Who would’ve thought when watching this scene that things would’ve turned out the way they did for these 4. One dead and the other three in a love triangle with a baby involved.

At this point he has: 1- pulled a fake gun on Zig 2- told Zoe after her assault that he “knows she’s going through a hard time right now” but that she had to tell Mia that they didn’t fool around at his party 3- lied to cops and told them Zig had drugs in his locker when he was basically homeless 4- tried to get Winston to LIE IN COURT at Zoe’s trial all so Mia wouldn’t know that they literally DIDN’T even kiss at his party?? Like am I missing something bc how could anyone possibly support thin man… he just presents as a rich spoiled brat that flips his lid whenever things don’t slightly go his way…

The effects of T were done so well like that’s literally what it feels like. The red face, acting erratic, blurry / spiraling vision, the meth breath, the dehydration, heavy breathing. It was a trip to watch and I just think they handled it so well. And yes I’m high on what he had lol. But wait I just realized if he was smoking it for that long he should’ve gotten a pipe bc that’s how it mostly used but to each their own

Just randomly started watching jr high. I knew I would eventually watch it and here we are. I gotta say I’m hooked more than I thought I’d be. It starts off a little too campy and PSA for kids whereas Degrassi TNG is very much into the sensationalizing of the topics over trying to teach kids what not to do. But it seems to get into a little more of the drama while still keeping its message as the season goes on.

I’m here for it. Also didn’t know Caitlin was questioning her sexuality. Does that ever come up in TNG? Also interesting how Spike and Snake are basically background actors for this first part but I like that we recognize the kids in the school before everyone gets their own episode. Makes it feel real. I know TnG did that a little but not as much. We had Clare make appearances before she was a regular cast member and Marco had a little thing before he became part of the group and Lexi/Alex but Jr high seems to do it better.

Still debating on whether I want to watch The Kids of Degrassi St since there’s no connection besides some of the actors being the same.

Edit: also I think Joey is a great kid actor. I’m glad they brought him back in the next gen. ALSO that theme song the first time around took me out… the second time I was head bopping the entire time! And I will continue to do so.

I have been feeling so depressed as of lately. I realize I'm just alone. I've been going through stuff alone since I was only 7 years old. That's over 2 decades worth of stuff now.

Watching Degrassi Goes Hollywood during a time like this when I'm feeling depressed and I feel like I only have one true friend, who doesn't live in the same state as me. So it's much more difficult.

Maybe one day I'll have my Marco or my Ellie.

I just watched the scene when KC messes up during the basketball game and gets pissed off.

He goes and throws a tantrum and 🙄 … just ugh lol If it wasnt for the fact he was throwing stuff around, you’d never know he was supposed to be mad.

Outside of his character being super blah, his acting is terrible. He seems like he’s always anxious. That’s like the only genuine emotion his character gives. Maybe nervous being on camera? But it’s all I see when I look at him 🤷‍♀️ the only thing he really has is the girl drama, and he’s only got those cause the girls was giving

Book is a mystery thriller by Rick Mofina. Third book in the series called Into the fire. He is a Canadian author maybe he liked Degrassi.

For me, it’s Marco and Spinner. Their friendship never made sense to me. They had nothing in common and at first only seemed to be friends because of the band. I also don’t understand why Marco continued to be friends with Spinner when he was being homophobic toward him. I know Spinner eventually became a better person, but I still didn’t understand why Marco remained friends with him after everything he put him through.

Jt and Liberty's child would be 18 this year, so if they theoretically had child of their own now, a reboot could start in around 12 years.

It could be that Jt's child (now adult) could be touring degrassi with his kid, and when they get to the memorial plaque he recognises the photo from the memory box liberty made for him when she put him up for adoption.

This could then lead into him trying to find Liberty, maybe bringing Sarah (liberty) in for an episode or two like when Emma found Shane.

This would be a cool way to start the new series in a similar way to Degrassi TNG, mirroring toby getting toured around the school with his dad.And adding some lore into the new reboot from the start, like Emma being Spike's baby.
