Did not receive gift card, just an Ibotta response email.

Email is a continued loop of when you bought gift card it showed you a something went wrong message therefore it’s your banks fault for paying us.

No other response other than what appears to be tough shit, we’re keeping your $.

Apple Pay insists they were paid and the money cleared.

Any suggestions to get the funds returned to Apple Pay ? (the $5.50 ibotta balance stands as it was)

Is anyone else having an awful time getting correct cash back from Ibotta with dollar general? Seems like Ibotta is not understanding the way DG does their store sales (shows up as a deal on the receipt) or how the STORE coupons work, or with buying multiple items and using a manufacturer coupon in store with one product and not the others.

Target Circle week has the spend $50 get $15 on household items and I of course picked some ibotta items as part of my $50 spend. I messed up and used one of my previous Target promo cards to pay $10 of the total so I didn’t get the $15 promotion for household goods. I didn’t realize this cancels out the reward promo from Target.

Customer service at Target said I would have to return the items and repurchase them to get the Circle offer to work. Does anyone know if this will mess up the fact that I already redeemed that receipt on ibotta? Is the app smart enough to know the items were returned like it knows at Walmart?

I wouldn’t resubmit the new receipt to redeem offers again if I returned/rebought them. Just trying to get that $15 back from Target that I planned for. Thanks!

I bought The Perfect Bar for $1.25 cash back. I had to scan it since it didn't get picked up on the receipt. Okay, no biggie. I scan it and it says collect $0.00. What in the world? Is it because I've already used up all the redemptions for it? Why wouldn't they take it off as an option for me to buy? Ugh, bummed out.

So yesterday I went to Walmart hit a bonus and after the cash back showed up in my Ibotta account I initiated a transfer for all of my earnings to my BoA account. I know it says it can take 3 days I’m just noticing the transfer isn’t showing in my Ibotta transactions but it is showing a $0 balance now. Will it show up in a couple days? Do I just wait and see?

Anyone else noticing they got rid of the online % back for shopping? I’m only seeing money back for memberships and not on in store or online shopping

Husband has account but he is not always around to use his phone to redeem….is there any way to put his account on a tablet or other device without paying for another phone every month?

I feel like Ibotta has gone significantly downhill in recent months, so I've started using Rakuten instead. Anyone else in the same boat? What are your thoughts on how Rakuten stacks up vs. Ibotta?

It’s the 8th of April and I’m 40% done with this bonus! I think it’s absolutely doable and a fun challenge.

The one I picked is 90-some redeemed offers for $25. I have a month to do it. The thing is, whether or not I can find 90 offers to even do, depends on how good the deals even are. Some weeks are just dry, like the current one-- there isn't much for grocery. CVS is pretty good, walgreens somewhat too.

But I'd hate to like get 70 offers done and then that last week before the expiration, it's a dead week. so I'm thinking I shouldn't really bother with intentionally trying to reach it unless I organically have 90 offers I actually want to do -- if it happens, great! If not, no biggie either.

What are your thoughts?

Is this just a canned response? It's a little confusing to me.

I realized recently that my Ibotta account must have my old phone number cause I haven't cashed out since before I changed numbers. I had the app on an old device, it broke. I got a new one but for some reason the app wasn't compatible with the new device, and then I finally got another new one that the app is compatible with, which is why I'm just starting to use the app again.

So I sent cs a message, including my old number and the new one and this is what they responded with.

"Hello,

Thank you for writing in. If you are receiving this error message then this number is already being used on an Ibotta account or your account is registered to a different phone number. For this reason, you will be unable to verify this number to your account, since each phone number may be associated with only one account at a time.

Is it possible you may have accidentally created another Ibotta account? If so, please provide us with the following information so we can look into this further:

First name Date of Birth Last 10-digit phone number used to successfully verify your account Any email addresses associated with Ibotta accounts Email address you wish to use going forward

Please note, if the phone number is linked to another Saver’s Ibotta account, the only way to have this number verified to your account is if the current Saver requests the number be removed from their account. Otherwise, you will need to use a completely different phone number.

Yeah, I already know my account has a different phone number, and I already supplied that number to them... guess this means they just want more of my info before they change it?! Seems silly to me.

The Gatorade protein bars are on sale $1.25 (with your S&S card) this week! I have 1200 points back on Fetch, limit 3, so 3 protein bars for 15 cents!!

Doublecheck your Fetch, since offers can vary per account.

Not as good a deal as the bars, but the peanut butter mini m&m tubes are $2 each, with 1500 points back on Fetch, limit 5. $0.50 isn’t the worst price for candy 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also, NatureSweet cherub tomatoes (10oz containers) are on sale for $2.50 with 700 points on Fetch, limit 2. $1.80 is a decent price for a package of tomatoes.

Long paragraph because I’m on mobile at 3AM. I’m no extreme couponer, nor do I have the time to shop in-store. I’m a staunch make-it-from-scratch, bulk-pack, store-brand type shopper and typically use Ibotta for occasional treats or trying new products (“free after offer” items), or for stocking up on household items when they offer rebates on the name brands I do use. However. I got the worst stomach virus this month, and it hit me how I have next to NOTHING in the house that doesn’t require cooking from scratch. Also, trips to the zoo/lake/etc with my kids and their cousins are coming up, so spring and summer are big snack buying season for us. All to say, this will be a pricey trip of mostly convenience, but preparedness. Freezable lasagnas, shelf stable kids snacks, baby foods, long-term stock-ups of household items I know we’ll need in the next 6 months, and diapers/wipes for 2 upcoming baby showers I’ll be attending are my main items. I have a $5 weekend warrior bonus too, and altogether I calculate I should get about $150 back on $600. I made a whole word document comparing price per item/oz of discounted items vs what I would buy without a rebate. I will update in 5 hours or so once my grocery pickup is finalized. 🥴

Just checking to see what everyone’s Make it rain bonus is, mine is $35 for 92 offers. I’m excited for the high dollar amount but not sure if I can do 92 offers in a single month. 😃

I'm trying to make an account buy I keep getting the same message when I sign up with an email. "Sorry, there was a problem"

I bought tide pods and the product barcode matched an offer for $4 cash back. Submitted receipt and assumed that's what I was going to get. To my surprise I was only given $.05, for any brand of milk. I didn't even see that as an offer currently available. Although I did select it before when it was available. Very strange if you ask me. Through the app I did try figuring out how to claim missing cash back but selecting the transaction wasn't very helpful. I guess I'll just submit a message to cs to see what happens?

BTW I think I had this sort of thing happen before. It's like those any brand offers get in the way of the offers that are worth a lot more. Or you can't claim both that and other offers for some reason on the same receipt. I didn't bother doing anything about it the last time it happened, but that shouldn't be happening.

Normally i have no problems with ibotta ever. So nice compared to Fetch.

However the last two days if i scan a receipt with products yhat the varcode matched and i submit, they tell me ineligible

So far ine they did manually give me. But this is unusual for them. Anyone else having this problem?

Has anybody had issues with getting a message the offer is ineligible despite it being the correct product?

I submitted it twice for review and got this message twice. I contacted Ibotta care but this is the first time this has happened since I started using Ibotta six years ago.

I always scan products’ barcode at the store to verify it is eligible for the offer. It said the three bottles I bought matched to the offer. It also said it matched when I scanned it at home after submitting the receipt and it didn’t pick up the offer.
