I don't want to miss out on the food-on-a-stick social experience when everyone around me is roasting marshmallows
My child is starting preschool. Lunches require a protein, grain, fruit, and vegetable. Any suggestions for something easy to send in? I’m coming up with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but would love other ideas. It’s the protein part I’d like some easy go-to ideas for. Nothing too messy or requiring much prep time please.
Are oat groats the same as hulled oats? Reason I ask is I can buy a bag of hulled oats from a farm supply store for a lot less than a bag of oat groats from a health food store.
I hope this doesn’t ‘yuck anyone’s yum’… for all I know it might be delicious. And I often depravedly eat it dry, by the spoonful.
I used the recipe from Woon Heng with a few modifications/substitutions. Highly recommend. My house smelled like a Vietnamese restaurant and it was just delightful.
