Has Hasbro ever given a reason why they stopped making female figures in 1988?
For the ARAH line? They made one per year ever since the line started in 1982, but didn’t make any more after Jinx in 1987.
It wasn’t until the Ninja Force Scarlet came out in 1992 that a new female toy was made. Then no female figures again in 1993 and 1994.
Was always curious about this as a kid growing up with the toyline.

Two thoughts on the announced crossover movie
1-I wonder if the producers and influencers from Hasbro will learn from past mistakes (both in film and wave 1 of Classified) and put forth a team of Joes with a look and feel closer to the iconic characters we’re used to
2-I wonder what the tie-in toys will look like? Will they be similar in scale to the old MASK figures, 2inch Joes with Transformer vehicles?

Why have the G.I. Joe movies been so much worse than the Transformers movies?
As a kid that watched both I always felt that the cartoons were about even with maybe a slight nod to the Joes but as an adult the movies aren't even close. Why do you think it played out like that? Are CGI robots just automatically that much cooler?

I Made Some Cobra Coasters
I set out to make these just for me, then I decided to look at all the potential uniform and emblem colors and got carried away from there. They are about 4 inches and diameter and close to .3 inches thick with the cork backing.
