VR Gaming is a subreddit set apart from other headset specific VR subreddits. Not only is it a friendly meeting ground for fans of all devices, but it is also special in that discussion is virtual reality gaming specific only.
The new virtual reality industry covers a vast swathe of topics and applications which can range anywhere from gaming to tourism, education, design, and real estate. Just about any industry or topic you can imagine can be tied into VR, so it is very important to have a subreddit that only focuses on VR gaming.
Rules are coming soon, but for now they are simple! Talk about gaming, don't spam, and above all, be nice! █-)

Saw the big discount on Hitman World Of Assassination on Steam and I was thinking about it because I saw the game has VR support. I know people say the VR implementation is really bad for this, but I'm wondering: is it considered bad only because VR motion controllers aren't well supported?
Like, is the game fine to play in VR if you don't mind playing it with an Xbox controller?
With a 4060ti i5-12400kf pc my headset always just lags and freezes with airlink quest 3. With no people in vr chat lobbies it doesn’t lag little to none but when there’s around 15 + it gets really glitchy and laggy. Any recommendations? Some games like Phospho phobia are unplayable.
This is the laptop:MSI Thin 15 B12V (B12UC-1883XUA) Cosmos Gray Would it run steamvr on 60-50FPS?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. Basically, the side piece broke off after I stepped on it. Is there a place to buy a new piece or should I glue it on or something? Or should I give up and be sad? Please and thank you.
When I try playing any VR game where you use the joystick for movement, I move backwards when I tilt it forwards, but when i move it back it moves back. Does anyone know how to fix it?
I’m asking this specific question on this subreddit because currently there is no subreddit dedicated to Contractors Showdown: ExfilZone, and if I ask this question in the Discord, it’d be like tossing a letter into the air.
The first task by the medic lady asks me to find three ‘household’ items, and I’ve found countless amounts of said household items, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to give them to the lady and finish the task.
I have basically caveman understanding in regards to how this stuff works so I am seeking an answer to a question I have.
Why have no manufacturers made a pcvr headset that has a transmitter that plugs into your PC somehow and has a direct connection to the headset? I saw somewhere wifi direct is capable of transmission up to 250mbps which seems like it would be enough for video and audio but I may be wrong. Is there an issue with latency? Is the technology too expensive? Or does it just not have enough speed?
So i just got the puppis and this is what it looks like, however every few minutes, both the game and networking ms shoot up and destroys the performance and latency. Dont know whats causing it. Steam vr seems to fair a bit better. Im using the prism pulse mode since i thought it would be the best. So far it has less of a stable experience than just using my wifi. How do you guys use it and do you have suggestions on fixing it?
Hello, I tried to make a VR system, that include: PC, Smartphone + Helmmet on Riftcat, JoyCon and Kinect 360 - all this connected in Driver4VR.
Okay, that works! with issues, but...
Okay, I have an annoying issue - Left Joycon after 12-15 minutes is slow down. I press the button - result then 1-2 seconds, controller is moving per axis veeeeery slowly, one micro movement per seconds)) But right JoyCon is alright. I don't see a thread about Driver4VR, so maybe knowing people can help me) I already tried to move my Bluetooth adapter is close to my place and controlled - no some effect.
Hello, It's all in the title. I'd like a good gunstock that's not too expensive. I've also seen accessories that simulate the haptic feedback of a gunshot and I LOVE the idea. So I'm prepared to pay a certain price if a well-engineered version exists. So either a standard that's not too expensive but practical. In other words, well-designed haptics.
Do you have any recommendations because I have to admit that it's such a niche that I can't find much recent information on the subject?
Picture is the haptic tech I saw but in absolute terms I'd like a rifle version.
Hi, Ive been trying to look into what i'd like for a headset. I know I want something similar to the vive with both hand and full body tracking, but also want one with a decent mic for multiplayer games. Even better if i can find it on amazon. Any recommendations?
I want the same flight but without the extremely small maps.
My first Godot VR tutorial! I hope this helps people get started on their vr gamdev journey!
So to explain everything I have TP - Link5400 connected to my main WiFi router through a ethernet cable, I bought this so I can set to it 5 GHz and be separate from my main router.
I then use a TP Link WiFi extender plugged in upstairs in my bedroom with a ethernet cable plugged into my laptop. The issue is downstairs plugged in the TP link router I get about 2400 Mbps but upstairs in my bedroom I only get roughly 535 Mbps,
So I want to still play in my bedroom but getting a stronger Mbps, I was thinking a long ethernet cable running upstairs plugged into my TP link 5400 then into laptop or possibly another extender. Any help be appreciated 👍
Obviously I lost money paying for it, so I need to rant a bit, but hopefully this post also changes somebody's mind.
I've been eyeing ProVolver for around 3 years when I finally got enough spare income to buy it and it's so not fucking worth it. It's incredibly front-heavy (no, it's not heavy like an actual gun, it's just unbalanced), gives miniscule haptic feedback, however, it's still enough to mess up the IMUs on Quest 3 controllers, the software sucks, and even when it works, it doesn't feel immersive at all. Oh, and also you feel incredibly sluggish as a result.
The mental image of what it should be is at least 10 times better than the actual product. Just don't buy it.
Hello everyone,
I feel like I'll ask something already asked somewhere but I can't figure out where to find the info : is the VivePro 2 any worth ?
I got the opportunity to enjoy a full brand newkit Vive Pro 2 for 700€ and I read that it's pretty good if not for the hefty price. For context I'm a full pcvr player, I had a good ol' Rift S for 4 years and I want to get a successor. I got the space and the budget is not really a big difference, I use a system of pulleys on my ceiling to remove the encumberment of the cable.
The things I read about the Vive Pro 2 are that compared to a meta quest 3 the vive would be worse while having a better resolution caused by its lenses.
The confort would be a good point of the vive and the controlers seem really good on it.
Would anyone be able to do a pcvr pov compare please ? I'm quite lost in front of these people presenting the Quest 3 as a holy grail and those defending the whole HV2 experience.
Anyway, thanks for your help !
Have a good day :)
I was lucky enough to get to try out a new Mixed Reality game for the quest 3 this week
