All things Indiana Jones.

To be more specific, The Raiders March (epic stunt spectacular). In the soundtrack found on YouTube, it contains all the classic Indy themes all mashed together and contains a shortened march. I came to realize that the raiders march plays fully when you're at the attraction itself in Orlando, I've been looking all over the internet for this version that plays on the speakers at MGM (H. S.) and have found no luck. I provided a link below to a recording of the show where the raiders march plays fully (until the video cuts out) Skip to 26:55 clip of full theme at the attraction-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VWM-8lGZJk&list=LL&index=1
Was we all know, our favorite fictional archeologist isn't just Indiana Jones - he's Dr. Indiana Jones. (Or Dr. Henry Jones, Jr., officially). I just re-watched "The Last Crusade" last night and I wondered where Indy got his doctorate. According to "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" Indy attended college at the University of Chicago (ironically Chicago is Harrison Ford's hometown) but I could not find information about where Indy received his doctorate. Did he complete his graduate studies at UChicago too?
In the scene with the two government officials in the big empty hall about 15 minutes into Raiders of the Lost Ark, Brody mouths something silently to Indy. It’s when the one official reads aloud the intercepted German telegram and says “Tanis development processing.” I’ve watched it over and over but I can’t read Brody’s lips. Does anyone know?
It is one of the few movies in my life that I am able to remember all the details about the first time I saw it.
My son has Down syndrome and autism. He enjoys going to our local Comicon, but it can be a lot for him. John Rhys-Davies was so kind and patient with him. It was a wonderful experience meeting him.
What is the folk song played when Indy, Willie, and Shorty arrive at the palace? It is an absolutely gorgeous piece of music.
Starts at the 1:00 mark:
I think this question has been posted a few times before, but it's a pretty big open question: is Indy immortal?
The Grail can't be moved from its place in not-Petra. Gotcha: move it, you trigger an earthquake. The knight is immortal because he drank from the cup and stayed to guard it. Presumably, he's spent the last hundred years getting the Grail from the crack and repairing earthquake damage.
Indy drank from the cup, too, and then left. So did Henry Sr. Are they both immortal now? Or is it only if they chose to live in that little chamber with the knight forever?
What sort of immortality are we talking? Just getting to live hundreds of years? If you shoot Indy, would the bullet bounce off? Henry Sr. healed from a bullet wound in ten seconds. Are they both Wolverine now? Or would they be Wolverine only if they stayed in not-Petra?
Could you set up a hospital right outside for sick people to take sip after sip?
I was rewatching DoD yesterday (not for the first time) and I never noticed before, that when Marion walks in with groceries, Indy quickly (you can miss it if you blink) removes the magnet that he put on her photo at the beginning of the movie.
I don’t know why, but I found funny and cute in some way.
For those of us who grew up with the "Young Indiana Jones Chronicles," we assumed that at the age of 93 Indy was alive and well spending his days as a curmudgeon in New York City. However, the "Old Indy" segments are no longer canon so it seems like it is up and the air as to how Indy spends his final days.
At the end of "Dial of Destiny," Indy gets back together with Marion but otherwise his future is ambiguous. I assume that he keeps his position at Hunter College and continues to live in New York. I am not sure of what the most likely continuation of Indy's story would be, but here is what I hope would happen after the events of the film:
Otherwise, I am not sure what else could or should happen with Indy's story since he is 70 in Dial of Destiny and he is probably done with his adventures. What do you think happens to Indy after Dial of Destiny?
I guess that’s why he waves to Indy and his dad, he knows the reason that they came for the grail is a noble one, having seen Indy give his dad the grail.
Thank you!
Wanted to get a Wested Legacy Hero (Raiders) and was wondering about how the back length will affect the overall cut: if I get a couple of extra inches (I'm tall), will the rest of the jacket be made to fit the length of the back or will the back just be extra long? Thanks for your help, fam!
edit: sorry for polluting the front page of the sub for those of you who don't cosplay, etc., that's a B on Me. also, thanks again for those with answers, i've done some research and turned up with nothing
