We did it before do you think it will happen again
im looking into the new jacksonville club, and i cant find much about them. am i not looking good enough, or are they really just silent?
It's the first Monday Morning of the playoffs! That means it's time to ignore work responsibilities and discuss the events of this past weekend.
Both first-time playoff teams (Vegas and Rhode Island) advanced to the Conference Semifinals. Could they be going to the finals, or will they be humbled by Orange County New Mexico and Louisville respectively?
Three home teams failed to advance. Indy continues to disappoint when it comes to the playoffs, failing to advance past the first round for the third time in four USL playoff appearances (fifth counting the 2016 NASL playoffs). Is this a sign of bigger issues with the Eleven, or is it just bad luck?
Detroit has never missed the playoffs since they joined the USL Championship and has also not missed a playoff tournament that has actually happened since they went pro in 2020. However, in USL they have never made it further than the conference semifinals. With their lower player budget, does their future look like more of the same or do you see their first actually professional trophy in their future?
Memphis continues to struggle to attract fans, even for a playoff match. With the proposed stadium all but dead, what does the future hold for them?
Louisville looked a bit rough for the 1 seed on Saturday, but ultimately were able to win and advance. Is it just because they were playing a team that previously gave them trouble in North Carolina, or is there a chance they miss the Eastern Conference Final for the first time in club history?
New Mexico also stumbled a bit, but ultimately pulled off the win. With neither first seed pulling a 2023 Pittsburgh, are they both locks for their respective conference finals?
Should USL consider adopting MLS' best-of-three playoff format? And if yes (which is the wrong answer by the way), why?
Any other thoughts on the playoffs so far?
I finally updated the USL Championship combined table I've been updating about once a month to make it up-to-date for the end of the 2024 season. Some things I've learned doing this project, and some takeaways from looking at the end results.

That is all.
Jordan Farr had never faced a penalty shootout previously in the USL Championship or U.S. Open Cup.
But after an up-and-down first season in Tampa Bay, he came through when the Rowdies needed him to send the side into the Eastern Conference Semifinals against Detroit City FC.
two times the Tampa and Detroit game has gone offline with your event has ended
I'm a 22-year-old winger from Argentina, currently playing in the Eccellenza league in Italy. At the end of January, I have two trials lined up – one with a team in the USL Championship and another with a team in USL League One.
What's the level like in those leagues? And if things go well, how much do they pay? I'd love to know more since I don't know much about it.
Thank you very much!
In the USL playoffs, if it’s a draw after 90 minutes does it go to extra time or straight to pk?

Raiko Arozarena has been a key part to Las Vegas Lights' turnaround this season. On Friday night he played the central role in the club advancing in its USL Championship Playoffs' debut.
This thread is for discussion of all USL Championship Playoffs Conference Quarterfinals matches. Discussion of League One playoffs and Super League regular season matches should be held in r/USL1 and r/uslsuperleague respectively. #Schedule ##Friday, November 1
For both Rhode Island FC in the USL Championship and Spokane Velocity FC in USL League One, their inaugural seasons were aimed at being foundational.
Now both have made the playoffs, with Rhode Island the first true expansion club to do so since 2019 and Spokane only the second expansion side to reach the postseason in league history.
Here's a feature on how both got here: https://www.uslchampionship.com/news_article/show/1322568
Hey! I used to play in the 3rd division in Denmark and Greece. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL and had to take a two-year break. I returned to training about a year ago, focusing mostly on physical conditioning. I've been training intensely and have become extremely fast, with great stamina and overall physical strength. My technical skills aren't as sharp as before, I'm not saying I've forgotten how to play, but I'm definitely not at the level I was before the injury. That said, I’m now in much better physical shape than I ever was when I played in Greece and Denmark.
Do you think I have a shot at making it to the USL?
(I'm 20, 184cm tall and 75kh if this info helps in any way)
Just a shower thought lol. I am aware that they are mostly a money grab, but I am also wondering if for those brand new teams it may be different🤔 what do you think?
