Ever since the ride came out people have said you can see a caveman in the dinosaur portion of the ride video (after the T-Rex part) but after having been on the ride and watching the ride video millions of times I have yet to be able to find said caveman.
Anyone know where it is?
After seeing his target shooting skills does anyone think he could have beaten Buford in a duel?
Panning shot in the gym shows bands lined up to audition with all their equipment, even drum kits. Is that normal (then or now), to do all that setup/takedown between bands for tryouts? How long does that take including moving equipment, plugging/unplugging, sound checks for levels, etc.?
In BTTF, Doc presumably drives the silver truck containing the Delorean to the parking lot some time before Marty arrives.
However, near to the end of the film, just after Doc wakes up, Marty and Doc drive back to Marty's house in just the Delorean.
What happened to the silver truck? Did Doc just leave it at the parking lot?
Doc says something like:-
"If you want me I'll be back at my lab dismantling this thing."
...which would imply that he's not returning to the parking lot.
Wouldn't it have been better to reload the Delorean back into the truck while Marty was there, and then the two of them drive back to Marty's house in the truck?
Hey everyone! I started the BTTF fanfic directory in 2007 to archive all the fanfic that was then available online - just over a thousand then. I closed it in 2010 when it got to be too much, and then the site broke due to deprecated code, but I updated the code and it's working again under an archive link:
http://www.whoaisnotme.net/futurefix/
It's still stuck back in time in November 2010 and there won't be further updates, but it's still a nostalgic snapshot of fandom then. (Do note there's a huge variation in fic quality.)
I very highly recommend the fics by Kristen Sheley and Mary Jean Holmes - they're the BTTF version of the Star Wars Extended Universe and gave me many sublime years of happiness back in the early 2000s.
Kristen's stuff is still available on her website. MJ Holmes' site went down years ago, but some of her fics can be accessed via the Wayback Machine with some digging. The URL was http://www.mj-holmes.com
So BTTF trilogy has endless cool repeats of things like Statler family selling cars/horses and Goldie Wilson and his kid etc. But I recently saw a new one, in part 1 Biff comments how he wrecked Georges car and he splilt beer in the process and blames George for the blind spot causing it. In part 3 Mad Dog mentions he lost a bottle of bourbon when his horse three a shoe. So the Tannen famly has a history of consuming alcohol while traveling in cars/on horseback.
I was browsing my local library and came across Omni Music's publication of the BTTF score. It's incredibly fascinating! Does anyone own this or even know about it?
We are visiting Universal for the first time for my sons 10th birthday. He is crazy for Back to the Future. I know you can see the sets on the Tram tour, I watched it on YouTube but my son is autistic and won’t cope with the King Kong section, too scary for him. Is there any other way to see bttf stuff at universal? Is the Delorean there? Thanks in advance
I always thought Charlie Sheen played Marty Jr. It to me it looks just like him. IMDB says the role was played by Fox. Anyone else ever think this?
After watching a video on the miniature models used for Knight Rider,I was beginning to wonder what happened to the miniature models from Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III
All of the flying cars, including the Delorean, the Railroad Delorean, and the Time Train.
Does anyone know what happened to them?
How DID doc met marty?
If you get the opportunity to see it and love BTTF then I recommend it.
I’m not going into plot detail. There’s plenty of posts on it already (i mean it’s been out 4 years)
I just wanted to say that the car steals the show. It’s entrance is awesome and how they rotate each scene is fantastically done.
Anyone else love this scene growing up? I love Marty’s interaction with his boss lol
I Was watching three this morning and for the first time it occurred to me that if 55 Doc fixes the time machine and sends Marty back to 1985 and then from that point just decides to never invent the machine to begin with, he doesn’t have to worry about ending up shot in the old West. Pushing aside that would mean there is no plot for a third film but wouldn’t Doc think that’s the better alternative than sending Marty back to 1885 and risking him as well?
Even time travelled to the 1950s just for this photo.. hehe..
“…..at shoeing horses, and fixing wagons.”
Took a while to source parts, solder and wire the boards, and write the code to get it working but finally got this baby up and running! Next on my list is the Flux Capacitor.
