Best unused poster for BTTF3 by Drew Struzan

I honestly am trying to get this poster to get it signed. Part 3 is my favorite in the trilogy.

Let's say, hypothetically, Doc wanted to paint the Time Machine (like how people painted DeLoreans when they didn't like the unpainted Stainless Steel look). Would it be a great idea? Would it interfere with the flux dispersal?

A list of every time travel show and movie since 1896

Over the past several months I have been compiling the ultimate list of everything time travel since the year 1896. I have scoured every list and keyword I could think of to bring together a total of 6,000 entries involving temporal manipulation in some way, shape, or form. There are entries hidden in the strangest places.

Back to the Future is of course a personal favourite of mine, so you can guarantee it is fully accounted for. The movies, the cartoon, the side projects, the musicals, the music videos, the knockoffs, and the frighteningly large amount of porn parodies. There are multiple movies titles with Back to the #### no matter how little it connects to the premise. At the very least, it should give you some ideas of new movies to seek out.

Now I'm not claiming this to be the completed list, but at 6,000 entries I'd like to think I got the most of them. Whether all of them are still existant or 100% accurate is another problem entirely. I've worked off a very broad definition of what qualifies as time travel, so no doubt there will be a few that people will disagree with. If anyone knows of any that aren't here, I will start up a secondary list to be released once it has a significant number of entries to stand in its own right.

A word of warning though, this is a list of everything therefore: Spoilers and NSFW content included

The full list can be found here: www.listchallenges.com/everything-time-travel-since-1896

How many of them have you seen? Which is your favourite? Which is the most surprising?

Who else caught this?

First time you see the clock in 1885 for that split second it reads 10:04. Cool nod to the first movie

Behind the scenes - train scene

I remember watching the trilogy when I was still young and still find it amusing whenever I watch some behind the scenes.

The year is 1991/1992. You are tasked with the production of another BTTF live-action. What would you do?

Before answering this question, we need to answer first what would we do, if we went back to this period, when the ANIMATED SERIES was scheduled to start on CBS from Sep 14, 1991 to Dec 26, 1992. Should it remain the same, untouched, or we end up telling them to scrap it, completely?

If we had the same writers/direction/team (and $$$$ to spend on special effects, something unlikely in that context), and cast available (including Michael J. Fox), what would be the next live-action, if Universal demanded, after the ending of the trilogy? (For me, not a 4th movie/sequel).

I think the ideas used for the cartoon could have been borrowed for a single season of a TV show. Making a 4th movie (sequel) would not make sense, since the whole thing was wrapped perfectly.

If that was the idea, it leads to more questions: which people back then could be cast as as Doc and Clara's sons? One of them I guess is Macaulay Culkin. Should they even appear in a TV show based on BTTF or the stories resemble what we got from the animation?

What about the events that were never seen during the 3 movies? Doc visiting the future towards the end of the 1st film, and his stay in 1885 after lightning struck the Delorean in 1955, for so many months? Or whatever happened before Marty saw him for the last time in 1985 (at the end of the 3rd)?

What if they tried to recreate the spirit of another TV show, "The Time Tunnel", that also aired in a single season, between 1966 and 1967? That one had its share of chaotic trips to the past or future (not to mention exotic creatures/aliens). More about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrsXsk7-FYw

Another valid question is how useful or needed other main/secondary characters could have been, it's not like all (or most of them) can recreate the same chemistry, since another tone or direction may have been detrimental, and BTTF seemed worse. Perhaps hiring other famous actors and only using the ones we all know from the trilogy a few times (like Mr. Strickland / JAMES TOLKAN)? Not all episodes need the kids or Clara to appear.

And what if back then they were able to settle with Crispin Glover, and he was OK with reprising the role?

Bttf ost so good makes you want to floor 88 on the highway

Not going to lie I feel the need to go 88 on carpool for long family trips. I listened to the musical track “don’t drive 88” and find myself driving 88 to see if my car will travel in time 😂

Lorraine’s parents reaction to being asked if Marty “Can sleep in her room.”

I know we are watching it from the point of View of Marty; obviously he is freaked out over the idea. But what was Sam Baines going to say about that? His oldest daughter, in the mid freaking 50s, wanting a complete stranger sleeping in her bed with her?

The parents still reacted to Marty’s abrupt departure, but when it came back to Lorraine, all Sam could say was “If you ever have kids like that I’d disown you.”

Yet he didn’t care that she wanted Marty to sleep with her, under his roof!
