's worth a try. I therefore need a smartwatch that will do those things and as little as possible otherwise. Any ideas? I have had a look and have got myself thoroughly confused as usual.
Hello the zeblaze Thor ultra it have slot for som card but if you not want to use it with own simcard. How to bind it to the phone. So the phone notifications pop up on the smart watch. Seems to be Android 8 on it. I find a zeblaze app but it cant find it.
Pretty much what it says on the tin... I'm wondering if there is a watch app, or a phone app that uses a smart watch, that will provide an audible beep for my heart rate?
In a related question, does the watch talk directly to a bluetooth headset or would the beeps come from the phone's audio?
Big picture, I'm looking to do some biofeedback work, but some of the use cases involve hearing protection, hence I'm looking for a way to get audible heart rate through a bluetooth headset.
Best android wear ever made!
I'm doing research in to getting my first Smartwatch to help me with my fitness journey. I have narrow it down to Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic ,Samsung Galaxy Watch 7,Garmin Venu 2 Plus, and Fitbit Sense 2 . Any suggestions on what to get and why.
Just got a Movado Connect 2.0 watch and I am loving it so far. The size is perfect to be able to use all the apps and actually see what you are doing lol. Only question is I haven't been able to find a protective cover the watch? I have found the protective film for the screen but not the one that covers the entire watch and protects is? Anyone know of one or where to find one?
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice on choosing a new fitness tracker. I'm considering the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, Amazfit Bip 5, and Huawei Band 9. My main priorities are accurate step counting, calories burned, and heart rate monitoring.
For context, I previously owned a Fitbit Charge 5, which unfortunately stopped working after a year, even after being replaced once at the six-month mark. This experience has made me cautious, so I'm hoping to get some feedback from those who have used any of these three devices.
Thanks!
Hi, my daughter (age 7) is a special needs kid with a mental disability. In a fews days she is going to visit the school. One ides of mine, to give her a wrist watch to help her to know which part of the day actual is (or which school subject ...). So I'm looking for an small smartwatch or fitness tracker with the following main feature: programmable - I need to display some sort of icon or image on a specific time of the day. And I need to disable the touch screen, my daughter will play all time with this. So a touch screen isn't required. Something like fitbit with a small screen would be enough . I don't need other features like gps, messaging and so on. Just a small programmable wearable display. There was a perfect product for this need: Octopus by Joy - but it's dead:(
I'm a sysops - so I'm willed to code a little bit :)
Do you know some kind of watch or fitness tracker?
P.S.: Gadgets like PrimeTime from pine64 are to big for the small wrist of a kid.
Hello I'm looking for a clone of the ultra 1/2 watch but with smaller dimensions any suggestions? thanks
Hi,
Just wanting some clarification. Looking at getting a relatively decent but cheap smart watch with the ability to load/install android apps and this seems to fit the bill. My query is that direct from Mobvoi I can get the GPS variant for £90 or the cellular version for £70.
My understanding was that the cellular just added that additional feature and didn't take anything away, I'm not bothered and won't use it but my question is would there be any reason not to get the cheaper cellular?
Thanks!
yea this watch kinda sucks as a apple watch ultra 2 knock off, but i bought it for the android capibilities. What can i do on here like im looking for better watch faces and a better os if possible cause firebolts software is very crappy. it can run subway surfers and some other games, and it dosent pair well with the app.
I want to get a new budget watch and there is only 3 things I want it to do
Connect to Bluetooth (earbuds)
Play music offline (download songs onto it)
Tell the time
I had a Fitbit for a couple of years, it suddenly died 2 months ago. I have a Samsung S22Ultra on Verizon network. I'm looking for a new smart watch. I used my Fitbit to track my HR on bike rides, sleep quality, and various things on my phone. I'm looking at the 6. Not sure if I need to add separate data plan to my phone plan for it? Another dumb question, I couldn't link a Pixel watch to my S22+, I'm assuming. It's a little overwelming... maybe I'm not smart enough for a smartwatch?
Yesterday I received the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE and set up everything. Whatsapp worked perfectly fine but today, I wont recieve any notifications for whatsapp. When I launch Whatsapp on my watch, it wont refresh the messages until I send a message from my watch.
I hope anyone can help me, it's so frustrating..
TL;DR: Whatsapp seems to not refresh the messages and that may be why i wont recieve messages
Hello,
I just received my galaxy watch7 but I don't have Google services on my phone.
I use a custom rom, LineageOS with Microg, a Google service replacement suite. Turns out it doesn't work, it won't continue setting up the watch, it just gets stuck.
Is there a way to force the system? I mean something like an Xposed module or a Magisk addon?
Guys I'm planning to try and develop an app for the samsung wear os. I am not able to afford the newest model but trying to look for something viable (Im broke). Is the active 2 supported still? Do I even need the watch to test the software? I plan to use the step tracking and pace. Mucho gracias.
Hey guys I've been thinking about getting a smart watch this is gonna be my first I'm considering buying the honor magic watch 2 it's about 70$ in my country I was wondering if you would recommend it at that price range or there's something better The thing that gravitas me towards it is it's elegant premium look but I'm worried about it's functionality given it's a 5 year old watch at this point
I'm looking for suggestions for square smartwatches. My fiancé likes square shaped watches better but has a Fold 5. I'm trying to find something that will have basic functions, call/text, checking notifications since he can't have his phone out at work. He works outside so something waterproof/water-resistant would be a plus
Thanks in advance!
