Can’t wait to put the summer wheels on in a few months !
My MINI just got her first check engine light and is now in the garage, for now I am driving a regular car, so, if I park next to another MINI is it still a rule #1? Is it a rule #1 in spirit?
I googled a couple models but did not find anything besides the suction options which I dont like.
Might be a stupid question, Would I be able to put a downpipe or a turbo meant for the Mini Cooper S Model would I be able to put it on a Mini Cooper Base Non-S Model
Anyone have photos of wrapping the area where the scuttles are located on the side of the mini in 3-m Piano Gloss Black
Hi Folks, my mini has an steady clack clack sound that only happens when the engine is running in neutral with the clutch engaged. If I depress the clutch pedal the sound goes away, then will usually return when I release the pedal. Sometimes with a couple presses of the clutch the sound goes away. Sometimes the sound doesn't happen at all. It has been happening for a couple years, with no apparent negative affects, and has occured both before and after I had a new clutch installed. It is kind of an irritating sound, but I'm not sure if I should be concerned. Anyone else experienced this, or have an idea about the cause?
Waiting for Summer
Has anyone done any mods to their F66 yet?
Thank you for the information. I found a few parts online that look like they’re correct but there are multiple options. I’m happy to be unhurt but want to get this fixed as it’s an eyesore.
Traffic stopped and before I could come to a complete stop, I rear ended someone. No airbags deployed but the radiator is clearly damaged and it was leaking fluid. 2011 Mini cooper S. 6 speed. This is the worst day of my life.
Couldnt get on the site last night, came back today to a shiny new site. So much easier to navigate.
I couldn’t help but take this aesthetically pleasing photo of a Cooper I saw peeking around the corner the other week in Germany
Meet Sparky! My SE
I am about to buy a 2022 Cooper S Convertible and was wondering how difficult it would be to find a set of black seats to replace the brown ones that are currently in this car? How expensive is this 'upgrade'?
Hey Mini-ons!
I’ve been following this channel and am aware of the higher maintenance and premium fuel costs. I’m considering purchasing a used 2015 Mini Cooper S 2D with 100k miles for $7,950, 4 owners and no reported accidents. I live in a major metro area in the US and typically drive only 1,250 to 1,500 miles a year. I'm looking for a reliable small city car. Any thoughts or recommendations on engine condition, mileage, etc., would be greatly appreciated.
Curious to see if anyone also made any adjustments since any drive is a fun ride!
Planning to buy F55 SD for the wife, which I'll occasionally also use. likely year 2015-2016. UK.
Been reading that this generation has good engines and gearboxes, which is exciting.
One tuning shop is quoting the following with their maps: 167hp -> 240hp, 360NM -> 492NM.
While that looks very impressive, I'd like to find out if these cars can take and if any of you guys got experience with remapping these.
I suspect this bmw engine will take it without too much issue given that it's B48. But what about gearboxes? I didn't find specific information that would show that either manual or auto gearbox options for 2015-2016 would hold this torque & hp. Could someone share some insight please?
I just got my drivers license at 28 years old. In my defense, I’ve always lived in big cities with lots of public transportation. Always wanted a Mini or a Beetle. Went with this 2012 gem.
Hi Mini friends,
unfortunately, my 2.5 month old Mini got rear-ended a few days ago. The damage doesn‘t look too bad, but she’ll definitely need a new rear bumper, light cover, and fendertrim, is my guess.
I’m wondering where to get her repaired since she’s still covered under warranty. The dealership? Or would a collision repair shop (recommended by the other party’s insurance) be fine as long as they use OEM parts? Advice greatly appreciated!
