I somehow just lost my steel soul run at literally 99% completion and that got me wondering. What are your guy's worst moment and biggest mistakes you experienced while playing this game?
I just killed grimm nightmare, and then i fought the dream nightmare version. I did see that i could get a charm on youtube so i followed and talked to the npc, then i saw that if you continue that the grimn troupe will be banished so i decided to fight the dream nightmare first but when i hit her with the dream nail it says the child.. so can i still do this boss fight???
I realised the knight starts in howling cliffs, then enters hallownest in the kings pass. That means the howling cliffs isnt hallownest. and you can enter the howling cliffs via greenpath so is greenpath also not hallownest?
Fragile/Unbreakable Greed: The dropped geo is heightend by 75%. Spell Twister: The Spell cost is reduced to 18 Soul. Or both Spell and Focus cost is reduced to 24 Soul, the base of the two notch charm but with healing included.
I downloaded the game (I'm playing on Switch, with a traditional Switch controller) and was immediately immersed and obsessed. I thought to try to get through the game simply through exploration; however, I've bought pretty much everything in the two shops I have access to (maps and items), and there are parts of the first world my little guy just can't reach.
So I did look up some how-tos, because I thought I must have missed something major. And it turns out, the "something major" is pogo-jumping.
I cannot figure it out.
I've watched videos, so I know what it looks like on screen. And I've read some posts in this sub and other sites about how to do it (the Steam Community page says, "To Nail Jump off of something you simply have to strike it with a downward nail strike before you land on it"); but I still don't entirely understand what the movement is my hands should be making to achieve this skill.
Could someone either show me on the controller, or in step-by-step detail how to do this?
Also, is there any way to practice pogo- (or nail-)jumping? The one place I have is a spike field so I only get so many chances before I fully die.
I did radiant NKG but I still can't beat PV consistently. I've won attuned multiple times but never in a row, for every win I have to lose like 10 times. I have NKG down to a science, and I can't explain it but PV just feels more random? I don't get it. I know his moves and how to deal with them but I still get nailed. If I jump too much, he teleports on top of me for the sword drop + I get hit by the dagger spray. If I stay on the ground too much, he attacks faster than my shade dash cooldown and I can't jump fast enough to avoid basic nail swings.
Actually, now that I'm typing it out, I think my problem is that I don't transition well between those two strategies mid-fight.
For me it’s like more that 200 or something?
It is 22 degrees fahrenheit where I live so to paint thk I have to hear up the garage first so I started a fire in the furnace, it is warming up, update on painting soon
