Hello friends of obscure guitars, and the effects and
amps that love them that are also not common.
We're all about vintage and cutting-edge obscure guitar stuff, is that so bad? We just don't want to see the same student model guitar everyday.
-Dear Friends From around the world-
/r/bluesguitarist - This is the go-to spot to hone in your vibrato
/r/metalguitar/ Exactly like bluesguitarist with distortion.
/r/luthier - These people are the craftiest folks on reddit. A lot of talent here.
r/7String - They have a string for each day of the week, which is spent partying recklessly.
/r/bass - Bunch of slapping going on.
/r/offset - This is where those funky Fenders go, and other rad stuff.
/r/ToobAmps - These people are the tube wizards, making amps out of whatever is in the desk drawer.

/r/diypedals/ - Let the solder dry without blowing on it, or you're in for some cold solder points.

I wanted to share a picture of this stunning bass I commissioned by Dallas Seger (body/assembly) and EGC (neck). I had a mangled Destroyer II as a first guitar, and back then my dad had a Carvin Star bass with a Kahler. I tried to blend these into one unique, but still grounded concept. Cannot wait to play this bass.

First official flare.
It's from the brand Aria Pro II, I'm just amused by kind show off putting it is. It's like if a Strat and. Les Paul had a bastard child.
Since the reception to my other post was warmly received, here's a second installment of the J.B. Player USA coney-chasm. Of course the company built more conventional models (if it could be had from Mighty Mite, they could do it), but the Buick and Mercury hold the most intrigue for me due to just how obscure they are. If there's any interest in one of these for J.B. Player USA's other models, please make your voice known.
I have spent days scouring the internet for images and information about the pre-production USA-made J.B. Player guitars made between 1981 and 1983. I have returned the world's foremost expert on a guitar brand only the most hardcore new wave freaks will care about. I actually got the attention of Steve Bartek himself for my efforts. Please send help.
It's a washburn g4 idk anything else about it, and there's practically no youtube videos on this either. Being sold for $300
Hello again I know I've already posted about this guitar before but it's giving me loads of problems and I just want to know if it's worth anything. If it's not worth anything I'll probably just paint it or something but before I do it i just want to know if it's rare or not
Bought this in Japan 1968. A friend of my father was an exporter and it was his sales sample.
I started a channel to highlight the weird, random instruments I've found at Goodwill in 60 seconds. Thought y'all might appreciate this vid on my E-110 (Teisco's "tulip guitar"). Love this thing, but the bridge inflicts serious pain every time I use it.
Hi
I bought this in the very early 80s from a guy. No idea who made it, no markings. Maybe hand made?
12 Strings, two outputs. Probably 70s made cause it was old looking in the 80s.
Anybody know what it is?
