This movie used air on the channel a couple times back in the early 2000's or so it was a non Japanese Kaiju like movie. It has a Kaiju/Giant Monster made by these Aliens I think it awoken from it slumber it refused to fight for the aliens or something who was in orbit of earth so they made another to fight the 1st one. The Movie ended taking the 1st Kaiju by a couple of helicopters away, after it defeated the 2nd kaiju saving the earth.
I cannot figure out anything else about this movie.
I remember it takes place in LA and aired between 2004-2008. It's about an alien invasion and a rag tag group of survivors. They are running through the streets and have a battle and the father and son who are the main characters have a bonding moment of forgiveness for trauma.
The son disappointed the dad because he didn't follow on his foot steps for a job or dropped out of college.
The biggest deal was the son that the story followed, he was played by someone who was like a big name teen actor. I vividly remember him has a dorky best friend in movies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are eureka and warehouse 13 the only shows that are connected in a universe?
I was a huge fan of the channel before and after the channel changed its title and theme, but I wonder why the channel no longer has the original films on it's broadcast? As of 2019, Syfy has more or less been airing major blockbuster films on their lineup instead of Frankenfish, A.I. Assault, Boa vs Python and Skeletonman + others.
If you had one SYFY TV series you would recommend, what would it be?
For me Stargate SG-1
i’ve found it before on google but no matter how hard i look now, i can’t find it. I can’t remember much but the basis of the movie is a bunch of young adults trapped in a forest and i believe it’s based on fairy tale characters, like old book characters. i remember the girl looks in the water and her face is all messed up. someone help. thank you so much. i loved it as a kid!
Just rewatched episode 10 of the second season. Give the ark a third season! This is the only show I watch on syfy and largely the only reason I keep cable. Episode 9 through 12 are very good sci fi on the level of the best next generation episodes. Show needs a third season!
This is my first time watching the show…Anyone know for sure if the last 2 episodes are out of order on Amazon or any other streaming service? It seems to me that Sins of the Father should be the season 2 finale. It ended on a cliffhanger with Duke and Nathan fighting and a shot goes off. While watching I assumed it was the finale but then Silent Night comes on and Audrey isn’t missing and Nathan & Duke are not fighting. But then Season 3 Episode 1 picks up exactly where Sins of the Father ends???
It’s not the first time I’ve noticed this kind of thing but on other streaming services.
Not a huge deal I just think it’s weird. I can’t be the only one that noticed.
Season 3 revealed brothers Save and Vice had millions stashed away that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Further, they own half the town. Granted, these are Haven's foremost secret keepers, but is it ever revealed to the audience how they came by the money in the first place? And why they invest it so heavily in Haven? The town's insurance rates are crippling. 😂 They even tried to swoop in and buy up the Gray Gull after Duke's disappearance... somehow connected to their big secret, as they exchange their textbook super Secret brotherly glances back and forth when questioned about it.
Syfy is a joke they repeat same movies all day even the same shows all day
Movies Saw harry potter John wick
Shows The ark The twilight
Hey, I'm trying to find this book I read a while back and I'd love to read it again. The main character gets bonded with a symbiote, but it wasn't his choice. The symbiote tried to control him, but he's got a strong mind and resists it. It also makes him stronger and faster. It's not the Symbiote Wars books, though. Later on, he ends up in another series through a wormhole or something like that. Sound familiar?
Hey yall, I've been searching forever to try and find a movie that I watched as a kid. I've only seen it once, but I'll try my best to recall as many details as I can.
It was a movie about zombies (or some sort of altered humans) and had a very strong steam punk feel to it. I remember one of the main transports being a small train like flying vehicle and the solders in the movie looked A LOT like nazis, and the stereotypical oversized weapons. The plot from I remember was a group of survivors trying to get to a shuttle headed for Mars (or earth I can't remember exactly) to escape, and help repopulate, and rebuild. At the end they get all the zombies on a giant space ship and send to the planet after the remaining humans already left.
I know it's not exactly a lot of info but I'd really appreciate the help on this one y'all
When the channel name changed back in 2009, everyone made fun of it including talk show hosts. They did good though, the cringe name was ahead of their time, works perfectly now. Can’t believe it’s been 15 years!
…on #YouTubeTV instead of what listed, “The Purge: Election Year”. What’s going on?
I just finished re-watching Incorporated. Such an amazing show. They built this amazing world, and were setting up for a fantastic second season. It's so upsetting they allowed the series to have that kind of cliffhanger and just cancel it.
On a similar vein, Blood Drive was such an inventive, beautiful show. Every episode was influenced around a different gore horror film. There was a lot of mystery into things and they left on a great cliffhanger of Blood Island.
I'm glad the Expanse got picked up but that almost didn't make it either.
That said, I'm always impressed going through the wikipedia page of SyFy though and seeing what absolute BANGERS came out of this channel. I hope we see another era of SyFy swinging for the fences and making a bunch of cool inventive shows. Resident Alien is definitely in that realm.
