Does Kudos have more to offer aside comparing cash back deals from linked credit cards?

I am exploring MTurk and Prolific for collecting data for an academic research. The survey has 180 likert type (Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree kind) statements and maybe 3-4 long form questions. What do you think would be a fair price? The research requires students (18+) or people who've recently completed their studies - I've not fixed a demographic yet but probably it will be western Europe.

If you were to participate, how much time do you think it would take, and would you be happy with €10-€15? Are MTurn and Prolific the best platforms to find you or do you have better suggestions?

I applied 9/2022. I was approved yesterday. (4/2024.) Finally. I completed all of the profile questions but I haven’t had a study show up yet. Lol. Anyway , I was just shocked to be off the waitlist. I’ve been seeing everyone’s earnings on here for so long waiting.

Edit to add: my home wifi is blocked. No studies. I finally got studies on my phone using my mobile data. I have a terrible phone signal at home and I hate doing studies on my phone... I reset my router and that did nothing. My ip address didn't change? 😭

So disappointed tonight to discover that Cashwalk raised the cashout level from 3,000 coins to 5,000 needed to cash out $5. Cashwalk was really the only decent walking app and I was able to get around $5 a month out of it. Now it's going to take me twice as long. Even worse, Tapjoy won't give me cashwalk coins for anything over 5 coins an activity. I was able to really use that to boost up my coin limit. My mini review of the other apps:

Million Steps - I've had this app for close to a year now. My total steps is 400,000. You can't cash a dime until you hit a million steps which just feels impossible at this pace.

MacAdam - Absolutely terrible. You only get 25 coins for 2500 steps. And you need 30,000 coins to cash out. Do the math and unless you walk like 20,000 steps a day, it will take years to cash out. lol

Weward - same crap as MacAdam

Eviction - I hate this app. Had it for almost a year and only get like 30 points a week.

Has anyone noticed on crowdtap that they have a lot more questions to see if you're paying attention? More than usual

I’ve been on User testing for probably about a month now. I have it open on my computer for a few hours everyday and I take plenty of screeners. I would estimate I’ve taken probably atleast 100 screeners. I haven’t received a single dime because I haven’t qualified for anything so I’m just wondering if maybe I’m doing something wrong or just getting really unlucky?

I’ve been a backup for several focus groups and have always been paid for my time even if everyone shows up and I’m not needed. I got a message on respondent asking if I could be a backup for a focus group coming up and I initially agreed. They mentioned nothing about payment so I asked if I would be getting paid for being a backup and they responded only if someone backs out and I’m needed. Should I tell them to kick rocks?

How do you all hear about research studies, especially ones that can be completed remotely?

I'm participating in one with Evidation right now and have checked the websites for local universities but I would welcome advice in this area!

I’ve been using the app for about two weeks for now with no issues but this morning I tried using the app and it keeps kicking me out as soon as I try to play a game or click to receive coins for steps is anyone else having this issue today? ###Afterthoughts

Finally finished off my big April bonus for $25. I definitely prefer the littler 1.5-2 week bonuses, but this one wasn't too bad since every redemption counted instead of just uniques.

This week's haul got split up quite a bit. I went out of town so I decided to stop by Target and Wegmans. I dropped by one of the Wal-Marts on the way, initially planning to finish my bonus that day, but I started feeling pretty bad while I was in the store so I just gave up and headed home. I knew I'd be going out near my local Wal-Mart today so I decided to just finish it up then instead. It ended up being pretty expensive, unfortunately. I've had a pretty bad headache since Monday so I just grabbed whatever to finish off the big bonus. Those bubbly were quite a bit more than I thought for some reason. Also, I messed up on the Suja. For some reason I thought Aisle was one free but it was BOGO. Also, the Fancy Feast Gems didn't scan on Shopmium. I planned to submit it there as well for an extra $1, but neither of the ones I bought scan. I could probably contact support, but I feel like I'd have to fight them since I submitted it to SB (even though I bought two...) and it's not really worth it for $1.

I'm pretty disappointed with Aisle this week. I had a bunch of offers that claimed to be near me, and they did have the products near me but the stores they required do not exist in my state. So that was pretty annoying. I was actually pretty excited to try the one dairy free chocolate peanut butter bar.

I couldn't get connected to Shopkick's server today. I'll probably get an extra 100 SK for the beneful though.

#Time Spent

This whole week was a mess between planning and shopping. I didn't really keep track but I wasted a ton of time in Target and Wegmans looking for things that were sold out. Today's Wal-Mart haul only had like 7 minutes of "planning" which half the deals I had were sold out, so I just figured out the rest in the store. I think I was at Wal-Mart for a bit over an hour, which included my regular shopping, as well as me sitting in the parking lot trying to figure out why my IB app was being fussy.

Got an email from a group that shares potential leads on work from home jobs, part time and full, and one of the suggestions was VeniceReview. I’m currently on a 3 month drive testing contract and wondering if there’s any apps to make some extra coin while I’m just driving around. I also take a couple stops at charging stations and sit for around 30min-1hr per charge so if there’s anything I can be doing on my iPhone during charges to get some extra cash too that’s appreciated. Thanks in advance as I’m pretty new to this.

Is it worth applying to missions that have an approximate start day that’s already passed? For example theirs a mission on there that has a start date of April 22nd, is it worth even applying to or will they already have the people they need?

i really enjoy writing stuff ( essays, blogposts, scripts, stories, plays, etc. ) and i would love to be able to earn money from doing it ! but i dont know if theres any websites or apps that actually pay for that stuff.

I got a few surveys without verifying my ID, I went to do the ID part yesterday but they want my full ID front and back with no numbers covered?!

I'm a little wary of this because identity theft is like my worst nightmare, is this really safe? I've never sent my ID like that to anyone ever.
