Is it possible to be hired for 2 or more projects simultaneously?
For example, a translation project and a data collection project at the same time
Heyloooooo!!!I'm a 3rd-year Computer Engineering student, and I've been dealing with some tough financial challenges over the past 2-3 months. To help make ends meet, I’m offering to take on full coding projects for anyone who needs them done.

i want to start out by saying ive never worked remotely before and i dont have what i consider a lot of job experience. ive only worked with three different companies, and one of them is a job i currently have for a couple weeks.
my "main" job has been as a personal care assistant/home health aid (ten years). most of the healthcare related jobs ive applied/interviewed for are ones that i think my skills will translate to which have to be done in person since it involves interacting directly with patients. ive recently had to decline an offer that would've paid well because i simply don't have the transportation for it. this really hurt me and got me thinking about remote work.
so, are there any remote positions that relate to being a PCA? is something like customer service for a healthcare company considered close enough? i assume that id have to do entry level work, which is fine with me, but id like my experience as a PCA to be relevant when i apply. i also have minimal customer service skills from previous/current work in retail.
Hello, i'm currently looking for a job related to these. Feel free to message me
Hi guys. Today I was working on a task when several errors started appearing on the website as I tried to submit the task I was working on. After refreshing the page, I suddenly saw the following message:
After careful review of your account activity, we have detected multiple attempts to defraud our payment system. This is a violation of our Code of Conduct and Terms of Use, and your account has been permanently suspended.
Our policy for violations of the Code of Conduct exists because unethical behavior undermines our platform's integrity.
Sincerely,
The DataAnnotation Team
I have never attempted to defraud the payment system as stated in the message. I always reported my working time correctly and have always worked correctly for 7 months. I have also funds available for withdrawal in my account.
I don’t know what could have happened; the only idea that comes to mind is that someone may have accessed my account. Has anyone had the same experience?
Thank you.
Hi all.
I signed up for Appen forever ago and forgot about it. Today they sent me an email with an exciting project opportunity. I then noticed multiple interesting projects and applied.
I had three project applications pending where I got through every stage and was just waiting on them to verify my ID, and I submitted everything relating to that correctly because I've done it a thousand times with other websites recently before anybody asks when I state my issue.
I also had several available projects and two instant tasks available. I didn't claim any of those or apply to any of those, though.
It said it would take about 15 minutes to verify my ID. I found this strange, given that using the exact same process, other websites did so instantly. I checked back several hours later and I still had three applications pending all because my ID was not yet verified, but it wouldn't let me resubmit the verification or anything, so I assumed a real person had to look at it to verify it or something like that?
A few more hours passed and I checked back again. Suddenly, I have no projects available to apply to, the pending ones have vanished, and all I have are two tasks that I can apply to that are, you know, the instant kind.
Does anyone know what may have happened? Is this normal and I've just been rejected from the pending ones without them telling me, or is something weird happening?
hi! I got an interview offer with carenet health for a medical receptionist position. has anyone had experience in this position before? I have an almost 3 month old, so I wasn’t sure if this would be a good fit. thanks for any insight <3
Does anyone know the company “GTK Timek Group SA”? The weird interview was over teams as a series of questions ending and after saying I have the position they asked with what bank I use and how long I’ve used them for.
Hi there. A doctor, tho i’m still training. I would like to know what options should i research for an alternative career in IT that would have a remote job? I’m very keen to have a way out. Thanks ☺️
I tried to register with Appen a few days ago. They sent me a link to confirm the registration, and I entered my username and password as instructed. The site said my username and password were incorrect, but both were correct. I tried to reset my password, but Appen never sent me the link to do that. Anybody else having this issue?
this company is a scam that offers to hire anyone with a health license provided by the company. it is a $199 fee that covers 20 weeks of classes, agent code, a background check, and the health license.
Hi,
So I've been working for Crisp thinking for past few years doing content moderation. In past year the company moderation seems to have been taken over by ai services which results in much less content for the human moderators. I get it, times are such as they are, there is a lot of content happening so automatization is expected.
I have been researching companies that hire moderators because, ya know, i kinda need to eat and pay rent but from what I see hardly anyone seems to hire human remote moderators anymore? It's either on site (and usually in countries outside of EU where I am based) or it's all Ai.
Due to health reasons i am mostly looking for remote options. Is this becoming a dead job? Or are there still any companies that hire people remotely that I simply somehow haven't found yet?
Hi ,
I was working on e-moderators or operatorpanelau.com and it's just thrown me out with no explanation. I haven't even gotten an email saying I've done something wrong.
Is anyone else have this problem?
My 26 year old daughter just came to me asking about a job she was applying for that seems pretty scammy.
My wife found a post in a local buy and sell group on Facebook for ResultsCK looking for customer service reps.
My daughter went through an extensive text interview which I was very involved with. They eventually offered her a job at $30 per hour and are going to provide her with a home office setup.
It seemed a lot to good to be true that they hired a 26 year old stay at home mom (5.5 years) who's only job experience is McDonald's as a teen.
They told her that they would make a deposit into her bank for her to order the equipment from their approved vendor.
Is this a scam? What should I watch for to keep her safe?
Is there anyone who has issues with tryrating platform for the above mentioned projects?
I just finished my degree in mechatronics engineering and i am looking for a place where i can do an online internship, i have thought of companies like Flextronics, Sanmina, Jabil, has anyone done something similar or have any advice to give me?
so I had scheduled a zoom interview with Carenet Health at 5:30 and it's almost 6pm and the recuriter has yet to join the call for the interview. Are they coming or should I reach out and reschedule?
Has anyone heard of this place or worked for them?? I’m like tipping the border on if it’s a scam or not bc if it is it’s a good one LOL please help 🙏
CrowdGen profiles have a Demographics & Inclusivity section that asks info such as genre, race and age.
They state that this information is not required but it helps them present workers with more opportunity.
I noticed that, if you don't fill in this info, many applications will actually be instantly declined due to a “profile not fitting their needs”. Then, they will send you an email telling you that you should provide this info to get better matches...
I'm not an expert in law, but isn't this discrimination? Let me know what you think.
So I started my new job and I'm now 1 of 2 people in my discipline at this company. So my "buddy" as it's called here or partner I'll be working with is the other guy who has my expertise. Before I joined he was the only one.
Anyway, so in the interview he seemed really cool and I was super excited to work with him but when I joined (working remotely), I noticed he seemed just nda cold in his messages and would often ignore my messages out to him. I just shrugged it off as it's just the way he is. But when I flew into the office for my second week to meet the team, I got to meet him in person and he literally won't answer most of my messages to him in slack. He is supposed to be training me on the tools we use in-house but I am having issues even getting him to come over to help me when I have a question.
Since he is the only other on the team who works in the same space as me, I don't really have any other options for questions that are specific to the new tools.
My boss on the other hand is great and everyone else on the team are super nice and welcoming. The issue is my boss will have to be very hands off as he is in a different department than me and doesn't understand alot of the ins and outs of my discipline. So I kinda have to get my buddy to like me because he will be the direct report to my boss about my performance. If my buddy doesn't like me, I fear he could just easily make up a bad review of me and have me replaced.
Today at lunch I went to sit with him and he just ignored me the whole lunch only answering one question I had about work related things then after answering it shortly he quickly turned to continue talking about random off-work stuff with my other coworkers without inviting me into the discussion.
What should I do? I love everything else about the team and I love the work I'm doing here but I feel due to my buddy, I'm sort of set up to fail here less than 2 weeks in..
I joined and haven't heard anything for weeks, and out of the blue today I received an email with all the info but it says I have 5 days to complete the training modules [which take 10-15 hours] and quizzes, but Im away until Monday working. I'm a little confused - just getting all the stuff and saying I have 5 days when I'm away working what I should do. If I don't get it done in 5 days from today will I get axed? It's Project Calipso. Thanks for any help.
I received this text today. I have received texts before for actual interviews, but I wanted to know if anyone else has received this.
“I'm Emily Foster, We reviewed your Linkedin job resume, Our company TTEC DIGITAL is delighted to offer you the position of an Administrative Assistant. The position is remote and No prior experience is needed as you will undergo a job training program, The pay is $45/Hr. If interested, Please text Head HR Daniel Davis at ——— with interview code ——- for more info.”
Im looking for german transcription jobs. Any idea? It seems the market for this kind of work is finished?
I recently applied for an image annotation job. I passed the assessment and I have an interview scheduled next week. I work 4 hours a day now, and I feel empty and bored when I get back home. I will also start my masters soon and I will be doing an AI research in healthcare. This is why I applied for the job. However, after reading a few reddit posts, I am hesitatant. The minimum working hours is 30 a week, meaning I have to work around 6 hours a day. The rate is 2 euros per hour. I am very hesitant is it worth it? Mind you my current job pay is so low.
Trying to log into my account and it says email or password incorrect. Tried to reset and it says email not found.
It was working fine this morning.
I've two questions, first one I can't get the OneForma UHRS working, not sure why although I have both Payoneer and Paypal linked to my account.
Second question is: I can't find the links for the following certifications, can you help me find them?:

2- Helios Certification
3- Ares Certification
4- LLM Readiness_Safety
5- UHRS_Test_New_Grammar_EN-US
6- UHRS_Test_New_Reading_EN-US
7- UHRS_Test_New_Listening_EN-US
8- LLM Domain Certification Level 1 - Health/Medical
9- UHRS_Test_New_Reading_EN-US
10- UHRS_Test_New_Listening_EN-US
11- LLM Domain Certification Level 1 - General
I just have a question which seems dumb but on SRT what is the project called, because when I check my queues for the different projects none of them actually have the title “Vuoksi” in it. There’s one called “e2e and llm grading”, I want to know if that’s the project under Vuoksi and whether it’s paid work or unpaid training. Crowdgen is a shitshow atm anyway but in case things get sorted I want to know exactly what are the names of the paid work available through SRT.
I’ve had enough. How can a company that just raised 50 million AUD still be unable to pay its contributors properly? Appen’s leadership has completely lost the plot, and we’re the ones paying the price literally.
I don't understand why did they switch to Crowdgen from Appen Connect, and why was it done in such a hasty way? Projects are disappearing, dashboards show zero work hours or payments, payments are delayed for a month, and there’s zero transparency on when these issues will be fixed. How do you launch a platform that clearly wasn’t ready?
If you look into Appen’s recent activities, you’ll see that executives have been jumping ship left and right. The company’s direction is a mess. The Chief Revenue Officer left 4 months ago, and since then, there’s been no CRO. Means no direction for revenue. If the top leadership can’t stay in their seats for more than a few months, how are we supposed to trust them with our livelihoods? How are they still getting away with this?
Contributors are being exploited. We are told to keep working, keep delivering, with no concrete answers on when we’ll get paid in full. The project rates are way lower than they used to be, and payments are being delayed longer than ever. Meanwhile, we’re expected to wait in the dark while the company sits on millions in funding?
It’s time to hold Appen accountable. How much longer are we supposed to put up with broken promises, botched platforms, and unstable leadership? We need answers NOW, not more empty promises, mental health newsletters, and a broken product.
With the mess that Crowdgen has become, it’s becoming harder to trust Appen as a reliable platform for contributors. I know many of us rely on this work, but there are other platforms out there that have a better track record of paying contributors on time and offering stable work.
If you’re as frustrated as I am using Crowdgen, make your voice heard. This is NOT the Appen we signed up for.
