The emphasis on building the 2025 roster appears to be on identifying players with higher ceilings than many of the players they have brought in in the past, but ones who also carry more risk because they have not established themselves yet in USL.
⚽️Goals: Arango 9’, Martínez 28’, Martínez 34’
Not much to read into for me. Closed door friendly, so have no idea how we looked. Plus, based on goalscorers I’m guessing San Jose put out a decently strong side. So the Quakes did what they should do
In a telling omission, the MBFC leadership page no longer lists the founding Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Christina Ferrante. Her LinkedIn confirms she ended her tenure in January 2025.
Ferrante shepherded the rollout of the original logo designed by Christopher Payne.
When the new sub-optimal logo appeared, we began hearing rumors that Ferrante had been left out of the re-design process and that Mike DeGiuilo’s sister-in-law actually designed it.
In the end, an original employee with two degrees in graphic design and years of experience in marketing college sports at the NCAA D1 and D2 level no longer fit the business model for DeGiulio’s failing venture.
Good luck on the other side, Christina!
It's definitely been a busy and competitive offseason. https://medium.com/the-union-report-fan-based-reporting-on-the/the-best-offseason-move-by-each-usl-championship-western-division-club-851d18094cdf?sk=20df1abe320366990e551ef33d42821a
Anyone know any potential rumors who they getting for goalkeeper? Like actual names
Do we have a full roster and who will goalkeep? It’s less than a month away.
The Earthquakes just released their preseason schedule, and they are hosting MBFC on Feb. 1. Unfortunately, it is closed door, but it should be our first look at what Jordan is planning in 2025.
Became interested in if there were any players with possible pro ability in our immediate area (up to about the San Jose area for now). Here are five college players who look very interesting.
Jeremy is a really nice guy with a lot of experience. Glad to have him on the club. https://medium.com/the-union-report-fan-based-reporting-on-the/jeremy-clark-brings-goalkeeper-expertise-to-monterey-bay-f-c-in-new-role-as-first-assistant-coach-b127c08b7458?sk=44a371f3c973dbc92b31e588db5e007e

Collection for Plane Banner? Who is up to raise money to have a plane fly over the games with a banner saying "Mike Out Now!" Or "Fire Mike Now!"
Given the fog we wouldn't be able to have someone draw it in the sky!
