Specifically on top of Stolen Chimney in Moab, Utah. Oddly enough, it was harder to walk along that fin than to stand on the spire. I'll be going back to Utah this year to learn how to ice climb- excited to post those pics too :)
Via Ferrata means "the iron way" and is a series of cables and rungs that soldiers (back in the day) used to traverse mountains.
This particular route is not sketchy at all- I was just monkeying around and trying not to use the footholds ;) The fall is steep, but I would never fall because I'm in a harness and clipped into the cable structure that is apart of every Via Ferrata route.
I'm a huge climber (trees and rocks). I discovered that portaledging is the "backpacking" of those sports. Too tired to go on? Really want to relax and drink wine over a sunset? Portaledge.
This definitely is not my highest climb (and you can see where I tossed a ladder from a top ledge- there was a little overhang that was perfect for storing goodies and using the bathroom). But I was learning new climbing techniques on that wall and it was the perfect place to stop for the day and pick up again in the morning.
I was one of the last groups to wingwalk before they shut the operation down.
I had people stealing my content so pls just ignore the tagg.

Just awnings and a 150 ft+ drop ⚡️ extra points for my dress matching Hong Kong taxis (one pictured in far right of image) ❤️
I've been doing this a long time so don't start calling me ignorant about the safety of these structures or antenna radiation, I know what I'm doing. This is the only tower that still scares me to climb.
Macau Tower bungy.
Will try to post to my own page asap with more photos if you’d like to see :)
