FIrst time poster here and I'm having quite a strange problem / question for anyone savvy regarding custom hotkeys.

I'm running the 1.30.4 patch (to replay all the campaigns) and I haven't been struggling with custom hotkeys at all so far, using jcfieldsdev.github.io/warcraft3-hotkey-editor/

However, when I try to edit the custom hotkeys for Rexxar and the like from the The Founding of Durotar campaign, it just doesn't work. The hotkeys are "standard", Summon Misha on "I", Quillbeast on "Q" and so on. I also couldn't find anything on this issue since no one has apparently ever ran into this.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I assume that the Action IDs are wrong, but I also couldn't find any contradicting information to the ones provided by the editor above.

I have quite some history with Warcraft 3 as most of you probably do as well, last time I played W3 online was in 2013 and I hadn't logged on eurobattle.net since. We've been playing that version of W3: FT ever since on Lans, I loved Green Circle TD, X Hero Siege etc. Now I try to figure out how to play these maps online again and I'm seriously confused with all the downloadable content and resources ; I have W3 version 1.26.xxx and eurobattle.net account. My questions are simple, where do I find the latest updater to whatever is the latest W3 client version, is eurobattle still the place where these custom maps are being played, and/or am I missing something else? Thank you very much.

Didn't you feel a bit robbed after finishing the entire campaign and realising there was no third hero for the UD?

Is there a blueprint for a TD map where I can edit the map, creeps and towers look (model), description and stats to my liking? Or do I have to start with nothing and have to set all events and triggers and such myself? No experience in creating maps.

Is it me or is the Warcraft 3 Ai one of the worse ones to play against?

Idk I downloaded this game before on reforged and i could run it, but i didnt play it much as im a starcraft player and i thought the games would be more similar, but, nevertheless i wanted to give it another try after i seen they actually remastered the graphics, but i hop on and my game barely stays above 60 fps sometimes dipping to 50 and even 45 when i zoom out in campaign, before i used to get consistent good framerate near 240-300 sometimes on my decentish pc. Do you guys know any way to fix this?

Specs: Cpu: amd fx 8370 ~4.1 ghtz(around there not sure) 8 core

Gpu: NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super 6 gb

Ram: 16 gb

1 tb ssd

I know my cpu is lackluster and my graphics card is reaching that point too but i dont normally play graphically intensive games so i havent needed anymore

What should i do? I really wanna try to give this game another shot

How to the rankings work? Is it solely mmr based i see ranks such as bronze 8 where it put me, but I'm a tad confused 1083 silver 2 just crushed me like a 10000 game bnet player would.

Every 4 game warcraft crashes instantly without any error message. Only a slight noice from my macbook.

Anybody familiar with that issue and has an idea how to solve it?

Hello! I was creating a map for my brother and it was ok reforged graphics (dont judge he was a kid when we played wc3 and I felt it would be cool for him to see the updated models)

However, since the update my editor mixed both reforged models and mainly older models. When I test the map it goes on full reforged but it’s really hard to keep editing it without having s clear view of the color palette and the volumes thar reforged uses.

I tried swapping grahics but it wont do anything.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Cuando era niño jugaba warcraft frozen trone y habia un mapa que jugaba con mis 3 amigos en el que consistia en lo siguiente, tratare de ser lo más descriptivo posible: Aparecias con unos soldados, arqueras y un heroe que era el personaje de lord garitos en un mapa verde y con "castillos". El juego consistia en eliminar a los demás jugadores pero la idea era que habia sitios que eran como castillos donde rompias una puerta y destruias una torre en medio, una vez hecho eso el castillo era tuyo y podias construir dentro, como cuarteles y torres de defensa para los que querian entrar a tu castillo. Habia ciertos castillos más grandes y eso era lo divertido, también las construcciones dentro de los castillos se realizaban solo en ciertos espacios (heerreria o cuarteles). No es mucho pero eso era a grandes rasgos. Era un mapa de 8 jugadores a 12 aproximadamente. He buscado por todos lados pero lo unico que tengo de nombre es "casttle battle" recuerdo muchisimo y tengo mensajes de facebook del 2011 en el que le decia a mis amigos " hay que jugar casttle battle" no sé si lo escribi bien o si habia más palabras, pero algo así era el nombre del juego, algo así era ya estoy dudando que ese sea el nombre real :(. Me busque por las mil paginas que tienen la palabra "castle" pero en ningun lado lo encontré, estoy como loco y no me pienso rendir, por eso pido su ayuda si alguno lo recuerda y me pueda decir el nombre del juego o me pueda ayudar a buscar el juego, se lo agradeceria un montón.

English: When I was a kid, I used to play Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, and there was a custom map I played with my three friends. Here’s what it was about—I’ll try to be as descriptive as possible:

You started with some soldiers, archers, and a hero (who used the character model of Lord Garithos) on a green map with "castles." The objective was to eliminate the other players, but the twist was that there were specific places, like castles, where you could break through a gate and destroy a central tower. Once you did that, the castle became yours, and you could build structures inside, such as barracks and defense towers, to protect against others trying to invade your castle.

There were also larger castles, which made the game more exciting. The buildings inside the castles could only be constructed in designated areas (like a smithy or barracks). That’s basically how the map worked. It was designed for around 8 to 12 players.

I’ve searched everywhere for it, but the only name I remember is Castle Battle. I even have Facebook messages from 2011 where I told my friends, "We should play Castle Battle." I’m not sure if I spelled it correctly or if there were additional words in the title, but it was something like that. Now, I’m starting to doubt if that was even the real name.

I’ve gone through countless pages with the word "castle" in them, but I still haven’t found it. I’m going crazy over this, but I’m not giving up. That’s why I’m asking for your help. If anyone remembers this map or can help me find it, I’d be incredibly grateful.

So I've been asking questions about various things about different races,In this subreddit, for the last, probably 8 months or so. However, I've yet to try until today. The fourth race in this game night elf or to me. It's the fourth, just because they're the last one I tried, and who would have thought it would have ended up being the most natural feeling for me i've watched various grubby videos on youtube.Throughout my learning of this game over the past year, I bought it last black friday sale i'm blown away at the irony of the last race. I try being my favorite. I'm also blown away by what the race can do. Their stuff is kind of crazy.

I watched beginner grubby build video on night elf and I was able to instantly start winning games, which I was not able to do with human or orc.

Side question starting Demon Hunter, what do I typically start with burn or evasion? I've been trying evasion? And it seems to be doing okay, but I didn't know if this was optimal.

I played a ton of WC3 custom games back in the day but lost my WC3 disc in 2009 and hadn't played it since. Picked up a copy of reforged a few days ago and tried out some custom campaigns - and I'm having a blast.

I know I'm a bit late (10+ years lol), but for anyone who also hasn't tried these out, I highly recommend giving them a try. Some of the campaigns the community has made are well worth the price of a new copy of WC3/reforged even if you don't play any other content.

If anyone has other recommendations let me know. Planning to do Resurrection of the Scourge and Legends of Arkain next.

I used to play marvel TD and a childhood friends house a long time ago. What is the best way to go about playing this game in a modern way? I haven't experienced much of Warcraft outside of this and not even really sure how not boils down into marvel TD. Might be interested in other flavours of TD but really keen on the marvel one. Any info/advice/help is appreciated 🙏🏽

The new 2.0 update means you can only invite players by clicking on the slots. But all the slots are greyed out in games from a loaded state and I can't invite him.

Hey guys.. Im just started this game and havent played games similar to this at all before.

Can i play it with only binding units and buildings in control groups? And IF so is it doable to bind les say all buildings in the game to key 4 for example? and then tab between them and select the one i want? How many buildings fits in one key? And is it the same way to go with units? Can i bind different units into same key? For example 1?

Im also wondering if u have to learn wich hero tjat goes with what unit and so on?

Last but not least- can u bind abilities to Heroes and if so how do u do it?
