Don’t be fooled, TikTok will only be banned for a couple days until Trump comes into office and “saves” them. It’s a political stunt.
TikTok went from being labeled a national security threat (with bipartisan agreement) to suddenly being ‘okay’ by Trump because they kissed the ring. Trump originally suggested banning it but now that TikTok is playing nice and attending his inauguration, he’s positioning himself as a hero to young Americans.
Meanwhile, the real issue remains—TikTok poses a legitimate threat to U.S. security.
