Rules

  1. Be respectful.

  2. All posts must be Back to the Future related.

  3. Absolutely no t-shirt/clothing/mug/poster posts or comments. They either attract spammers, or they are from spammers.

  4. No spam, no excessive self-promotion, no Discord server ads.

  5. No AI-generated art. While human-made art is both welcomed and encouraged, AI art requires little to no effort to create and can easily overrun a subreddit.

  6. Posts from accounts with 0 comment karma will be automatically removed without warning. This measure is in place to combat repost bots.

  7. No interfering with the spacetime continuum. I figured, what the hell.

If Crispin Glover was still in the sequels, how different the 3rd movie could have been?

There was a script about the 2nd, but no one talks about how the 3rd could have been, if he was still around.

P.S. actually, I was wrong, I think they were writing the 2 movies into a single script:

https://backtothefuture.fandom.com/wiki/Paradox_script

Seamus was meant to be played by George. This is the PDF link for Paradox:

https://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/bttf2_3.pdf

P.P.S. has anyone actually tried to create this as a story? If I am not mistaken, Resident Evil had a similar fate:

A documentary is also set to be released: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GzzRrFfOFk

Just saw BTTF The Musical last night...

I was kinda disappointed. It just seemed amateurish, didn't develop characters, and was over the top in places it didn't need to be.

The video and DeLorean effects were cool, but, baring that, it was a major let down.

I'm curious about what other people thought.

It would be funny if the townsfolk all chanted "Mad Dog" during Buford Tannen's hanging

Imagine if there was a scene of Buford Tannen's execution for all his crimes. Since he's detained and ready to be hanged, it would finally be time for the town to get their revenge on him. As he is about to be hanged, everyone in town would call him "Mad Dog" and make barking noises. "Mad Dog! Mad Dog! Mad Dog's on the leash!" Buford would freak out, but there's nothing he could do about it. He would even start drooling as he's flaring up. Even his gang would be laughing at him while being hanged next to him. Imagine the hilarious torture of hearing everyone call him Mad Dog before his death. And that's also how it remained in the history books, even going so far as to his own great grandson remembering him as Mad Dog. This sounds so cruel, but I would love a scene of that.

Ready player one just one of a few movies cars and real life cars. Anything with bttf in it make it good.

I know the rules about no Ai but I don't know how they made the movie. But from a hotwheel car to one race in was good. And of course it will win the race?

Docs letter to Marty in 1955

How did Doc know where to address the letter to Marty after the Delorean was struck by lightning? He couldn't have used the Lyon Estates entrance as a reference point as he wouldn't have been able to acknowledge its existence in a letter from 1885. And he likely couldn't use the road as a reference as it likely wouldn't have existed in 1885 either. How would he have known where to instruct the mailman to find Marty?

Best unused poster for BTTF3 by Drew Struzan

I honestly am trying to get this poster to get it signed. Part 3 is my favorite in the trilogy.

Let's say, hypothetically, Doc wanted to paint the Time Machine (like how people painted DeLoreans when they didn't like the unpainted Stainless Steel look). Would it be a great idea? Would it interfere with the flux dispersal?

A list of every time travel show and movie since 1896

Over the past several months I have been compiling the ultimate list of everything time travel since the year 1896. I have scoured every list and keyword I could think of to bring together a total of 6,000 entries involving temporal manipulation in some way, shape, or form. There are entries hidden in the strangest places.

Back to the Future is of course a personal favourite of mine, so you can guarantee it is fully accounted for. The movies, the cartoon, the side projects, the musicals, the music videos, the knockoffs, and the frighteningly large amount of porn parodies. There are multiple movies titles with Back to the #### no matter how little it connects to the premise. At the very least, it should give you some ideas of new movies to seek out.

Now I'm not claiming this to be the completed list, but at 6,000 entries I'd like to think I got the most of them. Whether all of them are still existant or 100% accurate is another problem entirely. I've worked off a very broad definition of what qualifies as time travel, so no doubt there will be a few that people will disagree with. If anyone knows of any that aren't here, I will start up a secondary list to be released once it has a significant number of entries to stand in its own right.

A word of warning though, this is a list of everything therefore: Spoilers and NSFW content included

The full list can be found here: www.listchallenges.com/everything-time-travel-since-1896

How many of them have you seen? Which is your favourite? Which is the most surprising?

Who else caught this?

First time you see the clock in 1885 for that split second it reads 10:04. Cool nod to the first movie
