Hi.. from time to time, like daily, my watch would buzz-- the vibration..
It buzzes 2 long, 2 short, and 2 long buzzes.. same every time..
There are no new notifications, the battery is at 60%,so all should be well in theory..
Any ideas why it does this?
Thanks!
If someone were interested I sell my Casio F-20 for € 149 in EU with all the original components and is back to the factory values:
Hi sorry of my english
I bought a WSD-F20 and i have screen looping, do you know it Will fiX? cause i reset the Watch several times and o got nothing. do i need to send to Casio RMA? i really love this Watch, please help!!
I have a WSD - F21 and am getting an Error 9002 when connecting to the charger. I looked up the code and it just states to send in for repair. Has anyone fixed this issue themselves?
So I bought a new android phone (android 12) and i have installed the lastest Wearos app verion 2.55.0.428053912.gms (ie 12-feb-2022) on my new phone and i just tried to pair it to my casio F20.
It could pair and then when it tried to "Setup my watch" it will say after a few min "Couldn't update your watch"and asked me to disconnect and reset the watch.
Guess what, i reset it (I shouldn't have!) and now i am stuck in a loop because the first thing after reset it will try to connect to my wearos. And the same thing loop agains.
Has anyone recently tried this? It used to work fine and i have been using the watch with my old phone for a while now. And now even if i try to pair with my old phone (same wear os app version) the same thing happens.
Now basically my watch is bricked.
Is there a way to bypass the wearos connection for the watch so at least i can use it standalone?
Thanks
Title is pretty self explanatory, I am considering to buy this watch. And wanted to hear your opinions and experiences about the watch. It's priced at ~130 USD(1700 Turkish Liras) and I think that's pretty fair for this watch. For reference GBA-800s are priced around 90-150 USD (1200TL-2000TL) and GA-2000SU-1ADR is around 100 USD. What do you think, is it too late to buy this watch? Should I consider the newer GBA800 series sacrificing "intelligence"?
I have not been able to connect the watch to a new phone for several months :( is there any solution?

Enter now ... r/CasioSmartwatch
Dear members of r/casiowsd,
for a few years r/casiowsd was a growing sub to discuss topics about the Casio Pro Trek Smartwatches WSD-F10, WSD-F20, the WSD-F30 and finally the WSD-F21HR.
But Casio seems to have stopped the development of the WSD series at the beginning of 2020.
Some time passed and now in May 2021 Casio released a new Wear OS smartwatch for the G-Shock series.
As this sub mainly stands for Casio and the Wear OS experience, we need a new title which better describes the aims of this sub ... and which is easier to find in the future.
Welcome to r/CasioSmartwatch !
New name, same content ...nearly the same ... but we're looking forward to here news about coming Wear OS smartwatches in the G-Shock series, hopefully a new WSD again?! We're prepared to accompany Casios journey with Wear OS whereever it may lead, and we're glad this journey continues!!! A sub for ProTrek Smart veterans as well as G-Shock G-Squad Pro newbies!
So let's move to r/CasioSmartwatch and be excited about Casios plans for the future!
Cheers, Woolve
Hello!
I need help figuring out the size of the watch pin for this watch. One of the pins are busted. Buying a new band seems difficult w/o overpaying, when I could just replace the pin. Unfortunately, I don't know the mm size of the pins for this smart watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
I really like the WSD-F21HR, but a few things I would see changed:
- size more like the F30
- flat tyre screen fixed
- OLED screen
So, it's basically the F30 but with HR.
Hmmm..
I was quite surprised as my F30 asked today to update its Casio Moment Setter App. Haven't thought that they are still working on the app. Maybe the new coming G-Shock models might use the same app and they are adapting the app?
App version on watch was 3.2.9.0889, now is 3.2.10.55565 . No update on my phone so far.
Haven't noticed anything new and there's no information in the Play Store, except the update date which has been set to Jan.12, 2021: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.casio.cwd.wsdapps&hl=en&gl=US
Any other models F10,F20,F21 got this update?
Just now seeing this, looks like a G-Shock version of the ProTrek WSD series: https://www.g-central.com/prototype-photos-of-the-gsw-h1000-g-shock-smartwatch/
I wonder if we'll get a WSD-F40 or if Casio is moving Wear OS next gen to G-Shock?
Im Andres, Nice to meet you. It is my first post. Im from Argentina, sorry for my English. I Got a new Samsung Galaxy S10 with android 10 and my watch is a brick. It pairs, starts procedure but gets stuck in about 30% and boot loop. The phone reads it but I think my google account never reachs my watch, It takes some minutes and watch request factory reset. And starting again and again. I tried erasing my seconf google account in my phone, All the cache in apps (google services and wear os) also I reinstalled it several times. Learned all I could from you, webpages, and so on. Also contacted casio and brought it to local Casio official service, and after a week they didnt find any problem but they said they do not have knowhow for smart watches. I purchased it in mexico, and It is not available in buenos aires. Will somebody help me? Thanks in advance
I have tried everything to reconnect to my phone after a full reset.
Any help
So my birthday is coming ,I was thinking of buying an F20 , is it worth it??, even 3 years after its launch ...I hope it hasn't become sluggish or anything..any leads or advice would be really appreciated!!
The touch screen on my F20 is getting less and less sensitive over time. I'm debating sending it for repairs vs getting a new watch. Anyone else dealt with or solved this issue? Thank you in advance.
I've had this watch for about a year, it was connected perfectly fine to my pixel 2 XL, but when I got a pixel for a 5G and attempted to factory reset to connect to the new phone the watch refuses to connect to any phone including the original pixel 2 XL or my girlfriend's iPhone 11. I've completely reset the watch half a dozen times and deleted all Google data even back loading old versions of wear OS on the original pixel and the new one with no positive result.
After the watch says that it cannot connect however where OS on the phones recognize it but say that it is disconnected attempting to connect does not work however.
it doesn't appear that wear OS is the issue as I was just able to finish pairing a tic 2 watch with zero issues
any help would be greatly appreciated
Hey all, I've been watching the WSD line for a while but couldn't afford one. A black friday sale got me an F20 for a great price, and it's the first WSD or Android Wear / WearOS watch I've had.
I paired it with my Android phone, and took to learning it a bit. Looks like it updated to the latest WearOS overnight which changed the UI a bit but overall it's very slick.
It seems like the jist of WearOS is customizable faces, with the option to swipe up/down/left/right for notifications/settings/tiles/assistant. The one center button is an apps menu, or held to bring up assistant. The two other buttons seem to just be shortcut buttons that can launch any apps, but by default launch Casio-created apps for "Tool" (ABC functions) or "App" ("Location Memory") These two watch apps seem to also be able to use the buttons, but most other apps don't know they exist. It seems like you control the watch with not one but *two* apps on your phone. The WearOS app controls the OS, and the Moment Setter app controls the Casio-specific watch apps.
I've turned off always-on, as I think the big selling point is the dual screen and extended battery life. I'm curious what else most people do. Does anyone use the built in "Activities" app? It feels sluggish to me, and I installed Google Maps which seems to be slicker. Not sure how much of any of this can sync to a phone for later viewing and analysis.
What's the general suggestions for a new WSD owner?
