Anybody watched this in ITVx? What surprised me was the issue around being in men’s stadiums, even Premiership ones. I didn’t think there would be a lack of toilet cubicles for women and the players wanting privacy screens in the showers! Very eye opening!
Hey All,
Anyone here in the Denver, CO area watch the Arsenal games? I would be cool to get together with some other Arsenal fans at a bar to watch the games when they aren't super early.

Hi everyone,
I suffered a pretty nasty concussion playing volleyball almost a year ago that knocked me unconscious, and have had some lingering effects that have only recently started to clear up (thankfully), but it inspired me to conduct my own studies on the subject matter. Right now I’m conducting a study on the physiological differences (if any) between men and women when it comes to loss of consciousness due to a blow to the head, particularly in sports. My research aims to compare instances of concussions resulting in loss of consciousness across genders to analyze factors like:
I’ve been able to locate many examples from men’s sports due to greater media coverage, but I’m having difficulty finding similar examples from women’s sports. If anyone knows of publicly available footage or instances from women’s soccer that fit these criteria, I’d greatly appreciate it. Video footage is extremely helpful as it allows me to examine the occurrence visually and get the data I need more accurately, so if the game is available on YouTube or even a streaming service, that would be phenomenally helpful!
Please note, this is purely for academic purposes, and I’m committed to treating the subject matter with sensitivity and professionalism.
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions!

I went to the Champions League game between Hammarby vs. City yesterday, and I have to say, I’m feeling pretty disappointed. I was really looking forward to seeing the City players interact with the away fans (maybe even take a picture with a couple of them) but they didn’t even bother to come over and say hello to us. Meanwhile, they were taking selfies and chatting with the home fans.
I understand showing respect to the home crowd, but it felt like the traveling City fans were completely overlooked. We came out to support them too, and it would’ve been nice to get at least a wave or some acknowledgment.
Anyone else feel the same way or have similar experiences at other games?

Hi everyone,
I recently started watching the WSL this season, and I’m not from England, so I’m still learning the dynamics of women’s football in the country. One thing that’s really surprised me is how Arsenal Women seem to have a much bigger fanbase compared to Chelsea Women, at least in terms of stadium attendance.
Chelsea has been incredibly successful in recent years, with numerous WSL titles, FA Cups, and consistent performances in the Champions League. They have a star-studded roster with some of the best in the world. Despite this, their fanbase doesn’t seem to match Arsenal’s in size or visibility, especially when it comes to filling stadiums or creating that big-game atmosphere.
What’s the reason for this? Is it Arsenal’s history, branding, or something else? Chelsea has had more success recently, so why isn’t their fanbase growing at the same pace?
Would love to hear some insights from fans who’ve been following the WSL for longer!
