My Red T-40. Got this in approximately 2012-2013. $300. The guy called me as I was driving away asking if I could come back and give it back because he had immediate sellers remorse.

Bought this at a flea market for $20! After cleaning it's in perfect condition

Is there a something like a 100 watt head version of this I can gig with? I absolutely love the sound but it's not exactly loud enough to for clubs and bars

My first bass, a 1980 Peavey T-40, still in regular rotation 30 years later.

I love this thing. I’ll never sell or trade it. Picked it up used for $180 in 1994 when I decided I wanted to play bass. My mom’s boyfriend at the time suggested it, as he was a professional musician, and felt it was the best instrument for the money. Great dude. Great bass.

Hail the Cvlt

Got all my bases covered now. VTM 60 head, 3120 head with a facelift and 6ca7EH tubes, Musician 400 head repainted green, Mark IV Citation head, 5150 cab with (2) Swamp Thangs and (2) Governors in an ‘X’ pattern, and a T-40 with rosewood fretboard. Not pictured: a Minx bass combo amp and a Mark IV Bass head. I’m finally content. All hail the Cvlt!

XXX II issues

Mid band practice last night, this thing shut off. Kind of like a car out of gas, sputtered out, came back for a few minutes, then out again. I replaced the fuse, and it came back again, then dead again. If I give it the old Nintendo smacks, the lights flicker. I know there’s other fuses inside to check. Any other ideas?

Classic Chorus 130

Upgrading amp from the gross little Spider IV practice amp I've had for about 10 years to one I can use gigging. Saw a Classic Chorus 130 near me for about £100, does anyone know if these are any good? I'm big into all those post-punk bands with JC120s, so, on paper, it looks right up my street. I don't have a car however so might have an issue if it's too heavy, and will be playing pretty small bars so will have an issue if it's too loud. It's 2x12 and comes with footswitch. Seems to be in decent quality.

Thanks for any help!

Can any confirm is the reverb on the Bandit is foot switchable?

I’ve seen some conflicting info, some people saying the effects loop is foot switchable, people selling Bandits with factory foot switches marked “reverb”. Who knows. Maybe you guys?

I can’t believe I’m one of those people with a typo in the title.

Peavey predator

I took my peavey predator into the shop to get fixed yesterday. Was my first guitar 25 years ago and now it will be mine to play again. Super excited!

Is it worth it?

Came across a peavy studio pro 112 at a local music shop for $199 is that price worth it or should I try to negotiate on it. Never had a peavy before but always wanted one. (Shop wouldn't let me take photos so I found one online in similar condition to post a photo)

Help find my first amp.

I'm trying to find my first amp, a Peavey Bass combo my dad got me around 93-95ish. Is there a site with all the old amps w/ pics and specs?

I know for sure it was large enough to sit on without my feet touching the ground, yet light enough for my skinny ass to move on my own if I had to. (still super heavy, but in a pinch I could do it.) It was by far the largest amp on stage and I often got looks or comments being so young/inexperienced. We called it Mother and I miss it like family.

Don't know why my dad would get such a monster for a kid just starting. He doesn't know guitars, so probably just went big to impress.

Things I know for sure. It was a single speaker. It did not have the EQ with the sliders, just knobs. It had a passive and active input.

Looking at pics online, I'm pretty sure it did not have the silver-whatever those are called panels on the side of the speaker mesh. I can't say if it had the blue bar across the top, but I know it did not have any other color designs.

Help me Peavey peeps. Now in my 40's, I have the cash, I have the space. I want my mommy.

Family portrait

I felt my little group of cvltists was lookin’ sharp so thought I’d share 🍻 And TBH that first gen Fender Rumble weights as much as a Peavey so honorable mention to it for supporting the team 😂 💪 I have noticed of late that a lot of the screaming deals on these old amps are fewer than they were… the Cvlt must be growing! And I don’t really need any more combos anyways probably a good thing… Now some heads could round out the group but then I’ll need cabs… 🤔💸

1975 Peavey Pacer

Newest member of the family. I've wanted one of these for a while. Found one at Guitar Center in "good" condition and had it shipped to me. Looks awesome, doesn't work lol. I really want this amp so if I can talk them into a partial refund I'll keep it and see if I can figure it out. If not then it's going back 😞

I am looking for the wiring diagram for a Generation 1 (US made). Or a pic of a original, unchanged control cavity. Any help is much appreciated.

Looking at buying this. Question about bridge.

Looking at buying this peavy nitro and this is the best pic of the bridge i could see. Is this the same bridge it was built with in the late 80s?
