So here we are. Unbelievable. Who are these "instructors"? They should be named and shamed. Tandem BASE is fucking stupid, this is beyond that.
Anyone jump the "shock chord" static line bridle from apex? Thoughts about it?
What's your thoughts on using a slider tailgate (or any tailgate) on slider up stuff?
13 years ago safely made a integrated container in their wingsuit. How comes it never became a thing? It seems to me that it would make a lot of sense aerodynamically wise.

Especially the chorus🔥
I've seen a Cr+ for sale that would fit me perfect but Wich is not base optimized, what are the cons of jumping this suit in the base environment? Also have anyone compared it's speed compared to the aura5 or the c-base?
Dear fellows, I am planning to start BASE at some point (through mentors I know). I feel aware of some of the risks, but what is a big question mark to me is the force involved in openings. I’m worried they will smash me to death, or I will hurt myself bad from the opening.
Your thoughts?
Thanks.
I’ve seen Exile’s videos, but am looking for someone’s opinion that has jumped it
Will Mitchell has passed away today. Truly one of the best to ever do it. His knowledge of short start WS base has pushed the sport forward to exits and lines that were impossible years ago. Fly high, rest in peace my man.

As we can see SBA is against this one guy who offers tandem base in Lauterbrunnen... Opinions?

Not a jumper myself, but I'm falling down a BASE Jumping wiki read. I keep seeing it emphasized that skydiving gear cannot be used. What's so different about the parachutes? I'm not finding a super clear explanation, just that they're not interchangeable.
Thanks in advance for any info! Just a curious dude.
What’s everyone using for lasers for object height. Best bang for the buck would be cool. Mostly for Moab, but a few random As.
What is the difference between BASE courses in USA and Europe? For some reason it takes 4 days in USA and 8 days in Europe
Again, I'm not asking for advice if i should start jumping or not. I'm just curious when you all started? And if you regret starting so soon?
Back in my former life as a BASE jumper, I would sit on the phone with the gal who was actually sewing my first custom canopy (Mojo 220)…. I can’t remember her name, which actually saddens me a bit (it’ll come to me, but hate that I can’t just pull it from thin air).
Anyway, when she shipped me the canopy, she said she threw in a special surprise, and that I should place it somewhere.
It was a simple sticker.
Just a sticker…
I never placed it at the exit point of any object. Not sure why. Probably because I know how rare it was or would become.
Or, out of a certain reverence for the old timers.
Or, knowing that it would be torn away, or sun faded and forever forgotten by anyone who happened upon it.
I also have a terrible habit of placing very important things, such as rare paper money, notes, photos or, stickers which were never stuck, into books.
Tonight I introduced my 7 year old son, to a reference dictionary. And, inside I found a sticker, which I have been looking for for the better part of 20 years.
Thought you guys would like to see it.
If you know, you know.
If you don’t, you should.
Stay safe kids. It’s never wrong to climb down & try again another day.
Hey guys,
just to get this straight, I'm not a base jumper. I normally enjoy rock climbing, mountaineering and the mountains in general. However, during my last holiday in the Lauterbrunnen valley a few months ago, we saw some base jumpers. Yesterday, I read a little bit about base jumping in the Lauterbrunnen valley and the exit points. This left me wondering, if the term "rockdrop" describes the distance between the jump platform/point and the next protruding rock or the ground. Beside of that, I noticed that for some exit points in Europe, there is not just a specification in meters, but also in seconds. What exactly does this say and wouldn't this specification depend on the jumpers weight?

Thanks in advance!
I wish you all some good jumps and stay safe!
A while ago, I saw this compilation/tribute to a bunch of wingsuit base jumpers who had passed away. It kind of showed 15-30 seconds of each jumper and their highlights and a general tribute to the activity overall. The only feature I can remember being in it for sure was Ludovic Woerth. It was a really good edit, does anyone happen to know of this one? I've been looking for it again for a while but I'm afraid it may have been deleted.
Trying to do BASE jumping meme page
Hello there,
As said in the title, I'm asking for your Chad memory to help me find again that base video with that music : https://youtu.be/Tx9zMFodNtA?si=zK1Eyzy4LhBJy9U0
When I heard that music again, I thought I heard it in some Josh Nicholls' video but apparently not.
Your help will be much appreciated,
Thank you fellows.
Since I was young I never wanted to be in a pool by myself, on top of the water or under it. I tried to go to the gym pool with a mask and sit underwater to overcome the fear, but had no luck. Since scuba diving and being around marine life, I’ve been able to be in the water by myself.
I still have a fear of heights, and never see myself skydiving. I even have a hard time indoor rock climbing and looking down at 20 feet.
But seeing base jumpers like Jeb Corliss jump off the Golden Gate Bridge is pretty cool. His videos are very inspiring. Whats a good way to slowly ease the fear of heights? Rappelling?
