Thoughts about investment in WSL teams?

I’ve been following this story with interest. As much as I am no united fan, this seems like a real step backwards for women’s football and goes against the overall objective to have a healthy competitive league.

Looking closer to home, what do people think about the whole spinning off the women’s team and how that might impact us? What does it say about Clearlake’s investment plans for our women’s team?

The best Defensive Midfielders available to bring in this summer?

I think we can all agree that a DM is what we need most. We are more or less stacked in every other position.

Ingle is a solid option and does the basics well, but isn’t at the level she once was. Leupolz’s performances are hit or miss. Cuthbert is at her best playing box to box. Nusken was brought in as a DM but is much more effective going forward.

It would be brilliant if we could bring in a top DM who’s relatively young and can be a solid part of the team for years to come. Who do you think we could realistically bring in this summer?

From twitter, Harry Edwards have compiled who is out contract after the 2025 season

I know everyone is talking about Kerr's extension but I never even thought of the ones that have contracts outgoing for next season. This list is more or less half of the roster. Some need a contract renewal/extension, some don't. I bet there will be some extensions during the summer or the season.
