I plan to soon get an f10 m5, and wanted to get a clean build. I already have an idea of all I want to do, I will list, and I would very much appreciate input in the event that I need supporting mods etc. Also wondering with my listed mods how much I would make to the crank, and wheels. I’m just now gaining some “car knowledge” and I wanna be lead in the right direction. I plan to get upgraded charge pipe and cooler Front mount intakes. Catless downpipes, Transmission tune Straight piped exhaust, Stage 2 mhd tune, and Upgraded fuel injectors

I am looking for some opinions on what model and trim I should get for a daily driver. I dont understand the differences between the SUV models. I am looking for one of the five passengers. I am not afraid to go used so suggestions on what model years to look for and avoid would be great. I currently drive a Chev Equinox. I like the look of the X6 and X4. Some models have a very "old man" look to them. Do i have to get an "M" model to get away from that look? I am looking to upgrade on status and performance from the Equinox. Any suggestions?

Originally I was considering a M5 Comp or M3 Comp, as I need 4 doors and AWD; but I’ve always had a soft spot for the X5M. There’s a few in my price range lightly used, and I’m wondering if this vehicle is a worthy purchase? I’ve only owned sport sedans (Audi) and a slightly larger vehicle would help me as I haul around my dog, my fiancé, and random things. This can be done in a sedan (heck even a coupe) but the SUV style is appealing to me.

Are they solid built? Have much issues for those who own one? Any years better than the others?

I’m going to be upgrading soon and I’m curious to see if I should go back a year or two to get an M car (F80/F82). My other option is to stay around the same year and get a M340i for the B58. I’m really wanting a four door since my weekend car is a two door, unless someone has a good argument for two coupes.

I usually remote start the car 5 mins prior to leaving but it seems like even that’s not enough. I have a 2023 M340i and i was wondering should i wait for that to go away before driving?

it’s being sold by a dealership for ~3.5k USD. only noticeable con is it has a fading clear coat; its carfax report come in clean. i know nothing about BMWs besides that they’re typically nice vehicles, so anything to know about this car/is it overpriced? i’m based in the southeastern US btw

Hey does anyone know how to re-sync a bmw key. Had my m340i battery unplugged for a bit, now the key functions on the fob don’t work but the car still detects the key. Anyone how to re-sync the key?

I have a 2023 m4 comp. I'm debating on installing downpipes. Do I need to first tune my car before the downpipes? I already replaced the exhaust, just trying to open it up a little bit more with the down pipes. Thanks in advance 🙂

I'm looking to buy a 2016 228i from a BMW dealer, but was told that they cannot legally sell me the car yet as it has an open recall. (Recall #24V-608:474 ENGINE COOLANT PUMP) The alleged fix is a small shield over the connector, which seems like it shouldn't take long to fix, yet the car has been waiting for this recall to be fixed since August. As far as I can tell, almost all cars with the N20/N26 were affected by this issue, so with so many cars being affected, how is the recall not fixed yet?

In my 2009 535i, I have been trying to turn on bluetooth. however when i try to turn it on it stays unchecked. Also my aux does not work and the SOS is turned off. Does anyone know what’s wrong with it?
