basically the title lol. what are some storylines (or couples) that you wished went further but didn’t come to fruition bc (1) the character left, (2) storyline was dropped, or (3) it was resolved but too quickly. also if these storylines continued what do you think would have happened? the ones i think the most about are:
what if cam didn’t die? how would camaya be handled in the rest of season 12 and season 13? what about miles and zig?
in the same breath, what if tori stayed? does zoe still fit? if so, how?
what if declan never goes back to new york? are him and holly j endgame? does fiona still become who she is?
there’s so many others but every time i rewatch (especially the later seasons) i think about these what ifs bc of how much would have changed!
When it was building up that Zoe was developing a crush on Grace I really thought it was going somewhere and I low key shipped it. But then all of a sudden Grace likes Zig? And then ends up dating Jonah? I really thought she was lying at first for some dramatic reason when she told Zoe she wasn't gay and liked Zig. Especially after that bet with Tiny and Zig and she ended getting that girls number.
But why does Tristan get absolutely doe eyed about every little hint of attention. Just realized I haven't watched NC on Netflix and my lord does this boy fall all over every little thing This pic is him going gaga after a grade 10 snaps him a response to their coffee date
I’m watching that episode now. I wonder how they faked that. The way his body snapped in half looked like it hurt lol.
Did anyone else notice how seasons 6-7 had some of the darkest lighting in the series—and for good reason? These seasons held some of the most intense and dramatic storylines: JT getting murdered, Sean leaving to join the army, Alex turning to stripping to avoid eviction only for the money to be squandered, Spinner’s cancer diagnosis, and Darci’s assault. The darker lighting seemed intentional, capturing the gravity of these moments and making the episodes feel more exciting, relatable, and emotionally deep.
But then comes season 8, with its brighter lighting and a complete shift in focus. Real-life teen drama gave way to more school-oriented storylines, with cheesier plots and characters who felt like filler (some didn’t even last long enough to justify their opening credits spot!). It felt like such a drastic and awkward transition from the raw, impactful tone of the earlier seasons.
What are your thoughts? Did the lighting and tone shifts affect how you experienced the show?
Has anyone else watched Ginny & Georgia and noticed how half of the cast is from Degrassi?!? Literally Frankie, Esme, Sav (hilarious they make him like a grown adult in the show) AND Mayor Hollingsworth!!!
So I’m watching DNC for the first time and i I don’t think i’ve heard 1 bad song from maya this whole show. Like the get off song was mid but in DNC she is EATING
is there any reason to why they didn’t officially release these ?
Last Exit is peak. btw
Has anyone watched the show Workin Moms on Netflix? The actor who played Sav is a reoccurring character in season 7.
He's aged beautifully! But not a fan of the heavy facial hair on him
drew and claire are the worst pairing of all time. so unnecessary. it would’ve been way cuter to just let them have a wholesome friendship
Definitely Sean, Jimmy and Spinner.
If Clare wanted to "help" a bad boy, Fitz seemed way more susceptible to her help and would have been a cute bf for her
Was there ever a reason Terri was written off the way she was? It just feels so odd how she was handled. Just curious.
I personally the biggest what if and worse case scenario was if that were to happen and that essentially became the original pregnancy storyline of Manny.
im on season 14 episode 5 of my first watch past seaoson 8. does she get better ???? I thought maybe after the SA trial she wouldve gotten better but NAH. she has not. she is a biotch. cant stand her so far.
I was watching a random movie from 2005 on Tubi and look who I found!
I was stunned but not because it was Mike Lobell, but because of the hair. It was a terrible wig but he did really well in the movie and I never once thought of Jay.
Choose your favourite season storyline of Manny 💕
Lol could not believe I stumbled across this gem. Located on the 4th floor, if anyone wants to see it in person.
I don’t hate jay in fact i think he is charismatic and good actor. I just feel like his stans overhype him too much. Like i have seen post about him having the best redemption arc, when is actually spinner that has one the best had redemption arc. Or him being the best actor( i do think is good actor, but not the best) when it is actually Craig and Eli that are one of the best actors on the show. I have also seen post about him being the most attractive in degrassi when he in fact looks to old to go there. I am not saying he is unattractive, i am just saying there other characters that look younger and more attractive than him.
Am I the only one who noticed this?
If you told me their parents separated I would believe you, because they don’t even interact with each other at all. They feel like strangers.
I feel like once Ashley and Toby got relegated to side characters, they just didn’t have enough screen time for all the sibling antics anymore. And it’s not like Paige’s brother where he’s always getting brought up because he’s connected to her friend group.
I recently started rewatching the show, and i just completely forgot how much i LOVE sean and emma together, like i get that secondhand through the screen nervousness when they’re talking because it’s just so cute and feels like deja vu right back to my freshman year of high school
I always read post and comment in this sub that good couples that happens to be popular have great chemistry, but i don’t always agree. Just because they are good together doesn’t mean that they have great chemistry. In fact they’re toxic couples that have great chemistry, but are very disliked. What i am trying to say is that good couples doesn’t always equal great chemistry. So what kind of good couple do you think don’t have great chemistry and what kind toxic couples do think have great chemistry? I will go first the good couple i believe don’t have great chemistry are Sean and Ellie and the toxic couple i believe have great chemistry are Craig and Manny.
