I tried to make an appointment but it told me to bring the two copies we signed but we don’t have them because our officiant mailed them all back to the city clerks office.

Coming from canada and my rental car cant cross border, i found a bus into detroit from windsor but i cant find any public transit way from Detroit back into Windsor to get back to my car. Can anyone give me any insight im pretty lost

Is it common at all for people to rent houses there? Or is that outside the economic feasibility of the city?

I’m extremely invested in the revitalization of the city and I would love to help in any way that I could even if it’s just low level position that doesn’t pay much. I’ve checked the listings and everything is a high paying job requiring a very specific education.

all of my previous jobs have been in food service or customer service with a few low level manager positions thrown in. historic architecture/ preservation and urban planning are my passions in life and I do plan on going to college eventually to pursue that. i’m hoping someone here could suggest something fulfilling in the meantime

When I was younger I used to go to a mall to get shoes, I was 4-5 yrs old. In this mall there was a carousel in it. I forgot which mall. Does anybody remember? This was around 92-93

I am going to graduate with my degree in civil engineering next year. Once I enter the workforce, I hope to build my own home rather than rent an apartment someplace. I understand land is affordable in Detroit, and that your city seems to welcome people who want to help Detroit build back. Do you think it’s feasible to come and buy a vacant plot and build a home? Do you know of people in your city who have done this?

Saw the Cold War Kids last night at The Majestic. The crowd talked non-stop over the opener and headliner. The amount of vape smoke was unbelievable. What happened that allowed vaping in a dense crowd of people to been seen as okay? I saw a dude take 30 rips off his vape then the plumes floated everywhere.

Hey lol this is embarrassing as shit but I am struggling with paying my DTE bill and got a shut off notice to pay $231 by November 21st. I’ve applied to SER and hopefully I’ll hear back, but are there any other options? Like if I show them I’m waiting to hear back from MDHHS, will they pause shut off? I was already on a payment plan and I missed the payment so that’s not rlly an option
