VR Gaming is a subreddit set apart from other headset specific VR subreddits. Not only is it a friendly meeting ground for fans of all devices, but it is also special in that discussion is virtual reality gaming specific only.
The new virtual reality industry covers a vast swathe of topics and applications which can range anywhere from gaming to tourism, education, design, and real estate. Just about any industry or topic you can imagine can be tied into VR, so it is very important to have a subreddit that only focuses on VR gaming.
Rules are coming soon, but for now they are simple! Talk about gaming, don't spam, and above all, be nice! █-)

To use wireless VR i have to use my pcs mobile hotspot to give my quest 2 Wi-Fi, this is because my room is the opposite side of the house (my pc gets ethernet through a powerline adapter). i don't get great performance at all, I'm constantly getting freezes high latency and stutters, would getting a better motherboard antenna help give better performance, by maybe improving the hotspot.
My ethernet is pretty ass in general, i would be getting 500 Mbps download if i connected directly to the router, but with the pc in my room and using the powerline adapter i get 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload.
I use virtual desktop btw
I wonder what is your tolerance for developer posts before they become spammy? And what do you consider a spam post? Is frequently seeing different clips of the same game annoying? Or maybe just seeing the same post every day gets on your nerves?
I've read the rules of each channel but still words "excessive" are debatable at best.
Will 4gb vram handle some vr games at like 30-45 fps?
Will this be its own game or an isolation rip off
I've recently bought Gundam: Silver Phantom and it was not bad.
Well, game-wise, it could have been better but the piece states it's rather VR cinematic animation thing than a mecha-action game.
What impressed me was the being in the 360-degree cockpit that I always dreamed of for more than 20 years. A flat-screen game cannot satisfy this how much it is good and the VR finally made me sit on the cockpit as if I were Amuro or Char.
Anyways, that being said, there are tons of mecha/robot/sci-fi Japanese IPs and if it can be a genuine VR game, what IP would be the best?
A few are coming into my mind but I won't limit your imaginations and ideas!
We are running a VR park that 6 players can play together with VR headsets and guns, we want to buy HTC vive focus 3 or pico 4 enterprise, but the thing we don't know is that what games suitable for this and how we can run theme on headsets. Can anybody help me with that?
Saw the big discount on Hitman World Of Assassination on Steam and I was thinking about it because I saw the game has VR support. I know people say the VR implementation is really bad for this, but I'm wondering: is it considered bad only because VR motion controllers aren't well supported?
Like, is the game fine to play in VR if you don't mind playing it with an Xbox controller?
With a 4060ti i5-12400kf pc my headset always just lags and freezes with airlink quest 3. With no people in vr chat lobbies it doesn’t lag little to none but when there’s around 15 + it gets really glitchy and laggy. Any recommendations? Some games like Phospho phobia are unplayable.
This is the laptop:MSI Thin 15 B12V (B12UC-1883XUA) Cosmos Gray Would it run steamvr on 60-50FPS?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. Basically, the side piece broke off after I stepped on it. Is there a place to buy a new piece or should I glue it on or something? Or should I give up and be sad? Please and thank you.
When I try playing any VR game where you use the joystick for movement, I move backwards when I tilt it forwards, but when i move it back it moves back. Does anyone know how to fix it?
I’m asking this specific question on this subreddit because currently there is no subreddit dedicated to Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone, and if I ask this question in the Discord, it’d be like tossing a letter into the air.
The first task by the medic lady asks me to find three ‘household’ items, and I’ve found countless amounts of said household items, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to give them to the lady and finish the task.
I have basically caveman understanding in regards to how this stuff works so I am seeking an answer to a question I have.
Why have no manufacturers made a pcvr headset that has a transmitter that plugs into your PC somehow and has a direct connection to the headset? I saw somewhere wifi direct is capable of transmission up to 250mbps which seems like it would be enough for video and audio but I may be wrong. Is there an issue with latency? Is the technology too expensive? Or does it just not have enough speed?
So i just got the puppis and this is what it looks like, however every few minutes, both the game and networking ms shoot up and destroys the performance and latency. Dont know whats causing it. Steam vr seems to fair a bit better. Im using the prism pulse mode since i thought it would be the best. So far it has less of a stable experience than just using my wifi. How do you guys use it and do you have suggestions on fixing it?
Hello, I tried to make a VR system, that include: PC, Smartphone + Helmmet on Riftcat, JoyCon and Kinect 360 - all this connected in Driver4VR.
Okay, that works! with issues, but...
Okay, I have an annoying issue - Left Joycon after 12-15 minutes is slow down. I press the button - result then 1-2 seconds, controller is moving per axis veeeeery slowly, one micro movement per seconds)) But right JoyCon is alright. I don't see a thread about Driver4VR, so maybe knowing people can help me) I already tried to move my Bluetooth adapter is close to my place and controlled - no some effect.
