I don't have my old CD keys so I think I have to buy ROC keys from somewhere, but where though? Can I also play LAN through Battlenet? I would like to play with family members at home.

I've tryharded the game back when reforged launch on the WC3 champion ladder and reach low gold.
Now that an official ladder exist too wich one should i choose?

I’m one of the lowly Mac users. I went into bnet to double check that it’s still not working. And, it’s not. So instead I tried the PTR and it loaded me into this menu screen. Has this always been the menu in the PTR? Options took me to the regular options screen. When I clicked exit game it froze my Mac. I just ask because a new menu setup would be a great QOL update…

If you needed to teach someone who starts to play w3c - what advice would you give?

- it says this error is when people don't have the game. however, he does have the game

- he recalls having added his classic cd keys to his account but they are no longer there (he thinks they disappeared after he bought reforged then refunded it)
- if he tries to add them again (from the sticker on the CD box), it says they were already claimed

Hello how to play with Gruby?

The competitive scene seems to be pretty healthy (imo) in regard that Happy is not as dominant as he was.
Right now we got a really solid top 4, Four Kings battling out and any of them can win.
Fortitude, Lyn, Happy and 120 (an argument could be made for Starbuck to be there instead of 120 perhaps but i see him as THE dark horse)

I know Happy hasn't won an offline event, he lost the first BetBoom in an insane BO against Fortitude.
Couldn't attend Raraland and lately lost early in the tournament of the 2nd betboom (i don't count starswars, this kind of "team events" are not worth noting imo)
Forti won every lans he attend to, Lyn also didn't attend a single lan and he has always been a scourge for humans, i remember that at some point he was undefeated by them for a whole year (around 2022?).

So i can't really speak on who is the number one player, but the top 3 is insanely close with 120 putting some chaos every now and then.

But sadly i don't see one INSANE elf player like the other races have, one which, players can look up for.
Moon isn't as good as he used to be, Lawliet takes breaks and isn't consistent. There's Colorful and Kaho but imo they don't seem the creative ones (might be wrong?), there's Life as well who seems to follow the footsteps of the other two chinese monsters.

So the undeads has the Emperor, the orcs has the Warchief and the humans has the General.
Who will pick up the torch and lead the elves ?

I had the app in /user/.../whatever folder... wanted to play direct strike -> it said I need to update w3champions in order to do that -> couldnt find an "update" button -> downloaded the file fresh from w3championns.. -> suddenly it asked for a folder to install.. so I deinstalled the app and made a fresh installation

-> started wc3 once through battle net... w3champions launcher is gone, closed the game

doubleclick on the new w3champions icon on desktop -> a window shortly pops up for a milisecond -> then closes again and nothing more happens...

any troubleshooting ideas?

1. I once force uninstalled microsoft edge - that deactivated the webview2 - whatever service - so I had to reinstall

2. my bonjour service was not running even though it was installed - so I had to reinstall that too

Took a while and a lot of discord back and forth to figure it out but I finally made it"

Not sure what to do about this or where to seek assistance.
I never bought reforged, i have an old license key(ROC/TFT) and have been playing on bnet for a long time now(As in, currently do so etc). Looking to make the switch, but game ownership won't verify.

Or can you use it with the old license. Can't get myself verified. Not sure what to do at this point.

New player here trying to chose my main race, and i want to know more about their playstyles. Like, i'm not talking about which units you should build but more like their "win conditions", for example, from what i understood until now

-Humans are pretty bad early and are easy to get harassed, but if they manage to survive they can build according to their enemy and have a really good late game.

-Orcs are good early and needs to maintain an agressive aproach of constant harass, otherwise they fall off...? I don't know actually, because i saw people saying that they have a good late game too, but others said that they don't so idk, but if they have then what's exactly their weakness?

-Undeads are also good early and win by constant harass, and from what i understood they indeed fall of late game. But then i saw that their strongest units are T3, so why they are bad late? Also, if both them and orcs win by agression, whats the difference between their playstyles?

-Night elfs have a good... early? Idk, i saw people saying their late is trash, but also that their early units are also weak so what exactly you do with them?

I play pala rifle and my friend plays Night Elf and he starts mass hunts then goes bears. I try using invincibility to stop DH from mana burning me. I try to go for tier 2 push before the yogi bears attack. Both our mmrs are low. Should I be going defence aura instead? Ill take any tips for stopping DH but at no point in the game do I feel like I can do anything to stop him. Online tips ive seen are

1: run away from DH ( not helpful)

2: Dont play pala rifle against DH (im open to this but id still like some tips as AM just gets mana burned and still cant push DH back.

Tdlr: im a bad player getting cooked by DH please help, any advice is useful.

How do I actually enable reforged graphics when using W3Champions? I can't find anything online and W3C always forced me into a game where the setting is grayed out when in match.

I use Reforged when using bnet graphics, so don't understand what or why W3Champions is forcing me to use classic graphics?

Hey everybody, Im having a weird issue with the credits and Levels in Direct Strike in the W3Champions Client. For some reason im not able to gather them, they always reset. Someone in the DS Discord told me, that this might be an issue with FLO TV. Does somebody else have/ had this problem before? And if the coins are saved within the client somewhere, is there a default path that is definied? Maybe there is something about my setup, since i have Warcraft 3 installed on my E: partition?

Did Blizzard improve in any way WC1/WC2 to make it worth buying an official copy? (as compared to other ways to play this game)
