Match threads are quick take, fast moving events. Emotions can run high depending what is happening on the pitch. We are all here to watch the beautiful game. Please remember that criticism of paid professionals is allowed. Personal attacks on other users and supporters is not. Somos Unidos!
Phoenix got -->insert sports cliche verb thingy here <--- on Sunday during a cold rainy exciting playoff match. So next up, we take on Las Vegas. How pumped are you for this match? Are you bringing a friend? Is your voice recovered from Sunday? How you going to stay warm? (Protip: stand in the supporters section and keep moving).
Reply with your thoughts, comments, and playfully snarky comments about Vegas here. (NM Vegas > NV Vegas).

I'll start. My view in the supporters section (mostly pre/post match stuff).
Hello United fans! I've been following the team off and on over the years but am going to go to my very first game this weekend for the semi-finals.
Wanted to ask where the best place to sit is? I've never been to a futbol game ever, so I don't know if mid-field is best to see all the action or if behind the net is better for goal scoring action.
Anybody have any preferences? Any fan groups that sit in a specific area?
Let's go United!

Hey all,
Been to a few games and just went to the first playoff game, can anyone tell me the best avenue to get tickets for the 2nd one? Thanks!
Genuinely so proud of the guys. Really stepped it up tonight.

Now this is a playoff match-up. We don't like them, and they don't like us. If there is only one match you are attending this year, this is the one. Predictions? Thoughts? Snarky comments at the expense of Phoenix? Lets f'n go!
I'm posting early to make sure those who can't attend in person have plenty of time to figure out their watch options. The match will be on CBS Sports Network, and you'll need some kind of paid TV (cable/sat/etc) to watch it there. Estrella (KOAT-TV2) is also showing it. You can watch Estrella with an antenna locally. If you are located outside of the USA, you can watch the playoff match on Youtube.
Ideally though, watch this in person at Isotopes Park (The Lab). The atmosphere is going to be nuts!

Next up is our first home playoff match on Sunday Nov 3rd. Against Phoenix diving. At home. Do you think we let off the throttle a bit too much entering post season? Will we show up big on the 3rd? Have your say here!
If we could keep the same energy that we're seeing in stoppage time throughout even half of the game, need to have that fight.

We're finally at the last match of the 2024 regular season. We're in first in the West, and that won't be changing. What are your predictions for the match? Will Quill put out a team looking to start winning into playoffs, or will he play some players who need more match time? While Memphis 901 has already punched their playoff ticket, with a win, they could be fighting for a home playoff match.
#2 Vegas, is playing North Carolina FC. #3 Sacramento Republic FC is playing #4 Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. This means, with a win this evening, Memphis would be sitting at 51 pts. Any of those other three teams losing, and Memphis hits top four in the West with a win. A draw between #3 and #4 won't protect them from being passed by Memphis. So I would expect a very motivated 901 tonight.
Are any of you buying that cool blackout night merch? Are you creating any blackout night themed food for the tailgate? How pumped are you for this match?

Hey y'all!
My name is Ryan and I am one of the organizers for the 1. FC Köln USA Fan Club (you can call the team Cologne, FC Köln, effzeh, or simply FC). We do a meetup every year with our fans in a different city where we watch one of our matches on TV and attend a local soccer match. We've met in Cincinnati (my hometown), Chicago, Madison, Omaha, and Washington, DC. Now we're meeting up this weekend in Albuquerque!
We'll be meeting up for drinks Friday night at Lizard Tail Brewing, and then watching our match (on delay, no spoilers, please) against Paderborn on Saturday at Bosque Brewing. After that we'll be attending the NMU match! If you're interested in the Bundesliga (even if it isn't Cologne) you're welcome to join us! We'll be hanging out at the tailgate before the match for a while, too. We reached out to the Curse and Black Diamonds privately, but I wanted to make sure others see this in case they are interested. We'd love to see some more people supporting Köln and the Bundesliga. If you have any questions, let me know, but you're welcome to join us! You can find all of the info about the event at our website [www.effzehusa.com/2024]
Here's a basic rundown of our itinerary:
FRIDAY
07:00PM until late - Meet ’n’ Greet and drinks at Lizard Tail Brewing
SATURDAY
11:00AM - Meeting at Bosque Brewing
11:15AM - Watch Game First Half of the Game
12:00PM - Half Time: Jersey Contest
12:15PM - Watch Second Half of the Game
01:00PM - Trivia & hangout
03:00PM - Tailgate w/ The Curse & Black Diamonds at the Isotopes Stadium South Parking lot
06:15PM - Head into the stadium
07:00PM - Kick Off
Post Game: Head over to Sister Bar downtown
SUNDAY

Hopefully we'll see some of you there, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Cheers,
Ryan

We absolutely do not look like a top team out there. Everyone trying to dribble instead of passing. Smh
