can you earn 2 dollars on ad verification on phone

I recently received an email stating that my rewards have been deposited to my account, but I don't see that the ad verification for the app(phone) is 2 dollars. Did Amazon stop giving 2 dollars for ad verification for the phone if you had the app?

Respondent AI "interview"

FYI...If you go to Respondent and do the $8 AI interview, DO NOT do the extra 3 min extra interview at the end. I think it messed up the feedback to Respondent. My interview wasn't marked as completed and I didn't get paid.

I did the interview and then saw the prompt for an extra 3 min interview - it was really "feedback" for the ai platform (no relation to the original "study"). But I didn't know that I wouldn't get credit for the original interview if I did that extra one. The second time, I skipped the 3 min interview because I had done it before and then I realized that I was automatically marked as completed. I went back and "redid" the first one and it was auto marked as completed and I'm getting paid out.

Also note - the first and second one had different questions so I assume they don't mind if you do more than one? It was super easy for $8.

Who Paid You For/In Nov 2024? Here is My List

I hope everyone has a very Happy and Healthy Holiday season

##NOV summary

My beermoney semi retirement continues as only 2 programs on the earnings report this month.Continuing to work it though. My beermoney journey may soon end. Will hang on to Swagbucks until I hit $20K lifetime earnings. And will always use them or rakuten for online shopping. Mturk I was considering trying to get to 1 million HITs completed.. but I dont see myself hanging in for another 60K. Will see
If you are reading this post and thinking beermoney isnt worth it.. please look in the comments. Im sunsetting my beermoney career, which has done great things for me, but others are still making lots of money with this. Ive just turned my attention to futures day trading, my youtube channel and the MightyOxTrading merch store.. these things are now a better source of income than beermoney

There are two general things I want to chat about though that dont have to do with earnings.

The first is Mturk. I get a lot of questions about Mturk each month. And I dont mind helping and answering questions so dont think im complaining. BUT.. I have written an Mturk 101 that might answer a lot of questions you might have. Its linked on the right hand side of this subreddit.

The second thing is people from countries other than the US contacting me. Again I certainly dont mind, but I really have no idea what works in other countries. Its just not something I have the time to keep up on. And I hate that there arent many options for people outside of the US/UK/CA. Its heartbreaking when someone says just $25 a month would make a big difference and I dont know where to refer them to. SO if you arent from the US.. I honestly dont know how to help you but wish I could

So thats my Nov. How did you do?

FOOTNOTES

  1. Does not count Ref earnings

FAQ

I live outside the USA. How can I earn?
Unfortunately most of the stuff I do is either USA only or US/UK/CA/AU. So its hard for me to advise whats available to people outside of those areas. If you live outside those 4 countries I really dont have advice for you. And I dont have much advice for even outside the USA.

How Much Time do you spend with this?
Its Hard to quantify. I am in front of a computer ALOT but its not always focused on making money. I have games I play and have scripts that watch for HITs ON Mturk so if something pops thats good I switch over. Plus Im often doing multiple things at once. That said.. there are people who make more then me with less time. Im actually very inefficient.

Why dont you get a real job?
Health issues.. and I can nap at 1PM.. and I dont have a boss looking over my shoulder... and I can work naked (I dont.. or do I....)

You must have a ton of referrals to make that much!
All the totals above represent only personal earnings. I seperate out ref earnings.

OMG! You must cheat somehow to make so much!
I do nothing outside the TOS of any of the programs. I consider this income to be a blessing and wouldnt do anything to jeopardize that. Plus cheating just kills programs and defrauds the companies that are allowing me to make this income.

Do you have to pay taxes on all of this
Yes on most of it. There are some exceptions but the majority of this income is taxable. Most of these companies dont issue 1099s but that doesnt mean you dont have to pay taxes. Please consult a tax professional if you have questions on how to handle taxes on "beermoney" income

Legit transcription service jobs?

Looking to earn some extra cash; I'm a speedy typer and passionate about accessibility so transcribing audio seems like the perfect side hustle for me. Does anyone have any legit suggestions that don't require special equipment and have a decent pay-out? (I know it wouldn't be much lol but ideally more than pennies)

Mistplay raised PayPal price

I made my mistplay account in May of this year but only actively started using it over the last few days. I haven't been super active just doing it whenever. I'm level 4 bronze and istg tye payout for $10 on PayPal was like 3000 and now it's 3700.

Stats ig played 7 games, highest check point is 6, and I've played for 5h 33m.

Just thought it was weird cause I'm in the 2000s and was hyped to be able to payout but now I need another 1000 out of nowhere. What's the deal?

Anyone else having trouble opening the Dscout app after its update?

I was using it yesterday and it updated through the App Store and now I can’t get it to fully open. It just stays on the black screen with the words dscout popping up over and over but never fully loads. Maybe it’s an update issue?

Will my account be ok if it delete the app and reinstall it?

I have $337 in Amazon.ca gift card credit but no way to use it (U.S. address)

I was gifted $337 for Amazon.ca gift card credit but can't have anything shipped to my home address in Washington. If I add a Canadian address to my Amazon.com account and shop on Amazon.ca, I can have things shipped to that address.

I tried to buy egift cards but it won't let me do it. At checkout it says "Your gift card balance can’t be applied to orders that contain Amazon.com or Visa or Mastercard gift cards, or collectible coins."

However, on the gift card page, it shows:
"Sold and delivered by Amazon.com.ca, Inc., an Amazon company."

Is there ANY way I can use this apart from buying a P.O. box in Canada and having the item shipped there?

Help using multiple small amount rebate cards

I have $28 in various beer rebate cards sitting in my MyPrepaidCenter account and I've been struggling to find ways to use them this year.

  • PayPal no longer allows the transfer of money off them. Last year I remember being able to transfer the $5 cards into my PayPal account.

  • Amazon no longer allows me to add the $2, $3, and $5 amounts to my Amazon funds.

  • I've tried attaching them to my Walmart+ account and Walmart won't take them.

  • I've tried attaching them to my Google Pay and they don't work.

  • Lastly, I've tried manually typing them in at gas stations for snacks and the registers return that manual running of the card is not allowed.

There has only been one business I've found that has accepted these rebate cards. Target. Problem however is that I don't live anywhere close to a Target and when shopping online they rarely have what I want to spend them on in stock; and I can only use one at a time with my primary bank card. Any advice on where these are usable or how I can move them into PayPal or Amazon? 6/7 of them expire at the end of December.

Babel Audio AI Training

Just wanted to shoutout Babel Audio. I been working for them for a couple months now and couldn’t find anything about them online so I wanted to post here to let yall know it’s legit and it’s easy money if you have a good setup and a room with good sound containment (no reverb/echo)

You just talk to other people for 15 min at a time and choose a topic and get $17.50/hour talked. Before them I was doing survey sites and making like absolutely no money basically to the point it’s embarrassing so if yall want some quick spending cash or something you can do consistently it’s there.

Let me know if you got any questions and I’d be happy to answer them about my experience

MindProber/mediaprobe

I haven’t done this for money in awhile but I recently emailed them to ask for a new sensor since I lost my last one, and I got it. I started getting emails again and so I did my first offer in a long time. I have a few questions and I can’t really find answers, although I’m probably just looking in the wrong places but here are my questions:

  1. What is the point conversion? I swear it used to give us dollar amounts for the invites but maybe I’m just crazy. 🤪 I can’t find out what the points mean though, what’s the conversion?

  2. How do we get paid? I forget, is it like money to PayPal or gift cards?

Is it automatic or do I need to initiate payout? HOW?

3 is there a login besides the sensor sign in, which is just for the studies. I would think there’s another login just to see our profile and points or whatever, but I can’t get a working login with my email and the “forgot password “ never sends me anything… I can only use the sensors and don’t see a point balance anywhere?

  1. Anything else I should know? It’s been so long and I feel so stupid that I can’t figure it out. I did the thanksgiving parade study yesterday no issues, just don’t know what to expect and I usually don’t have issues finding info for things like this.

Focus group platforms

I've been doing just studies/surveys sites like Prolific/Cloud. Looking to expand into longer 'projects' and don't mind being on camera. So turning to focus group stuff. Do I have it right...Usertesting, Dscout, and Intellizoom as the primaries? Any else? Or any other 'better' ones than one of those 3? I'm guessing capping myself at 3 will be more than enough work

Any thoughts on Inclusive Insight or Decision Point Research?

I recently qualified for a paid 3-day journal study through a survey and a short phone call from Inclusive Insight, but the follow-up email came from Decision Point Research. The task involves submitting info on a Word doc and uploading videos to their Dropbox.

Usually, when I complete paid studies on other companies, I would have to go through partner platforms like Recollective or Remesh, so this feels a bit off.

What’s more, the email/communication came at odd times, like 3 AM, instead of regular business hours/days.

Does this sound legit, or could it be a scam?

Anyone heard of Roadclub?

First time poster and long time lurker. So hopefully this goes well. Saw a ad that said $5 in Amazon gift card for good driving.

Seems easy enough and the usual mobile requirements like location being always allowed, while using the app, email and the like.

It’s not much but the roadclub app shows that you can win $5 Amazon gift card each week for safe driving. Just downloaded it today so I haven’t had the chance to try it out. It says get a score of 90 by the end of the week driving at least 30miles each week. Figured why not, I also didn’t see anything in the search bar for the app name. I mean it isn’t much but assuming you do it each week that’s $260 each year.

I saw it for iOS but I would assume there’s one for Android too.

Datacy and Caden Earnings Way Down!

Each of these apps are US only (I think) but yeah anyway.... they're supposedly the "passive" apps that pay you for your various data - location, browsing, etc.

Just my n=1 anecdotal reporting here but:

Earlier in the year I was getting $2 every week or 2 weeks from Datacy -- now down to 0.79 cents a week if that

Earlier in the year I was getting about 50 cents a day from Caden -- now it's dipped to about 30 cents.

Doing the quick math on that:

Datacy would only be about $41 a year (with $30 needed to cash out)

Caden would be about $110 a year ($40 needed to cash out)

Super lame!

The BYBE website now rejected every rebate I submitted HELP?

I started signed up website that give me money every beer/wine I brought. I started last year.

I been buying drink then submit to them with receipt proofs photos. Then last month it stopped when I submitted several rebates. Like about 20 differences purchased.

Next yesterday I keep checking see what happens. Now it said all 20 rejection in row base on violation their terms.

What's your suggestion? Challenge them? Or just walk away and stop using that rebate website again?

I did everything rules to following. Been doing since last year until last month then yesterday say why rejected.

Any of you had that issues?

Lessons learned making 20k this year w/ beermoney

This year has been absolutely chaotic, weathering my first stretch of unemployment since 2007, discovering this subreddit accidently, earning enough THROUGH the layoff to not end in financial ruin and then transitioning beermoney to what it should be, side income. I am back to full-time work, and it has been nice not to obsess over every single User Testing screener or Prolific study. I have learned quite a bit, so I wanted to share my perspective on how the last year has gone for me.

For perspective, I posted THIS thread earlier this year. It went into my process, backstory, etc. https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/comments/1bg894i/this_sub_saved_me_for_real/

  1. Focus on finding employment. This was obviously the end goal as I have a family and am in my 40s, but there was a part of me after being laid-off that thought MAYBE, JUST MAYBE this could be sustainable. The first month was amazing, and I made about 70% of my full time income, so it seemed like if I just pushed harder and scaled more, I would get there. It proved to be close to, if not completely impossible. The days became too long and those on this forum (and others) who said that this type of work should really just be side-income are correct.
  2. Relying on this kind of work for a full-time income is possible short term, but not sustainable. This is probably not shocking to most of you, but the frustration that comes with this kind of work, inspite of being 'your own boss' is maddening. The main things you have to watch out for, aside from ambigious thottling on various sites, is the ebb and flow makes it hard to count on. Which brings be to my next point.
  3. Optimize your workspace. I went a bit crazy, to be honest, but I had multiple monitors, tons of bookmarks and tab setup, lots of browser extensions, and a tablet to do simple surveys on Qmee and similar while I was trying to earn on the computer.
  4. Have primary and secondary earners. Time is literal money in this space, so having primary and secondary earners is a must. If the primary earner is not hitting that day, move to something like Swagbucks, Qmee, even mTurk to grind some income while you wait for a Prolific study or a User Testing session. This secondary earner is really a dark horse in this method.
  5. Even then, have a backup. My backup turned out to be super important. It was Clickworker and Field Agent doing in store audits. Yes, I had to spend gas money to get there, but I would often route a list of 4-7 store audits in my 100 mile radius and would do THOSE on the weekends when UT, CCR and Prolific are generally slow. This allowed me to bank some weekend dollars going into the week, keeping my numbers more attainable.
  6. Set a earnings goal number and quota. I had a initial goal and a stretch goal daily. My initialy goal was $120 and my stretch goal was $200. I had to do WHATEVER I could to get to my initial goal, as that was the number I needed on a weekday to be able to pay basic bills without having to completely destroy my savings. I had only a 3 month expenses worth of savings in my account before I would have had to tap into my retirement (which as someone who has a family and is only 20ish years from retirement, was a hard pill to swallow)
  7. Don't forget taxes. Even with my overall desperation, I kept about 35% of everything I earned out for taxes. It may not be enough, or maybe I'll have something I can dump into savings once I get all my 1099s. We will see!
  8. Create custom feeds on reddit to keep tabs on the landscape. I have two, one called The Gigs which are all the subreddits for places like Prolific, User Testing, Connect Cloud Research, Swagbucks etc. I would monitor this throughout the day to see if there was anything hot or worth attention. The other was called The Hustle, which included subs like r/signupsforpay, r/passive_income, r/remotework, r/TELUSinternational etc. I would go to these to check on other potential revenue streams and see if there were remote jobs I could potentially work.
  9. Focus on the money on the table, not chasing affiliates. If you have things that are working for you (for me that was User Testing) make sure you hit that hard instead of signing up for 100 sites and trying to spam people and reddit with your affiliate codes and links. This takes way more time than you have if you have bills.
  10. Cash out the moment you can. Don't keep money sitting in Prolific or CCR. Cash out when you hit any minimum and have that money in your own account. Goes without saying.

I have made a bit over 20k this year, mainly between February and July. User Testing was my primary earner, with Clickworker, Prolific, Cloud Connect doing heavy lifting. dScout, mTurk, Qmee, Swagbucks, Serpclix, Yougov, Intellizoom, Ivueit, Field Agent, UHRS and a few others also chipped in.

Anyway, I felt an obligation to share some of my journey because so many of you helped ME when I was in my worst spot. I am now gainfully employed, things are settled down, and I hop on to beermoney sites every so often to earn a little extra, like it's intended to be!

Sites like Wordsrated

I saw a 2y old post about Wordsrated, where a reader is paid for taking notes about details like (from the website itself):

Number of characters by gender Number of sentences given to male vs. female characters Locations where the story takes place Which books are characters reading or being referenced Number of certain words or phrases How many questions were asked in the book What animals are appearing in the book

Do you know of/can you recommend other sites/jobs like this?

Charge Surge… too good to be true?

So I was messing around on my phone the other day, & an ad for this app called “Charge Surge” comes up. They supposedly pay you for charging your smartphone. Minimum amount to cash out is $600, & the max is $1200. Testing it now to see if it’s legit, it seems too good to be true to me.

Has anyone come across this app yet? If so, what do you think?

Update: tested the app, & yes, it’s total bullshit. Upon trying to cash out, the app asks for your PayPal account number. Complete scam, from an app that’s looking to profit off of ad revenue (there were a SHIT TON of ads throughout the whole app to wade through). Buyer beware.

Also, it doesn’t ask you to set up an account w/ them after you download the app. Just launches right into ad after ad.

Again, major scam.

Thanks everyone for answering.
