Not much to say besides the fact that most of the characters in season 8 are just annoying and CANNOT act...like at all?? It’s actually kinda irritating to watch bc its so...bad?? ESPECIALLY Connor and alie. I don’t remember it being this terrible but my god
So I’ve been watching degrassi on repeat for over a decade and I typically focus on the first 9 seasons because that’s my jam but I have never been able to bring myself to like Sean and Emma. They just don’t make any sense to me. I’m not sure what they’re supposed to have in common other than trauma bonding over the Rick situation and I’m not sure why I’m supposed to care about them when Sean comes back. What do these two even talk about? What do they do together? Why does everyone love them so much? I’m very genuine in wanting to know because I love Sean and Emma is one of my favourite characters as much as I don’t like her. But they just don’t seem like a good fit.
rewatching degrassi,
Season 3/4 Liberty is super close with Manny and most of their interactions post-shooting are together without Emma. Personally I want to say Manny, but I’m curious to see what everyone thinks.
I know in Degrassi Goes Hollywood that Craig said that he and Ashley toured together before going their separate ways but in my head canon I feel like she moved back to London and started an indie band that had moderate success in Europe but that wasn’t enough for Ashley, so she decided to pursue a solo career.
I’m still PISSEDDDDD off that only girls had to go to the self respect seminar.Such a double standard but side note why didn’t Holly J have to go to the seminar I’m aware she didn’t have sex with sav but she was still engaging in semi sexual activities.
I always wondered this. I’m guessing that Degrassi & Lakehurst merged as one school district since Alli went to Degrassi as a niner and Sav was a Lakehurst transfer. So if Lakehurst didn’t burn down, Alli most likely would’ve gone to Lakehurst.
I also think that Bianca, Owen & Fitz were Lakehurst transfers in season 7 since they were niners at the time even with the retcons. Plus Tristan, who is Owen’s brother went to middle school with Zig & Tori and they went to a different middle school than Maya. Which makes me think Tristan, Zig & Tori would’ve been going to Lakehurst if it didn’t burn down. It’s implied that Katie & Marisol always went to Degrassi and they have been best friends since kindergarten, and Imogen has said she’s been going to Degrassi for a couple years in season 11, and Mo first appeared in season 9 but became a character in season 11. So I think they were always at Degrassi.
Along with Alli, Zig, Tristan, and Tori, I can also see Jonah, Grace & Tiny being Lakehurst students if it didn’t burn down in season 7
Zoe won with 59 votes
Lowkey simps I think are
Tristian, Manny, and Liberty that’s just me though personally
1st. Manny 215 votes 2nd. Emma 207 votes 3rd. Jimmy 82
Vote for Two people boy and boy girl and girl or Boy and Girl to take the crowns of Degrassi King/Queen remember if someone is already in a category they can’t be in King/Queen category
I’d say Emma lol since her fight with Alex her hands have progressively gotten better 😂
Sav has a date with Keke Palmer! Fiona has a crush on a girl in her art class! Drew and Bianca are…being black mailed by a gang member after murdering a man who was trying to rape Bianca?? Like what a tone shift
I'm watching Degrassi all the way through for the first time. I'm on season 5 right now and I've hated Manny for 3 seasons now. I don't think I've ever seen a character in any show break the girl code this much.
Like, yes she's been wronged by others, but it always seems like justified karma. The girl can't pick up on hints or learn a lesson.
Does she ever get better?!?!?
Like Degrassi touched on everything and racism was once like I wanted too see more cause I feel like Racism is a strong topic Degrassi definitely should have talked about more like racial profiling, being pulled over by the police, and using racist jokes they aren’t jokes
Okay, only people that watched Sons of Anarchy are gonna get this, but I'm currently on a rewatch from SOA and they constantly mention JT (short for John Teller, a main characters father who's dead). So now I'm constantly SO confused when they mention JT because my first thought is always JT from Degrassi. And JT from Degrassi does so not fit into the world of SOA lmao
Especially in this scene specifically with Lola.
The hairstyle and his blue eyes, with that jawline?????? I mean the boy looked G O O D!
This scene was in season 3, so I believe his character was 16 or 17 here. But for his age, his style and maturity level was pretty high to me lol...or it could just be him being a introvert that plays into his chill personality.
The scene in the video was cringe though cuz this was when Lola was talking his ear off about her pregnancy nonsense and he ended up getting a boner when she brushed her arm against his shoulder💀
But I always felt Hunter had that young Leo Dicaprio or young Jonny Depp vibe visually...idk maybe I'm pushing it here, but he just so fineeee😭😭
What y'all think?
so glad jake decided to clock clare’s tea after her blowup at above the dot… like no offense girl, but doing all of that over someone who clearly doesn’t care anymore + bringing up their dead girlfriend is only gonna make you look bad.
Am I crazy? Or wasn’t it extremely obvious that this wasn’t a CIS-man?
They acted like the big reveal to Fiona was gonna be such a shocker 🙄
She was going through her SA while he was worried about his cancer. I love that they didn't need to say what the problem was, they both just knew that they were both having struggles with something and knew that it didn't need to be talked about.
Tell me liiiiiess
Degrassi & Saved by the bell
OK, so I’m watching Degrassi the next generation for the second time. i’m currently on season 10 and there are just a lot of things about her that make me mad. I grow to love her so please don’t comment anything on how she gets better or she’s a good character because I’m aware. Some of the things I’d like to talk about is how she got mad at chantay for not making the power squad and then getting mad at the dance team because they didn’t want to perform the day they formed their group. All she cared about was popularity, and it was kind of annoying. My next reason is the whole Bianca and Drew thing. How is she going to forgive Drew yet be so awful to Bianca. Don’t get me wrong. Bianca shouldn’t have gone for Drew knowing he had a girlfriend, but Drew is the one who hurt Alli. He knew he had a girlfriend and still blamed it on Bianca. He took no responsibility for it and Alli doubled down and sent her photos around as if she hasn’t gone through the same thing. The after doing all that she still had the audacity to blame all her problems on Bianca when her parents found out all the stuff she had done.
Or any actor being an asshole behind the scenes?
I ranted on this thread a year ago and got mauled by the community, so I rewatched recently to see if I missed something and why people defended her so much but this just made me question even MORE why people even liked her 😭😭

Had to come right to my friends and share my pain at this call out from a literal child.
