Hey all, Am keen to buy a season ticket for 24/25 when they go on sale. My understanding is they go on sale for new people Thursday 11th July. I love women’s football and as a local, MCWFC has become a huge favourite! 💙
But we have a choice of stands. I am happy to pay a bit extra for halfway line stands. West is all seating, East is partially taken up by press and hospitality according to the map I believe.
Does anyone have any recommendations on which side?
Also if there are games where I want to upgrade to hospitality and bring some friends along, how easy is that to do?
I remember someone asking when season tickets are likely to go on sale for next season, I've had an email today regarding this.
Current season ticket holders have until 21st June to renew, I would guess new season tickets will go on sale not long after that window closes.
There’s been a lot of unpleasantness over on r/FAWSL regarding two possibly linked stories. The one I can find in a reliable source (The Athletic) is that Nils Nielsen, Shaun Goater and Alan Mahon have left the club. This is not good news.
The thing I haven’t found anywhere reliable is that one of the club’s directors, possibly Khaldoon himself, threatened to defund the women’s team if the cases re: financial matters did not go City’s way.
Does anyone have the faintest idea what’s going on? It’s all very worrying.
Given the departures that have been announced, thought it'd be interesting to see what options we have in the current squad
Goalkeeper: Keating, MacIver (Injured)
Right Back: Casparij, Laia,
Left Back: Leila, Laia, O’Hanalon (Injured)
Centre Back: Greenwood, Laia, Kennedy
Defensive Midfield: Hasegawa, Laia
Attacking Midfield: Roord (Injured), Coombs, Blindkilde Brown, Park, Hasegawa, Fowler
Forward: Bunny (Injured), Hemp, Fowler, Kelly, Prichard, Park
Looks a bit paper thin written down 😐
Expect quite a few additions this summer, but at least the core of the team is in place.
Does the club shop at the Stadium or Arndale have WSL lettering for the current away shirt? I'd like to have one done of Houghton but wanted to make sure before I take a wasted trip to Manchester.
So since the season is coming to an end and transfer rumours are already starting, I thought I'd make a thread to cover everything transfer related. We can discuss signings, rumours, contracts and the players we would like to sign.
I added contracts that are coming to an end next season too. So we can see what players need contract extensions. Hopefully we'll see them soon and not wait until next summer!
I tried my best to research but if any information is incorrect then please let me know!

We’ve only dropped league points four times this season - but every time it’s been due to goals in the last ten minutes
Chelsea (h), drew 1-1 thanks to conceding on 90+6
Arsenal (a), lost 2-1 thanks to conceding on 87
Brighton (h), lost 1-0 thanks to conceding on 81
Arsenal (h), lost 2-1 thanks to conceding on 89 and 90+2
And we lost to Spurs on pens in the FA Cup after conceding on 90+6
We clearly have a problem with seeing games out/concentration. It’s obviously something we need to work on next season.
City can win the league today with a win and Chelsea drop points.
We all got our tickets yet?
Still available to purchase for anyone that hasn't, City are finally providing coach travel as well!
Trying not to count my chickens but I think/hope it's going to be a good day 🤞
Really want to see the game against Arsenal. It obviously sold out quickly but I know there is a ticket exchange but no idea how it works.
Are the tickets put back into where you normally buy or is there a specific ticket exchange place to buy?
Any help is appreciated
Didn’t expect Liverpool of all teams to do us a favour. If we beat Arsenal are we guaranteed the league?
Hopefully can boost the goal difference before Arsenal next week! 😎
